Yet Mandalore’s enemies did not vanish with the light. They fled downward.
The corruption left behind by the Sith has burrowed into the planet’s veins, seeping into forgotten mines, ancestral mountains, and the deep places where beskar and blood once flowed together. What festers below cannot be allowed to remain, for Mandalore will not tolerate rot within its bones.
Thus, the Mandalorian Empire turns inward and takes up the sword. The surface may be healed, but the heart still bleeds. The work of reclamation is far from finished! To cleanse our home, we must go...Into the Deep!

Into the Deep is a chaptered storyline centered on that descent. Through a series of expedition threads, Mandalorian warriors will push into the depths of their homeworld to hunt down lingering corruption, confront the remnants of Sith experimentation, and reclaim what was defiled during the long years of war. Each chapter represents a single day of the expedition, allowing for focused action, character development, and the forging of bonds that only shared danger can create.
Between these expeditions, Base Camp chapters will provide space for reflection and preparation, giving characters time to tend wounds, sharpen blades, share words with allies, and gather their strength before pressing onward.

Warriors muster at the expedition site on Mandalore’s frontier, armor checked and weapons readied as old names are spoken beside new ones. Stories are shared, rivalries stirred, and resolve hardened in the hours before the earth opens beneath their boots.
This Base Camp chapter focuses on character interaction, anticipation, and the calm before the plunge, offering a chance to establish presence, relationships, and purpose before the expedition begins in earnest.

This chapter marks the first true test of the expedition, where steel will be drawn, blood will be spilled, and Mandalore will answer those who dared to poison its depths.
