Into the Deep End He Goes

The planet of Ord Mantell was a place that the young Knight had never actually visited, due to his shady past with the Mandalorians. Despite their differences, the pure blood actually preferred the armored warriors over most others, for their power and combat prowess was impressive, to say the least. The young Sith man absolutely loved a challenge, and he had always been able to find a decent one when going toe to toe with a Mandalorian. Of course, Ballen-Ist had not arrived on the planet looking for a fight, the exact opposite actually. [member="Nolan Detta"] was one of the few Mandalorians the Sith had met and liked, and thus had imparted a technique to the man. Of course he had known at the time that it would be risky for the Mandalorian, but being the mischievous Sith that he was, Ballen had passed on force rage to the man.

It seemed that it indeed had been a bad idea, as Ballen-Ist watched many individuals get mowed down by the fire of the warrior's blaster. During their brief training, the Knight had hoped to at least guide the man in controlling his rage, though it seemed he was not at that level just yet. Darth Ferus had trained the young pure blood well, for his control over the force was great enough to overpower the immense hatred that had been instilled in him. Remaining still upon a tall building's roof, the Sith would examine the scuffle between the new arrivals, who seemed to be force sensitives as well. Excluding the second Mandalorian. Donning a black, lightly armored jumpsuit, Ballen would leap from the building, his dark, golden trimmed cloak slapping wildly in the wake of his descent. The young Knight had utilized his vast wealth well in his opinion, enjoying the rather regal clothes he had ordered custom made. The bright purple jewel he wore around his neck would glint in the surrounding light as the Sith landed, a telekinetic stream of energy flowing from his feet in order to cushion the impact. Not intimidated or afraid of any of the individuals present, the Knight would approach casually and calmly, a wide smirk upon his face as he looked at Nolan. "Greetings, Nolan. How have you been?" He asked, looking around at the dead bodies. The answer was pretty obvious.

The voice that greeted him was one he'd not heard for many years. His vision had cleared and he turned to face the Pure Blood. The one Sith he'd never actually tried to kill. He nodded and gestured to the apparent mess about them. He then tapped his helmet as Ballen would understand the scenario that had played out.

"I've been better, and you Ballen?" Obvious tone of exhaustion and sarcasm hinted behind his words.

She just continued standing there, lightsaber angled forward but no movement made. She felt little loss in her Force immersion because--well, because she was not exactly advanced in her immersion in the Force. There was not so much to lose with her as there was with the others.

Who was this 'she' the Mandalorian screamed about? 'She' demanded what? Tacitanya watched as the crazed man moved on to whirl about in a daze, demanding the identities of each person left gathered about. This was a rather unfamiliar situation for her. "I'm not a Jedi. I'm just a helper..." Taci's voice trailed off as the Sith made his appearance. Oh boy... Two against one. It might very well be time to scram.

But the twi'lek would linger a little longer, eyes on the woman and the recently-arrived pureblood. She had learned not to turn her back on unsavory types until the situation had been analyzed properly. This was one of those times where she needed to utilize the utmost of caution.

A dry laugh would escape the young Knight's lips as he listened to [member="Nolan Detta"]'s sarcastic retort. "I've been bored, really," the pureblood began, stepping carefully over the bodies that were strung upon the ground randomly. "You should really put a leash on that rage," the Knight spoke nonchalantly, as if referring to a dog. The Sith was able to control his version of the dark side ability, thanks to the tutelage of Darth Ferus. The pureblood possessed a tremendous amount of dark power for a Knight, and was surprisingly able to control it and use it tactically.

With a sudden burst of speed, Ballen would easily maneuver the corpses, coming to a halt in front of the pink Twi'lek within seconds. Lifting an arm to place a hand next to his mouth, the young man would speak in a hushed tone, apparently hoping to shield his words from the nearby Sith Lord. "I don't think she likes you. Doesn't really matter to me, though. You should probably head off either way." The pureblood would advise the woman, a smirk upon his face as he took a few steps back, turning to the Mandalorian. "So, how do you expect to get away with this one, hmm?"

"Reports would indicate a lone Mandalorian in green and gold armor, thankfully, I have a new look in mind. The fact that two Sith joined him and didn't intend to stop him. That would imply a Sith connection. Thankfully for me, a strange young Jedi came a broke the rampage with her words. It would look good for the Jedi and like any other day for the Sith!" Nolan spat the word Sith out of his mouth like it was a bad drink.

"If i leave now that everyone is dead, it should be easier... Jedi, I'd suggest this be reported to your master. It seems as though a fair amount of praise will come your way when you describe the tale of how a young Jedi stopped a Mandalorian in battle with your words. It would make for a great story for your offspring."

Nolan looked back to the Sith woman and gave no mention or motion to her. he turned and motioned for the Pureblood to follow. He'd need a ride off this rock.

"Not so fast."

A needle-like vibrosword snarled to life in the expert but admittedly small hands of Mara Merrill, Queen of the Hyperlanes. Somewhere, a block or more back, a wookiee babysitter roared. Ord Mantell -- Dingo Darr's chop shop, to be precise -- was a place that meant a good deal to her. And civilian massacres meant a good deal more. Stomach rumbling with disquietude, she set her face and her stance, and levelled the vibrosword at [member="Nolan Detta"] and [member="Ballen-Ist"].

[member="Tacitanya"] had help. Probably not the backup she would have chosen, but backup nonetheless.

"You're going to pay for what you done."

The short twi'lek stood firm--if frightened--lightsaber still angled dead ahead even as the pureblood confronted her. There would have been no use running away at that point. All she could do was maintain a steel grip on her saber's hilt and monitor the movements of each of these dark presences.

Taci had never ventured to kill anyone--yet. In fact, she had never encountered a massacre like this before. This was simply unreal. It did not happen. Not even the police of Nar Shaddaa would let this sort of inconceivable act slip under their radar. This was just brutal.

Asemir had taught her that, unfortunately, there were just some people who needed to die. The cry for justice screamed and battered around inside her head, her lavender eyes darkening as she finally took in the pain that saturated this air. How many people had this man killed? She did not dare count. But she knew what needed to be done. Sadly, she would be alone--perfectly alone and fodder for the weapons of the three dark Force users before her. But she would do the right thing. That was what she had pledged to do.

But was she alone? Another's presence was felt (Good Force, are there even this many Force people at the Jedi Temple?), and soon she had an ally beside her--another friend of justice. Maybe Taci would not actually die today. "Put down your weapons," she commanded timidly, still not able to compensate for her lack in height with any sort of authoritative voice. "Or we will have to kill you."

The tyrian glanced to her side to gauge the reaction of her unexpected partner. Had she just doomed them both? Sorry...
