Into The Blue

Not too long ago, the Chiss Ascendancy opened it's doors to potential business deals with companies outside of their territory. This was their way of letting the galaxy know that the Chiss AScendancy had changed. Their previously notorious xenophobia was slowly being eradicated, much like other stereotypes normally associated with the Chiss. The Ruling Houses wanted change. And this would be a good start.

The setting was the Hall of Achievements, a grand building in Csalpar, the Chiss capital. It was here that Aristocra Marina ran her portion of the government including agriculture, industry, and science. If anyone were to be the one bringing fresh faces from the business world to Csilla, it would be her. Each of her guests who were kind enough to respond to her open invitation would be transported there by her own people to ensure comfort and reliability in all of their transit to Csilla.

Marina awaited her guests within the meeting room. Upon their arrival, the spokespeople for their respective companies would be given special VIP badges then shown the way to the meeting room. There, they would find a long pearly white table with enough seats for each of them and more and Marina sitting at the head of the table.

Judas was quite impressed with the degree of comfort and security the Chiss Ascendancy had provided to make their esteemed guests feel safe and at-home. This was probably the first technical business meeting he had attended where he didn't seem like the one struggling to a squeeze a contract for his company. All in good time, he thought to himself. Still, despite the security provided he still insisted upon bringing a bodyguard of his own along. One could never be too careful these days.
Upon entering the majestic building, the Wayne Tech CEO was greeting by a man providing him with a VIP badge. He was then directed to what he could only assume was the meeting room. It was a grand setting if he had ever seen one, the exquisite architecture of the interior topped by an expensive-looking table in the middle of the room. This immediately told Judas something about these people; they had a lot of wealth and they were going to great lengths to display it. The private escort, the palace-like building, and now an excessively fancy table as the centerpiece of the room. This was something he would have to keep in mind during negotiations.
He saw a Chiss woman sitting at the head of the table as he walked into the room. That could only be their host for this grand affair. He straightened the tie on his Executive Protection Armor. The black pinstripe suit would appear, by all accounts, to be just that. This couldn't be farther from the truth, however. Rusty's Custom Firearms and Cutlery had designed this baby to withstand all sorts of damage in the event of an attack, once again displaying Judas's semi-paranoia about these events. If this did turn out to be trap then he would probably be much better prepared than the rest of his peers.
He approached the blue-skinned woman at the head of the table, displaying his usual charming smile and offering his hand in a gesture of greeting. "Judas Wayne, CEO of Wayne Technologies. Would it be fair of me to assume that you are our host tonight?"
