It was then after the two spoke that with silent contemplation the elder of the two figured to let it all sink in. For figure for someone so uninitiated as Jasper hear all this would seem a tad bit overwhelming or at best taxing. But then again he was if anything from a different era that the two them. An era of conflict and such that his path of initiation into the order was at best hard and swift. Having learned much as he had of the force in a vastly shorter amount of time that one would hope or expect. Although he had somewhat of an advantage he reckons come from a hearty race of that beings. Where toughness and heartiness were as some would joke breed into them from the start. But that t was a story for another day which he at best did not wish speak of for now.
But then much to his curiosity, Jasper turn his attention towards Ronin for moment spoke.
"Ronin you said you get healers to heal your injuries, does that means there are different positions of being a jedi other than going out into battle?"
He seems to pause before adding to asked.
"I mean, I don't know if I can good out into battle like you two."
To which seem perplexed himself the elder silently nudge Ronin who no sooner spoke. Pulling on what to say from a mix of things he'd read and so far regain thru his session thus far.
"Well yeah, there more to what we do that just go to battles. Though have admit I think can be real cool....after having spent first years or so in as an initiate. Learning the ropes so to speak in a small class with a bunch of other intimate. Under one Master or teacher.....who let you in on the basics. Moving thing ....push ....pull and stuff. Then you get chosen afterward then go out in the field so to speak. Under next phase of being a Master and Apprentice period. Where for most the slowly come into their own and fall in to pursue their particular calling. May it be healing, Academics, Guardian and what not."
At which time figure it only be fair let Ronin off the hook and address Jaspers concerns the elder spoke. Place a hand over his shoulder as he spoke in an assuring tone.
"Well from what I see so far ....your not to far off just with a bit more practice and guidance. You should do fine if you so wish or not to pursue the calling .....as I know few have. And instead sought only assistance in controlling their gifts as they pursued a more personal calling
We all have to start from somewhere and I know of a few who though know been the best of us. Start from humble or seem impossible beginnings.....as wise master of mine use to say.
Even the mightiest of Oaks starts off as but nothing less than a seem insignificantly fragile seed,"
