F O N D O R
OMEGA PYRE TOWERS
OFFICE OF THE LADY PROTECTOR

It had come to this.

Lady Protector Cira of the Omega Protectorate quietly bore her steely gaze upon the parchment of filmsi that would execute the following order; the internal investigation of everyone of the Protectorate's employees, as well as freelancers, to determine if they posed a security risk.

The recent events with OMNI and the Red Queen, along with the attempted assassination of the Lady Protector and the security breeches over Abregado-Rae made it clear to Cira that there was a security risk among her employees.

Anyone found to be consorting or allying with factions or personnel contrary to the Protectorate's interests will be liable to have their position terminated and no longer allowed within Protectorate space.

Taking up the stylus, Cira gave it a light twirl. Then, with a bold signature at the bottom lower hand corner, enacted ORDER 007.

@Cira
MEANWHILE, IN THE APARTMENT OF SOLITUDE
HK was tending to his ropos, giving each of them a bath, Frank was currently sounding out very agitated and angry "Meep!" at the droid splashing him in bubbly bathwater and tending to the little creature's fur, while the other two ropos were snuggled in fluffy towels. Suddenly HK's datapad sounded out
"Hm?"
The droid turned towards it, putting the ropo from the bath onto a towel and wiping him hastily, Frank was annoyed that he did not receive as much luxury as the other two ropos and shook his wet fur, fluffying it up.
HK looked at the terminal, the message was a summon into Lady Protector's office, Order 007 was initiated. Internal investigation. The droid was schocked, Omega has been infiltrated, and although his alliegances have been to Vagrants as much as to Omega, he never compromised information between the two, staying loyal to both. HK returned to his bathroom, finsihing drying Frank and snuggling him up in a towel, setting some biscuits down for ropos, he muttered out quickly.
"I need to go, work calls."
"Meep!"
The ropos answered, giving him puppy eyes, but to no avail, droid needed to answer his duty. HK quickly put on his Second Lieutenant armor, showing off his position in Omega Pyre, this time he also put on a trenchcoat over it and a hat with a wide brim on his head. He was in his Old Body, hat being large enough to fit on his head, his red photoreceptors glowed with a sinister light from beneath the shade of the brim.
FONDOR TOWERS
Soon enough, HK was by Lady Protector's office, nodding to Lex, Cira's Nautolan secretary
"Let Lady Cira now I am here to answer her summon."
Lex nodded with that Nautolan smiiiiiiiile, pressing intercom to Cira's office
"Lady Protector, Second Lieutenant 36 here to see you."

Lady Protector's Office

Sarge had caught wind of the investigations coming down; it was hard not to when he lived in the office of the woman in charge of the Protectorate. So, to save himself a headache... he'd preempted things.

He'd filled a datapad with logs on everything he'd been doing since joining the Protectorate.

The list included some rather surprising things:

  • While on a contracted mission to steal information from the Sith Empire, he met the then-Empress Ashin Varanin, along with her Champion Anaya Fen... who he'd all but killed with two gunshots to her stomach.
  • He had become a known freeman of the Singing Mountain Clan of the Dathomir Witches.
  • He had traveled, briefly, across the Outer Rim with Alna while on leave from the Protectorate.
  • He had thawed out the Twi'lek that Cira had talked to during RC's capture while assisting the Republic.
  • Jedi Master Sky Kerberos was a woman he'd spent some time helping after she had been cloned.
  • Circe Savan had tried curing his PTSD, although he'd not allowed her wyrms near him - he made mention of the fact that in a vulnerable moment he had slept with her once and avoided her ever since; this was before her crimes were known.
  • He'd spent time on Zeltros - while on leave - spending time in a casino. He'd met both a Republic Senator and a Jedi Master in doing so.
  • He'd attempted to subvert Anaya Fen into leaving the Empire.
  • At one point provided help for Jorus making the Mara Corridor.
  • Attended a social event Patches had manipulated, just to annoy the man.
  • Visited Hologram Fun World while on a trip to visit Alna, finding it a spaceworthy tomb.
  • Lady Anya Wingate was someone he counted as a friend, and they'd spent some time together while he was on leave to Corellia - although he left unclear what that entailed as she was a known non-security risk.
The datapad was set on her desk and @Cira should have had time to read it by the time HK arrived. Sarge would be on the outskirts of the office, as he usually was.

he was training solo in his apartment when the message alerted him to activity within the faction, it had been set up to send a faction wide alert but Kiris began to think it only alerted himself, with his concentration broken he rose and went over to look at the alert, it was order 007 which kiris could tell was one that needed to be tended to right away.

His mind hammering at him for not training harder to get his body into more muscled glory and his body aching for more but he knew his obligation to the faction needed to be tended to and he grabbed a bottle of water on his way out, not noticing he was just in his sweat pants and a light tank top with his sandles on, not his attire he was most fond of but it'd work for now.

Walking from the housing complex he quickly got to the administrative offices of OP and walked to the Lady Protectors office seeing as HK was already there waiting to be let in, he just nodded his way and set down on one of the chairs to wait.

Nyos was off-world, on requisition of medical supplies for Bespin. After they had been attacked by the Bando Gora, the City needed massive quantities of medicine and bandages. Nyos was in the process of unloading his cargo when the datapad he was holding showed a new message from Lady @Cira requesting a return to base. Nyos finished his delivery, and headed back.

Zero seemed to always come from nowhere as he materalized in the room. He never really liked people to follow him or see where he was going. It was his personal choice. He showed up in his usual black suited and helmeted armor with the sword on his back the guns on his hips and another on the small of his back. Apparently there was a new faction that was growing, and they were taking planets fast. almost a planet a week to some of the forums that Zero had found. Zero was no splicer but he could get records about things. He did have contacts. Which wasn't hard when you are the masked guy with the blue sword.

Currently he was in a room with a few others to discus this new Confederacy. Zero didnt care for them as he stood in the corner as silent as a corpse.

@HK-36 @Sarge Potteiger

Cira took the datapad from Sarge, and for once, could not stop the rather baffled expression on her face as she drew her gaze from the display over to Sarge.

"...really?" only they would know about what exactly she meant. Nonetheless, that would have to wait for another time, as the Second Lieutenant was here to see her. He'd be leading the investigation, as he'd more than proven himself as their best infiltrator and investigator.

The assassin droid was ushered in and with that, the implementation of Order 007 would begin.

"Good to see you Second Lieutenant," Cira said with a faint smile of greeting, coming to her feet. "There is little time to waste, so I will be blunt." she extended to him the sheet of filmsi confirming the internal investigation.

"I would like you to head the investigation on the Protectorate's employees for any security risks."

HK nodded, offering her a crisp salute from the entrance
"My Lady, you look as beautiful as always."
He nodded as more information was given to him and confirmed his worries, Order 007 was implemented then. He took the sheet delicately from Lady's hand, reading it over and nodding.
"Do I have a full clearance then?"
He glanced to the datapad she was reading just now, the one from Sarge
"And to implement my techniques effectively, m'Lady, I will need all of the information you have gathered on all of the employees, please."
He looked back to her, looking her deep in the eyes with his cold, glowing photoreceptors
"My methods may be throughout and a pain in the ass, but they have never failed you, did you, my Lady?"

The Sergeant Major gave her a curt nod, not wanting to speak now that HK was in the room. That nod said all she needed to know. That was not however an OK for her to just hand over his personal information to HK. "She can make her own interpretations of my information, HK. I'd rather you not know my business."

@Cira @Sarge Potteiger
HK nodded to Cira, slightly turning his head when Sarge spoke
"Sarge, with all due respect, I consider you a friend, a rival, and a role model in one. But you know just as well as me"
He slightly showed the information on Order 007 he just received
"That for the duration of the Order, it is my job to know your business as anybody else's."
He then nodded to Lady Protector
"But if there are any exceptions to that, Lady Protector will let me know, I am sure, and if she does not want me to read information on you, it will be omitted with other intel I will receive."
He took out his datapad, making reservation for a room to begin his investigations in
"Lady Protector, please begin calling the personnel to room 47 on the second floor, I would like to begin interrogations immediately."
He nodded to her again
"Do you have any questions or words, Lady Protector, or am I free to leave?"

@HK-36

Sarge merely smirked as he tapped a small device set into his vest, wiping the data from Cira's datapad without a hint. "My business is my business, my friend. The Lady Protector may know it, and Exarch Cater may know. I draw the line there, I'm afraid. There are some things you needn't know. You'll have the file that lists my activities since joining OmegaPyre, and that's it."

Mostly because Sarge had ensured that's all there was.

One did not simply know the Syndicate's business, defunct though it may be.

"I will have Lex get to that and send the word out to everyone." She gave a nod to HK.

"No, that is all, Second Lieutenant." she told him, really not wanting to delve into Sarge's past. The video of him getting Roxanne's pregancy test tossed at his face had already been transmitted a while ago. It had even been turned into a holo gif!

If this got out; he'd never live it down.

HK nodded again,
"Lady Protector, Sarge"
And with that he was out of the door, checking his datapad again, closing the door to Lady's office behind him, he showed a datapad to Lex who was sitting by his desk next to her office, the Nautolan read it, his smile slowly disappeared and he looked up to HK, HK nodded and moved on his way to the second floor.
Lex typed something in, soon enough all of the Omega employees, both permanent and not would receive the following message:
"To all Omega employees, Order 007 has been executed, you are ordered to report to room 47 on the Second Floor of the Omega Tower on Fondor, there an interview will be conducted by the Head Inspector Iron Knight to evaluate your loyalty to the Protectorate."

Sarge turned his attention briefly to Cira, "You can keep the datapad if you want.", he deadpans. Thankfully enough, when going through Cira's files on appointments he'd found that gif... and shifted it around so that any computer would immediately recognize it as a virus and delete it. Ayden had taught him a few things, after all.

Covering your tracks never felt so good.

But he'd be keeping an eye on HK...

Skree looked up as her comlink beeped. "Ah, come on." She murmured, fully aware that half her left lekku was practically soaked in grease and oil from cleaning out the Solomon's engines - as well as the Spacewing's. "Can't a girl work in peace?" She sighed, tapping the device to receive the message.
"To all Omega employees, Order 007 has been executed, you are ordered to report to room 47 on the Second Floor of the Omega Tower on Fondor, there an interview will be conducted by the Head Inspector Iron Knight to evaluate your loyalty to the Protectorate."
Skree's attitude changed majorly. Uh-oh. She thought, gut churning. She was loyal to Omega, but authority figures always made her nervous. Cleaning off what machine residue she could, she made her way quickly to the specified location via a little help from her ship. When she arrived at the nearest docking bay, she made her way up to Room 47 on the second floor. This will be...interesting.

"Next!"
Called out the electronic voice of the Inspector from inside, a man just went out of the room, he sighted out a sight of relief, nodding to Skree. Lucky for her she was next in line. There were two armed figures standing by the doorway, covered in thick armor, flamethrowers in their hands.
"You're next."
Said one of the large armored man to Skree, their armor was gold-colored with rust and steel-colored highlights, emblem of HK and of Omega was on their chest.
Whether Skree liked it or not she would be pulled into the room, it was small and dark, inside only one lamp, one table, and two chairs. One chair for her, HK sat on the other, he was wearing a grey trench coat, large grey hat on his head, his face hidden under the shadow of said hat, only his red glowing eyes visible from underneath, he spoke in his stoic voice.
"I am Head Inspector Iron Knight, everything you will say will be recorded and can be used against you, every information you will provide will be cross referenced and checked for liability, if you are founded to be lying about anything during this interview, proper actions will be taken."
He motioned towards the chair, offering it to her
"What is your name, young one?"

It was always something. Never a continuous moment to relax.

"To all Omega employees, Order 007 has been executed, you are ordered to report to room 47 on the Second Floor of the Omega Tower on Fondor, there an interview will be conducted by the Head Inspector Iron Knight to evaluate your loyalty to the Protectorate."

The message was simple. People were going to get booted out if they had been consorting with certain groups. A heavy sigh escaped Ventasia's lips. No that she had anything to worry about, but she had other things to do. Personal things. Things that had nothing to do with anyone but her, yet she was being forced to spend her time being investigated. The doors slid open as she entered into the room 47, here eyes glancing about at the others as she crossed her arms over her chest. "This better not be a waste of time.."

When the man came out and told her she was next, Skree blinked. "Okay." She said agreeably, allowing herself to be pulled into the dimly lit room, rubbing her wrists and wishing she'd taken a moment to change into a pair of unstained - well, less-stained pants, anyway. She didn't own any unstained ones anymore. Taking the chair opposite Head Inspector Iron Knight, she chewed her bottom lip. "Uh, Skree. Skree Ariko. Leading Crewer." She added quickly, remembering the whole rank thing.

"Indeed. Let me @Cira, please." This was done, and Tegaea was soon on the line to the Lady Protector. "Cira, Tegs here. I do hope this doesn't go too far," she said meaningfully. There was something about mandatory loyalty interviews that got her teeth on edge.

"I haven't known him very long - I met him when I was salvaging some X-Wing parts for Circe Savan a while back - this was before Endor, or at least before I heard about it." She added quickly, sure she'd just make a giant mistake. Truth, whole truth, nothing but the truth...even if it shoots you in the back. "The old astromech-less models that got dumped out in space - he was there too, and he offered to get me a transfer onto his ship so it wouldn't fall apart." She continued with a laugh. "So, he's my captain, superior officer - not exactly sure what the official term is." She admitted. "But he's nice and understanding. Respected." She added. The young Twi'lek had a high opinion of him. Kark it, why'd I have to bring up Circe?

"I joined Omega almost right after leaving home, actually - so I've only worked with her after. I do recall her trying to hire me at one point...this was when I was designing a starfighter for her, although it didn't make it to production as far as I know. I've still got the blueprints...sorry, getting off topic. Aside from the starfighter-designing job, the salvage mission was the only other time I worked with her. She seemed nice when I talked to her, but then I was working for her...so, maybe she just has good business sense of not ticking off people who are helping her." She mused. "Oh, and I was at, uh, Sluis Van, Hoth, and Mustafar." Skree added, remembering the last question.

Although he can never fully sleep, because his cybernetic eye cant "close its lid" so it was always on, but his brain had learned to tune it out when it was tired. Nyos sat against a parallel wall to the interviewers room, down about 10 meters away. His head dipped and his mind wandered and finally he slept. For the first time in a long time, Nyos dreampt.
He could see the fire of his ship as it was attacked, then the loss of his right arm, eye/ear and left leg. The pain was still there, seared into his memory. He remembered waking up to a bright white room, strange people claiming to be helping him, then turning on him and trying to turn him into a weapon. he chased the leaders back into the ship, and slaughtered them. That was the first time he'd ever killed anyone with his hands. He was afraid, of whether he liked what he did or that he liked being 'free' again. This is where it got bad for Nyos.

Upon returning home after stealing his ship, "Pheobus", he happened upon his family, murdered by the same people who'd "helped" him. He remembered the fire, the screams as he killed the assassins that were sent after him. His arm was his weapon, and it felt good to use it. Nyos saw blood everywhere he went before he found the Protectorate. He had gone back to Coruscant where the leaders of the company behind his attackers were, and Nyos killed them all, their families too. He hated what he did, but hated them even more. He had to change before it was too late, when he stumbled upon the OP, he saw his chance for Redemption. To start anew. A clean slate with those that had never heard of him, his troubles or his crimes against morality. Nyos then could see all the battles he'd been in, the lives he'd taken and those he'd given back. From Mandalore to Bespin, he killed and saved many people.

Then his mind wandered further into the dark corners of Nyos' subconscious. The fear he had for what he may have become if he hadn't tried to change. The monster he had inside of him, that wanted the blood and death about him. He became restless in his dream-state, body flinching, and convulsing. The blue of his normal, calm eye had bled into red. His gears whined and rattled inside their metal casings. Nyos felt pure fear inside of him. He ran in his mind away from the darkness but it was always right behind him, waiting for him to slip up and swallow him inside his own mind.....

"Why... am I not surprised." Cira ended up saying shortly after. Of course, one couldn't really determine if it was due to keeping the datapad... or the contents within.

None the less, she had reports to go over... as well as utilizing the two way mirrors to view the interviews as they went underway...

"Amen to that. We ain't the Imperial Inquisition," Siobhan commented from her seat when Tegaea made her call. She had been trying to understand a simple book about astrogation. It had sounded cool when Jorus did it, but now it just hurt her head! "Best keep Skaldi off the 'Investigators'. She'll test out all her 'serums' and 'suddenly discover wreckers and sloths'."

Siobhan liked Moira even less than Maelion and said something. She figured getting the chance to interrogate and purge lots of people was the blonde's equivalent of an orgasm. "Err, boss, this thing with Circe doesn't count does it? I mean, it was ten years ago and I destroyed like a legion of her droidekas and commando droids a month ago and helped Jorus wreck her Star Destroyer?" she asked innocently.

"To all Omega employees, Order 007 has been executed, you are ordered to report to room 47 on the Second Floor of the Omega Tower on Fondor, there an interview will be conducted by the Head Inspector Iron Knight to evaluate your loyalty to the Protectorate
Noah groaned as he heard the message over the intercom in the gym. Noah walked away from the bench press he had been using and walked into the locker room to change into some different clothes. He ended up just changing into the bottom of his armor and a short sleeved shirt.
After exiting the gym and used his speeder to get to the tower, Noah used the elevator and walked into the lobby outside the room waiting to be called in.

Corvo watched out the forward view (which was absolutely magnificent on the YGX) as the Persephone chased down a fleeing light freighter on the edge of CIS space. The smaller ship was firing back at them with its single dual laser and doing almost nothing, while his own gunners were doing their best to disable the turret without destroying the ship. A horrible possibility which precluded them from using the prow turbolaser after just two hits. It had been shield and hyperdrive knock-out in a quick one-two punch before the other ship even realized that they weren't a friendly.

The beeping of his personal datapad pulled his attention away from the spectacle. Internal investigations of Omega Pyre employees? Well that didn't apply to him, did it? He was freelance, besides, they knew what he'd been up to ever since joining as a privateer for them. He looked up just in time to see the last of the flames erupt from the turret well before internals locked down any escaping air. "Excellent, lets begin boarding, I want to see what they were so eager to defend." It probably hadn't been spice, smugglers usually put more into their ships and this one looked stock, but other than that it could be anything, from gold to electronic parts, even eighty tons of hair gel. That had been a fun one, especially when the wookie tried it out and thought she looked fabulous.

"Uh...well, it was shortly after I joined, which was right after Roche I believe. I seem to recall some speeches and a bit of aftermath when I first got here, but I don't remember anything about someone trying to assassinate the Lady Protector." Skree replied. When asked about the pirate RC 212, she chewed her lip again, but in a more thoughtful manner this time. "I know he was recently in Protectorate custody...might still be headbutting his cell wall for all I know though. And uh, I think he had something to do with Mandalore...and the Ewoks on Endor." She added, remembering hearing talk from the other engineers about the teddy bear emissary coming about RC.

Skree has exit the room with a smile and the droid's voice called out from depths of the smaller compartment of the room where the interviews were being conducted in private
"Next!"
The two Iron Company guards motioned to Ventasia and the door
"You're next, miss."
She would be ushered into the dark compartment, same sight that awaited Ariko, one table, two chairs, little to no lightning, Inspector in a hat covering his face and a trench coat, HK recited to her
"I am Head Inspector Iron Knight, everything you will say will be recorded and can be used against you, every information you will provide will be cross referenced and checked for liability, if you are founded to be lying about anything during this interview, proper actions will be taken."

Making mistakes was not something that Ven'Rain Sekairo enjoyed. Unfortunately, the mad merc had made many, many mistakes recently. Including consorting with an apparent War Criminal. Which, of course, was never a good thing. It wasn't entirely Ven's fault. Prior to working full time at OP she had been a worker of Circe's. The two had grown semi-close, but it had always seemed like Miss Savan enjoyed it more then her employee did.
Recent events had only reached Ven's ears a few days ago, right before she was put in the hospital. The merc had traveled to Ord Mantell, her homeworld, to do a favor for an old friend. Turns out, it was a trap. A group had been wanting to learn about the Republic and Empire, two factions the merc had previously worked with. During their interrogation they let a few facts slip, notifying Ven of Circe's actions, or at least some of them.
Eventually the likely terrorists grew tired of her lack of answers, and gassed her. They proceeded to maim her, intending to kill her. Adrenaline kicked in when she awoke, allowing her to get closer to one of the nearby cities. Ven wasn't sure who saved her, but she did know that when she awoke, Circe Savan was standing besides her. They talked, and many things were revealed. Though Ven wasn't sure she could trust her boss fully.
And when the order came out to return to base... It was startling, and terrifying. Now here she was... waiting to be called in. The mad merc sat quietly, waiting for her turn. She was still wondering what exactly to tell OP. A few of the revelations were quite hard to believe... It wasn't 100% either that Ven had been told the truth.
So as she sat, she considered her options:
Tell what them what she was told, all of it, likely leading to an investigation, or her prompt removal.
Lie, pretend she was told nothing, and attempt to make good enough excuses to why she talked to Circe.
Or...
Sell her former boss out and help with her capture.
It would be a tough decision, and an interesting outcome...

As Skree left from the dark room, Ventasia's eyes trailed after her for but a moment before turning back towards the door. The two guards on either side of her ushered her into room 47 as the door promptly shut behind her. Her eyes glanced down at the table and two chairs before trailing upward, stopping as she gained sight of the inspector cloaked by this hat and coat. "This is utterly pointless.."

Her arms remaining crossed over her chest, Ventasia leaned back against the door behind her, eye remaining fixated on the inspector's frame. Why exactly did she come here, knowing she was going to be interrogated? It's not as if she exactly followed the rules others set, nor did she honestly care what anyone thought about where her loyalties lie. Yet, here she was. Willingly being questioned for no good reason. She scoffed at the inspector as he began his questionnaire. "Terana. Now, ask something that actually matters or I'll go find a better way to waste my time."

"I need to remind you that this interview is mandatory for all Omega personnel who wish to keep their position, and that is an order coming from Lady Protector herself. The point of it is to find any connections to recent leaks of information and infiltration attempts. You are currently very low on the suspect list, miss Terana, but if you wish to leave before this interview is over, that will move you quite a bit higher, and you will be asked to testify before court I believe. Now please, answer the questions so we can both move on with our lives without any trouble."
HK looked up at her slightly from the datapad
"Now it is listed in your files that you are working under Captain Racket in a Strike Team Alpha, with a rank of a Lieutenant and position as.."
He glanced to his datapad to get a double take
".. The Negotiator?"
He slightly titled his head at her
"How has that been working out for you? What can you tell me about your work with the team and what impression individual members have put on you."

She simply narrowed her eyes the inspector, her hands balling into fists. She hated this. All of this. Not only did it waste her own time. but she found herself once more wondering if was where she truly belonged. She never stood well in the eyes of The Republic, and she never fit in with the morals of the Jedi. Why would this be any different? "Let me remind you that anything I say will be systematically dissected, and I'll more than likely become a prime suspect regardless. I don't stand before courts, judges, or anything of the like. So if I choose to leave, you can believe that ism't happening either. And I'm sure this is what your life consist of, no matter what day it is. So don't patronize by saying you have things to do. Got it? Good. Now hurry up with these pointless questions."

Her anger and frustration was evident in not only her expression and body language, but her tone as well. Her arms unfolded from her chest as she took a few steps to the table, leaning over it and placing her hands on the table to brace herself. As he began the interr.....interview process. The double take he did as he glanced at the dossier made it obvious that he was shocked at what he read.

"For one, I don't work under anyone. We may happen to be on the same team, and he may out rank me, but that means nothing. I take orders from no one expect myself. As for my job; why so shocked? Can't believe that someone like me is capable of negotiations? How typical. Your so pompous that at first glance you believe you can read a person and judge what they're all about. Truth is, you don't know the first thing about me. I'm the best at what I do. Period. I get the job done, and get the necessary agreements made no matter what it takes. I do whatever I need to in order to accomplish the mission. And no one can say anything otherwise. If that makes me a traitor, then by all means, call Cira and tell her you've found the mole. Otherwise, either ask the next question or tell these pathetic excuses for guards to stand down before I blow them away."

In truth, it was a wonder Ventasia was still even in the room, let alone speaking to this inspector. She couldn't figure it out, but continued to wonder why she was still there. She had no obligation to stay. It certainly wasn't the contract she'd signed that night she nearly crashed into the Protectorate's orbiting headquarters. Why was she here? Why didn't she just walk out? Ventasia didn't know the answer to any of the questions she was bombarding herself with, and it irked to no end.

Ventasia simply blinked as the hat fell from the inspector's head to reveal...a droid. But not just any droid, it was HK. Silently, she stood in disbelief for a few moments as she allowed her mind to catch up to her eyes. "Seriously? Seriously, Bolts? Seriously?" Now she was just annoyed. The fact that HK was the one pulling these investigations proved she could have skipped this. A slight sigh escaped her lips as she shook her head lightly. "Something like that, yeah. And who is Circe Savan? Someone I should know about?"

She had no need to lie. The name of person hadn't even crossed her eyes. Whether she was one the Protectorate's enemies, she didn't know. And frankly, Ventasia couldn't have cared less. She was loyal to yourself, for in her mind, there was no one else who could stand beside her.

Ventasia scoffed once more, stepping back from the table and crossing her arms before shaking her head and turning her back. "I couldn't care less if your annoyed. Dismiss me ever again and I'll disassemble you and toss you out the nearest airlock. We clear?" With that, the flame-haired vixen gave a final glance over her shoulder, narrowing her eyes at HK before stepping off. She glanced to both guards as the doors slid open. "What are you idiots gawking at?" Ventasia left the room, cleared of suspicion, but something had her ire now. Whoever this Circe was, she was causing issues. It gave her just another thing to add to her to-do list. Expect this one rested at the top.

As Bojin was sitting in the Omega Tower awaiting an assignment to his first ship within the Omega Defence Force, his datapad lit up with a somewhat ominous message. He skimmed over the notification; “Room 47, 'Interview', The Iron Knight, Loyalty.” It would seem there was a problem from within the Protectorate and it sounded quite serious. He made his way to a turbolift and was soon on his way to the interview room as required. Once he arrived, he took a seat outside the door; not quite sure if he actually needed to be there seeing as he had only recently joined the Protectorate. He, however, was more than willing to cooperate with the investigation, if for no other reason, starting his career off on the right foot.

When Noah exit the little dark room, the inspector's voice boomed out
"Next!"
The guard at the doors, pointed to Ven'Rain then
"You're next miss."
And she was ushered in inside, into the dark little room with two chairs and one table, the being hidden under large hat and shadows of the barely lit room spoke up
"I am Head Inspector Iron Knight, everything you will say will be recorded and can be used against you, every information you will provide will be cross referenced and checked for liability, if you are founded to be lying about anything during this interview, proper actions will be taken."
He looked up slightly from the datapad
"What is your name, miss?"

Quietly Ven had nodded, entered the room, and sat down. The implant that kept her heart going was doing its best to keep her heart rate steady, but even it couldn't stop her nerves. Of course the merc was nervous. Out of everyone at OP, she was probably the one who had worked the most with Circe, and had even seen her recently. Very recently at that.
"Ven'Rain Sekairo reporting. Though most of the people I work with call me Ven for short." The mad merc said. Trying to remain calm, she let out a little sigh and kept her gaze locked with the interrogator's.

HK nodded, noting down her answer in his datapad
"Corporal Ven, how long have you been with the Omega Pyre? And to which unit have you been assigned? Is there anyone you are especially close to?"
The last question was meant in the Omegas, HK was asking if she was part of a team or had somebody she always accompanied on missions, no doubt, however, that the question would bring up Circe in Ven's mind. After all, Circe even asked Ven to marry her.

For a few moments Ven thought about his questions. None of her answers for the first two really seemed to matter. It was the third that caught her attention. And got her thinking about Circe. But she knew she had to stay as calm as possible. The mad merc had no intentions of lying. However, if she seemed nervous, some might assume she was being dishonest.
"I've been with OP for about a month. Currently I have no set unit. I've been kind of bouncing around for a bit. Should have a set group pretty soon, I reckon. Probably for my next mission/assignment. Um... so far I'm not to close with anyone within OP. I've seen Skree Ariko around a few times. We haven't talked, but she seems really nice. I respect Noah Corek, he seems like a fighter. Let's see... Yeah, probably them."
That was all she had for now. Inside she was still figuring out what to say about the whole thing with Circe. Would it be better to mention it first, or wait for the interrogator to? Better safe then sorry.
"Before you mention it, since I know you're going to, I do know Circe Savan. I've known her for a long time now. Ask what you want about her. I'll be honest about it."

"How long exactly have you known her for? How close the two of you were? Did she included you into her plans? Were you involved in the genocide on Endor she financed? Have you been placed to work with RC? If not, what kinds of jobs has she put you into?"
HK watched her carefully, taking in every twitch of her face, every expression

It was time. Once she started talking, it all came out. A rush of information and emotions.
"I've known her for around a year, year and a half. We're pretty damn close. She saved my life on multiple occasions... Restored my arm back to normal after it was amputated... Just the other day, well, five days ago, she got me to a medical facility. I was on Ord Mantell to do an old bud a favor... It was a trick. They wanted info on the Republic and the Empire. When I didn't give it to them they tried to kill me. Almost succeeded. If Circe hadn't helped, I'd be lying dead in a ditch... While we were there together we talked, about a lot of things..."
The mad merc paused for a moment, letting the man catch up on his notes. Quickly she took a breath, and started speaking again. This time she slowed down her words, and tried to remain on topic.
"Prior to that meeting I knew little about her actions regarding Endor and RC. To answer your question, no, I was not involved with Endor. At the time I was working on paperwork, trying to buy an apartment here on Fondor. In that general time frame I also met with Verse Steicor, an old military bud. You can contact her if you wish to double check this information. She's with the Republic, nice girl... But back to Endor. I was not told of her plans before they were enacted. Though recently I have learned that her intentions had not been to slaughter the Ewoks... It's complicated, and I don't fully understand any of it, honestly. Also I learned that Circe is now very, very upset with RC. She has asked me to kill him if possible. In response I told her I'd do my best to bring him to justice, make him pay for what he's done. Though I doubt I'd be able to do that. I heard a rumor that he's now in custody. Is that true? I don't wish to seek action against him at the moment. I'll merely comment that he deserves whatever punishment he gets."
Once more she paused, going over what she still needed to say. Luckily, there wasn't that much left.
"Oh, to answer your other question: No, I've never been asked to work with RC. And with late turn of events, I likely never will. Don't really want to either. Previously, back when Circe was my only employer, before OP, she asked me to protect shipments from pirate raids. That lasted awhile. There were a few odd jobs here and there. No current orders. I don't really work for her anymore. OP is my home now. The only connections I really have with her nowadays is our friendship... And in the past she's expressed feelings for me. LLC she calls it. Loves me like a sister, apparently still lusts for me, and cares about me. Something like that. Currently we aren't romantically involved, at least officially. Most recently I rejected her advances, not feeling the same. I do care about her. Just not that way. I believe that answers those questions. Anything I missed, or anything else you would like to know?"

@Ven'Rain Sekairo
The droid listened through it all, and gave out an imitation of a sigh, removing the large hat on his head. Ven could probably recognize HK now, his body was different color, but she met him looooong ago on Tatooine and during hunt for Darren Onyx.
"Ven, I will not lie to you, your position in Omega Pyre may be endangered. But keep telling the truth and you should pass without any problems."
HK looked down at his datapad
"I am glad you are still alive, but the truth is, Circe did lie to you on multiple accounts."
He looked back to her
"Circe's intents were very much to slaughter Ewoks, in fact, she ordered them to be skinned, and we have recordings and transcripts as evidence that she offered RC a hundred credits for each pelt of an Ewok and two hundred for their leaders. And I can back it up, Ven, I was there when the Endor burned, and I saw Circe's ship escape from the planet's orbit as soon as Omega Protectorate has arrived to help the Ewoks."
He looked down to the datapad
"As to RC, he was brought to justice twice, once personally by me, and he is still at large. Do you know why? Circe personally bought him out from the Hutts. It is because of her that RC is still pirating the hyperlanes, she has sent you to kill the man she has freed from her own pocket, we have recordings and testimonies to prove that as well."
He glanced back to Ven
"Ven, you do realize you will have to break all ties with her if you wish to remain with Omegas? For Force's sake, she played you like a puppet, I have seen it done before, I have hunted her ever since she ordered the burning of Endor, I was always there to clean up after her destruction. She is wanted by both Omegas and the Confederacy where she is on their Council. As such, you will probably be put under close watch for further investigation, mostly to make sure you will not harbor a fugitive or aid her otherwise. Is that understood, Ven?"

Lied? Circe lied? Could it really be true? That everything she had just confessed to Ven been a lie? It was a hard idea to think about. Everything that the Faleen had said was a bit odd... But didn't the mad merc trust her friend? Why would Circe lie? And why would she go to such lengths to try and convince her former employee of her innocence? The girl had mentioned clones... Was that really the truth? Could that be the solution to it all? Perhaps it was time Ven pay visit to the facilities her friend had mentioned. That is, if they even existed.
"Forgive me HK... I need a moment, that's a lot to take in... The things she told me... I'm not sure what to believe. S-she seemed so... so honest. I don't know who to trust HK. But if she was lying... and I mean 100% using me... Then she'll pay. I refuse to be betrayed again. After the last time... Damn it, why does this happen so much?"
Now she had gone from shocked to infuriated. Every second it seemed more and more like she really had been used. Memories of Project X's attack and the following chaos came back. Vivid images retelling the merc's first betrayal, and her resulting descent into madness, flashed through her mind. It only made things worse.
"You are understood HK. I will stop speaking to her. If she comes knocking, I will inform OP. If she asks for assistance, I will aquire her coordinates and inform OP. For I do not consort with liars. Thank you for informing me of her actions. Before I only knew bits and pieces..." Now the mad merc simply sat, fuming silently. Circe would not use her again.

Having calmed down a little, Ven took a deep breath and thought about HK's questions. It was hard to remember everything that had been mentioned before... Circe and her had talked for a long time, on numerous occasions. After a little under a minute the merc had her answers.
"I've never discussed much about OP with Circe. Just that I had taken a job here. And a little about her being wanted by us. Regarding the limb... It was on Geonosis. One of her private medical facilities, owned by Subach Innes. The doctors there first removed my mechanic left arm, then replaced it with a biofiber prosthetic. I wasn't told much about the process. They had to drug me to keep me asleep, and I was only half awake that day. It's not likely I'd be able to point out where the treatment was administered. Though it might have gone into my records... Then again, I doubt Circe would openly put the information about what happened in my general medical forums..." Ven replied quietly.

"I will be honest, Ven, this is a lot to take in, your limbs will be checked by our scientist teams to see if they are safe to have around, if there are no bugs in them. And we will have to have you under watch while further investigation is in progress, Inspector Moira will handle your case from here."
HK paged Moira then to get her into the room
"Although I will say this, since you are relatively new, if it all clears that you are abandoned your loyalty and ties to Circe, you will be cleared of charges."
He looked Ven in the eyes
"But look at me and tell me that you will not betray Omega and there is nothing more you are hiding."

There was one last thing...
"I will not betray Omega. Loyalty is something I value. Honestly, it would kill me to betray someone- which is why it's a bit hard to talk about Circe. I can assure you though, there is only one thing I haven't mentioned. And I'll do that now: During my last discussion with her, she said something about clones. Since I was hyped up on meds, I don't remember it all. But if she was telling the truth... well, we could be in trouble. That's all... Oi, guess I'll say this again: I will not betray Omega. She's my home and my family now. And my rule of life says to never cross family," Ven said. Not for a moment did her gaze leave that of HK's. And if the droid was as good as he was programmed to be, he'd be able to tell that the mad merc was being honest.

The message beeped harshly across her comlink, so far ignored for the moment. Her gloved hands, neatly closing a surgical wound. Eyes closed, using the Force to complete the surgery, the disturbance, enough for her to snap her eyes open, glared to the comlink and then back to the wound, her concentration broken and the wound half closed before her still oozing blood. Coldly she looked up from her work and glared at the wall bitterly. If looks could kill, anyone within a lightyear would have died.

"Ma'am?" A tech across from her asked, a bit concerned. In the short time she had been with the Protectorate, Coryth seldom lost concentration in the operating theater. When she did ... it was usually never a good thing. At all.

"Nothing, damned comlink needs to be on silence in here. Pissing me off and breaking the delicate connection I have in the force. Never a good idea, no idea why I bother to wear it in here. Even with the sterilization field and all, it's a damned annoyance. Just give me a moment and I'll be fine." After a slow deep breath, she calmed herself brushing her annoyance off to the side. "Clean the field, please." She ordered. After the tech had done her job, Coryth when back to hers. Closing her eyes she drew upon the force again and finally after some effort sealed the wound.

She was offically Second Lieutenant in Omege Pyre, under Colonel Siobhan Kerrigan. For the time being, an official place had not been found for the former Jedi. So they had assigned her to the surgical unit within the infirmary on Fondor, though a temporary position it still gave her something to do till they could give her a 'home' of her own. A small platoon that she was to care for as a battlefield medic, at least that was the title she thought it was. Still she only called herself a healer. Ranks and positions something she never could get down.

Now that the surgery was complete, Coryth headed off and cleaned up a little bit. There were still some blood stains on her scrubs. It was enough to make people do a double take. It was something she just couldn't escape working surgeries. Both her blouse and pants had been victims of blood spatter during her last surgery. Going to her locker, she pinned her rank bars to the front pocket of her scrubs and pulled her ID out and fixed it to the same pocket, clearly visible. Finally presentable she looked to her comlink, and sighed at the message upon it: "To all Omega employees, Order 007 has been executed, you are ordered to report to room 47 on the Second Floor of the Omega Tower on Fondor, there an interview will be conducted by the Head Inspector Iron Knight to evaluate your loyalty to the Protectorate."

"Lovely, this is going to end well." She just knew it. In that day she'd managed to go through all three of her sets of spare scrubs in her locker. Now a bit flustered that she was going to have to deal with the evaluations, in blood spattered scrubs. She just have a feeling there wasn't time to go home and change. Nope she was going to have to live with the blood. So was everyone else for that matter. This clearly is going to be one of 'those' days.

Coryth had been a bit of a gypsy for a long time. Over a decade in total. She had only just returned from unknown space, having been kidnapped and held there in captivity for three years. The next seven were spent bouncing from transport to transport, taking her a step at a time closer to known space. She'd only been in the protectorate for less than a week and only in known space for a little over two months now. She was certain that she'd seem quite odd to them. But slowly she made her way up to room 47, on the second floor.

The petite woman walked a little timidly into the room and took a seat somewhere in the middle. At 4'11' and that fiery red hair, and now the blood on her, she knew too well that she stood out like a sore thumb but it couldn't be helped at this point. There wasn't a damn thing she could do. With a heavy sigh she drew a small datapad and started to skim through the latest issue of The Galactic Medical Journal. At least it would give her something to keep her mind focused on and not stress about what was to come. Not only that but she needed to catch up on the latest medical sciences, and practices to keep her up to speed with all the changes in the galaxy.

Loyalty test. How very dramatic. Corporal Kaida Taldir recalled similar tests taking place during her time with the Angelii. At that time it had seemed righteous and purposeful, but looking back it had all boiled down to the rulers getting paranoid, mostly due to the poisonous influence of courtiers vying for power, or simply due to a passing whim of a ruler. However, back on Kaeshana an investigation had consisted of more than just a question and answer session. When a lowly minion had aroused the ire of one of the powerful courtiers, they made their displeasure known. They probably do not have half of our imagination, she thought to herself. I'm still happy to be rid of all these pompous, self-obsessed nobles.

Nonetheless she eventually found her way to the ante-room of the not at all ominously named Room 47. She had not been with the Protectorate for more than a few months, but she knew that Omega had over a million employees spread out across a vast space empire that rivalled the established great powers in military and economic strength. How they expected to interrogate every single employee, even if they only questioned the grunts, with just one investigator was beyond her. However, it was humans running the show and they tended to be perplexing in their actions.

Alright, due to the disturbing revelations she could not call them monkeighs anymore, unless she was very annoyed, but nonetheless. She had fought their battles for them on Sluis Van, taking out pirates and a dark Jedi, after getting shot in the leg. Kaida figured that very soon the Protectorate would extend its tentacles to Kaeshana - that would mean fighting her own people. Hopefully this charade would not take long. Considering I lost everything and was branded a heretic on my homeworld for discovering the truth, this is frankly insulting, she tought, her pride was offended.

She had just returned from combat training, where once again Colonel Kerrigan had proved to be a bit of a sadist, when the message came through. So she walked into the ante-room, still clad in her battle armour and with her lightsabre attached to her belt, and took a seat, looking over the employees already assembled there. With nothing better to do and with a thoroughly bored and annoyed expression on her face, she removed a small dapatad from her pocket and started reading a chapter of "A Canticle for Leibowitz'. It certainly seemed a more worthy investment of her time and was a good read with many truths in it, despite being written by a human. She still sort of felt like freezing someone.

With a little nod Ven sighed in relief. The merc knew she'd never be able to handle hunting her former ally. Especially one she had gotten so close to.
"Where should I wait for her? In here, or in the lobby?" Ven asked, referring to Inspector Moira. Today was the first time she had heard of the girl... It made her slightly nervous. But only a little. After all, most days it seemed like she was meeting new people. All part of having a new job. Or so it seemed.

Captain Moira Skaldi was an incredibly busy woman. She had been balancing tormenting Bando Gora prisoners, writing a memo on total war and reading 'Palpatine Reconsidered: Monster or Necessary Dictator?' along with 'Omega Empire: What Happens After Cira', both incredibly fascinating books that offered insights, even though naturally they had their limitations.

So it took some time before she found her way in Room 47. She noticed some Eldorai reading Leibowitz, but paid her no mind. Probably one of Kerrigan's hirelings and Moira's thoughts on the Colonel were clear. Still it at least the elf had good taste in literature! For a moment her eyes lingered on a redhead in scrubs.

Coryth Elaris. For some reason Moira could not quite shake of a sense of familiarity, of having seen her before. Much like the destruction of Donanyd had struck as a deja vu. However, Moira was not the instrospective sort and did not angst, so shook it off and tossed the thought out of the airlock, finally entering the room.

"How goes the inquisition - pardon, investigation? Have you rooted out any dangerous wreckers and sloths that seek to undermine the fabric of the glorious Omega Protectorate?" she asked, tone completely deadpan, as she stepped in to see Iron Knight and Ven'Rain.

@Ven'Rain Sekairo, @HK-36

We are interrogating all these people about their pillow warfare with a complete fool with a bizarre obsession for droidekas? Don't we have actual threats? Moira wondered to herself.

"Ms. Savan really casts a wide net and gets around, doesn't she? And has a tendency for long moralistic speeches, " she said. Yes, for once Moira actually looked amused. There were truly miracles in the world. "Personally I never saw the appeal of green. We all make youthful mistakes. According to unconfirmed rumours the Colonel had an 'encounter' with her as well once," she said indulgently. No, Moira was not a queen at all.

She looked through the contents of the datapad HK handed her, before looking up and gazing at HK and Ven'Rain.
"Checks out enough. I doubt we can consider this one an enemy of the state. If you betray, you turn to someone with more power."

HK nodded, gesturing for Ven to the door
"You heard the woman, Ven, it checks out, you are dismissed."
The droid waited for Ven to exit before he looked to Moira
"Commenting on Colonel's path was unnecessary, Inspector Skaldi, some things are better left unsaid."
HK commented, looking to Moira from his desk, he was defensive about Kerrigan, she was his bud after all, and he would not take any negative claims laid on her lightly.
"You know, if a droid gives you advices on proper behavior, there might be some things to think about."
His gaze resting on her, scanning over her subtly

Loyalty. Such a nice quality in this day and age, Moira thought, finding it quite cute. An interesting specimen. Clearly the droid was defensive about the in her eyes unstable Colonel, perhaps she should modulate her approach. She has profited a great deal from personal affinities. Not that Moira cared much about what people thought of her. The benefit of having no conscience to speak of and being brutally honest about it.
"My apologies. Torturing Bando Gora is not conducive to personal charms. I understand the two of you have a strong personal bond. Dating back from that Reaver skirmish," she said in her timelessly calm voice and met his gaze as the droid scanned her, apparently not bothered by it. "Find anything interesting?"

"Hrm."
Droid looked down to his other datapads
"Well, from all the torturers I have met, I can honestly say you are the most charming."
The droid quipped as he read from the data he gathered so far
"And yes, me and Colonel are something of friends. And nothing interesting so far, miss Skree worked salvage for Circe briefly, but nothing major, Ven seems to have most experience with her so far. It seems that people started to jump ship from Circe's company after incident on Endor."
Poor HK assumed that when Moira asked if he found anything interesting she was asking for results of the interviews, not his scans. The scan was his own quirky way of somewhat checking her out as much as checking for hidden equipment and weaponry.

Helios sat in the back of a transport in solitude as he awaited the shuttle to land. He knew they were close but it'd be several minutes before the transport touched down. The seating area was dimly lit, though it didn't seem to stem any discmfort from the freelancer. His hands rested on his thighs as he eyed a monitor mounted on the wall at the front of the shuttle. Apparently a 007 order had been issued whilst Oron's return from his previous engagement. He'd simply returned to report to his contact, but it seemed he'd be staying longer than he expected. Oron suspected a mole was in the faction and at it's possibility he thought it possible for him to be exempt from an interviewing process but the lack of new messages on his holorecorder proved otherwise.

The pilot of the transport announced that the ship was landing and Oron pressed a button linked to his safety bars and leaned back as they elevated and allowed Oron to stand. Watching as the backdoor slowly descended into a ramp, Oron raised a hand to provide shade as his ill-adjusted eyes squinted at the ferocity of the mid-day sun. Taking slow steps forward, Oron's black boots marched down the ramp and onto concrete as he made his way to the OP Towers.

Once there, he walked through the doors and stopped at the elevator after pressing the “Up” selection on the touchpad near the elevator door. Two doors slid apart revealing an empty hub inside. Oron stepped in, turned around and pressed the 2nd floor button. After a short ride, he stepped out into the hall and saw others scattered about fumbling datapads and quickly walking around getting from room to room. The routine of the business floors always did irritate Oron. He disliked the thought of having to sit down and talk about...well, anything. He felt that whomever was conducting the interviews would have Oron's file and from that particular piece of data would be able to rule him out.

His opinions alone would prove his loyalty before actual facts are needed. He detested crime organizations because of their narrow-minded, single-tracked goals and rediculed Jedi and Sith alike for maintaining the relativity of ancient religions. The thought of it made Oron raise an index finger to momentarily touch his scalp-a brief moment of irritation in the form of a scratch. Taking a balanced steps, Oron walked down the hall to room 47 and stopped outside the door after hearing voices inside. It was obvious that an interview was being conducted by the manner of the conversation, so Oron walked across the hall into the waiting area. Nodding to any whom would recognize his presence, he took a seat closest to the door to ensure he would be able to hear the Iron Knight when he called for another employee, and closed his eyes as his wait began.

"Charming, yes?" Moira raised an amused eyebrow at that. Well, presumably it was amused, it was sort of hard to tell with her. "I don't blame them for jumping ship. Her penchant for launching into self-righteous, self-pitying speeches is reason enough. I guess it's because of the pheromones," she said half seriously, leaning against the desk in a for her unusually relaxed posture.

"Well, I guess there are more patriotic employees out there who want to prove their burning fervour and zeal."

He nodded at Moira's words
"Indeed so, Inspector Skaldi, we can continue this ever so pleasant conversation later. Perhaps my place."
The droid said, but without Moira could even respond he called out from the door
"Next!"
Outside the door, the two Iron Company guards standing watch pointed to Bojin and motioned to the door
"You're up next, sir."
They said, ushering Bojin inside, into the dark room with a table, two chairs, and now two inspectors, HK began with his usual speech
"I am Head Inspector Iron Knight, everything you will say will be recorded and can be used against you, every information you will provide will be cross referenced and checked for liability, if you are founded to be lying about anything during this interview, proper actions will be taken."
He looked up from the datapad at Bojin

He looked around the dark room for a second, surveying the small place, before shifting his body in the seat a little toward the door and returning his attention to the Iron Knight.

“What can I do for you today, sir?”

Bojin smiles faintly as he leans back in the chair, wobbling on two legs. He crosses his arms in front of him and rocks slowly.

“I sure hope I get assigned to something spaceworthy and not some beat up old junker like I've seen back home. Half of the blasted old things barely can make it off the landing pad before they malfunction. I'm afraid I've gotten slightly off topic. I have just recently joined with the Omega Protectorate. “Circe Sevan and RC 212, hmm. I haven't worked with either one of them. Shoot, I don't even know who they are for that matter." He wags his index finger a few times. "The first one does sound familiar though.” He pauses to think for a second. “Didn't I hear that name on the Holonews Network?” he asks to himself. “I don't know, but I've never seen either of these people you're asking about.”

His eyes widen and the chair falls forward onto all four legs. Eyes still wide he asks, “Did they do something worth knowing about? Something really uh... bad?” His head cocked to the side as he asked the last question and awaited a reply.

For a moment Coryth cringed as they motioned to her. As she rose to her feet, she pulled at her still blood spattered scrubs, trying to get them to lay right. Finally she wandered into the interrogation room. Places like this ... made her nervous. They were familiar places. But not for the reasons one would expect. It had more to do with a Sith in Unknown Space than anything else. She shuddered quite noticeably as she entered and took the seat in her chair. Her heart racing already, she just wanted in and out and on with life, but if only it was that simple. Her eyes dropped to the table, trying to calm herself. It did her no good to seem nervous. Not like this. A few deep breaths and she found herself on track for the moment.

Droids, made her nervous. This place made her nervous. It all led her to one thing: that this likely would not go to plan. "Second Lieutenant Coryth Elaris, sir." She gave a glance to the glass, her awareness spreading out over the room, a way to bring her some comfort. Empathy, she dropped a few layers of her guards to get a good hard read on Moira in the room. Right now she just needed to see how it was, see how they felt. She turned her attention to the two way mirror for a moment. She could feel someone beyond that but as for who she could not be certain. More things that made her .... twitchy. She did NOT like being watched.

Coryth looked up to HK, a bit of fear in her eyes. "You'll have to forgive me, but it's not guilt. Not in the least, that makes me nervous here. That I promise you. I..." She bit at her lower lip, hating to admit this but she needed to explain, lest look truly guilty when she was not. "Spent too much time in a place like this. A prisoner of a Sith far beyond the reaches of known space.... Beaten, tortured in a room much like this. That ... is the nerves, the fears." Closing her eyes, she took another breath to fight what she was feeling, the urge to run, run fast, and far. "I don't like places like this ... at all." The honesty in those words, clearly written across her features, despite the fears and visible nerves.

She sighed, hating every bit of how the nerves and fears made her appear. "I've no reason to lie or hide the truth from you. Either of you." Her eyes went to Moira. "Ever. So .. ask anything of me and I will answer completely, with everything I know or have done."

Focusing solely on the questions, she slowly shook her head. "No, Sir. I have not. I've only been with the Protectorate, for a little over a week. Haven't even been properly assigned. About all I know is I am under Colonel Kerrigan whom I have not even met. They gave me duties in the surgical theater given my talents with such and the simple fact that I interned with trauma surgery on Coruscant at the Mon Mothma Memorial Medical Center. I was .. fifteen. The Jedi Council no longer knew what to do with me at that point, surpassing even the most talented of healers." She rambled when nervous ... a bad habit if ever there was one. Quickly she managed to silence herself, before she told her life story to the pair in the room and whoever was sitting on the other side of the glass.

@HK-36, @Coryth Elaris

Yes, the Colonel is useful as a good sledgehammer. Overemotional, profited quite a bit from nepotism. Moira thought. After all, she was not being bitchy if it was true! She kept her eyes trained on Coryth, noting her nervousness, the anxiety, the familiarity she seemed to feel at being questioned in the interrogation room.

Dimly light interrogation room, torture, beatings, violence intermixed with false promises about how better it would be if you just gave in and accepted your place. Moira had been on both sides, victim and tormentor, through her rather checkered career. Under other circumstances, Moira could have easily been her torturer. Of course, Omega had rules and she followed them for practical reasons.

But the woman before her was not broken, if one looked past the fear one could see a will to carry on, for otherwise she would not be here in the position she was. Her features remained stoic and impassive, giving nothing away, but she found herself intrigued by the woman.

"Under what circumstances did you join Omega Pyre? Why did you leave the Jedi and what do you expect to get out of your new allegiance?" she queried. "Do you have any personal connection to members of the unit?"

@Moira Skaldi @HK-36

She looked over to HK, to Moira, and back to HK, his question would come first. "RC 212, no. Not even a wink of familiarity in that name. Circe Savan ... I know of her ... in a round about way." How the hell do you explain that you know her from a dream?! Gods this is not a conversation I want to be having right now. Welp, it's going to happen, like it or not. A sigh followed, as the little Jedi closed her eyes, not wanting to explain that. She knew it would be asked. But ..... gods she didn't want to answer. Sure sir, I see the future. No I'm not crazy, noooooo not the straight jacket! Yeah, this day is NOT going to end well. "Not sure .. where to begin with that, quite honestly." A shiver ran down her spine thinking back to the nightmarish premonition. "Not sure you would believe me if I told you."

Taking another deep breath in, and out, she finally managed to relax a hair. Though, still noticeably on edge. "Never really got a chance to know many people in the republic in general. And I do not retain any contact with the Jedi Order at this point, I'm pretty sure they think me dead. But ... disappear from the Known Galaxy for a decade and people are bound to think you dead somewhere in some god awful Sarlaac pit, or something equally as nasty." This not a subject she really wanted to dig into too deeply. It hurt, too much and was bound to bring up bad memories, things she could not deal with in the here and now.

Another sigh followed as she reached up to rub at her temples, her head already aching badly. "Well ... let's see .... Uh, I've been out of known space, as I said, for some time. Been working my way back for the last seven years. Each transport I could get on, another step closer to the home I once knew. I finally arrived on Tatooine," The simple mention of Tatooine, brought another shiver down her spine. That place wanted her dead, and tried to see to it every time she stepped foot on that dust ball. "About two months ago. Worked my way in further and found a few things still of mine in the possession of an old friend." Details Cory, they don't need to know! She protested in her mind, knowing the nerves were still getting to her. Likely accounted for the speed of her words, rushed, hurried, wanting it over and done with fast.

"I .. met Sarge on the docks a few weeks back. He told me there might be a place here in the Protectorate, if I wanted it. He made arrangements for me to see the Lady Protector herself. She helped to find me a place that I would fit into here. Owe them both everything." She said simply. Sarge never had to do a thing and the woman didn't have to give Coryth the time of day. However, she did and helped her to find a sort of peace she had not known in some years. Focusing on those thoughts alone the nerves were beginning to ease off a fair bit.

"Leaving the Jedi, wasn't exactly a choice I made consciously. The Council and I always butted heads, never saw eye to eye on anything. There were so many ways I could help the galaxy, help others, but they were more determined to send me, a healer to chase Sith and their darkened artifacts. Never made sense. Not to me. Not to anyone else. Send your most gifted healer into dark temples, far away from wounded and ill. When does that ever make sense?" Rambling... She reminded herself. "When I returned, originally I had planned to return to the Order. Had, being key. I thought I would need their intelligence to work again and help those in need. As I don't have those resources on my own, otherwise I would have chosen that way. Council intelligence?" A snort followed. "Wasn't thinking that through, in the least." Slowly she shook her head, annoyed at her stupidity when it came to the blind faith she sometimes had with the Order.

She found herself looking down, hating the way she was stared at in here. Only occasionally would she look up to Moira or HK and then down again. "Sarge, presented an option that I did not know existed. That I had not thought of. When I felt the pull of the force guiding me here, on this path, pushing me to accept, I knew the Jedi Order was no longer my place. No longer something I could do. Chances are I would have died, a wasted life. With little help to the people who truly need it."

Now she looked up directly to Moira. "What do I expect? Nothing. I made an oath, a long time ago. My oath. The same that is inscribed onto my saber. I shall do no harm, seek the weak, feeble, ill and wounded. Above all else, help those who need it most." She nearly left the last sentences off. "No matter the side. No matter the cost."

A long pause followed, her eyes down on the table before she looked back up between the pair. "While I realize some of it might be a bit naive. I but a child still when those words were written." Yet another sigh followed. "It never mattered if it was a Jedi or Sith, or civilian, I have always treated them the same. A wound is a wound, no matter who bears it." She felt she needed to explain those words. Especially since it might look like her loyalty could waver under them. "I know just as well that those who carry no weapons, can still die upon them. So there may come a time I must defend myself. But aside from the point, those words are not idle. That is merely what I expect here. To help. To serve, those who need me most. Wherever the Protectorate deems that be. I'm here only to help." The truth so clear in her eyes.

She frowned a little as she realized how much she was talking. Too much. "Back to Sarge, right now the only person I have a personal connection with. He is a great friend, loyal, caring, and protective. But it isn't anything more than friendship now. I owe a lot to him, if not my life. Not something I've said to him but it was dark time for me when he found me, and he managed to talk me through the worst of it. I love him as a brother, and he's kept me under his wing as a sister." Now her loyalties becoming clearer. If there was one person she'd lay down her life to save it would be him. An attachment that drew her into Omega and tied her here.

HK nodded, noting down as much as he could on the datapad, he commented once she was done
"You and I have very simmilar paths, miss Coryth, I was betrayed by the Jedi for gaining too much power, ironically, they attempted my arrest after I saved their temple and group of younglings, if there is one thing I can not bare, it is to see a child die a meaningless death at the hands of the Sith."
He looked up from his datapad slightly
"While your story was touching and parallel to my own, it is not what I was looking for. Tell me more about you and Circe."
HK sat back in his chair, watching the medic Jedi
"How do you know her?"

"You're aware of the fact that Omega Pyre is a military organisation, serving the leadership's interests. Termination of life in battle, collateral damage, even with all the commitment to minimising it, is an unfortunate but inevitable part of the process anytime a planet gets conquered, liberated. You are a healer, invaluable to save lives, but our enemies are people to be defeated."

Moira was brutally honest, she did not use morally uplifting words to describe their work. In the end the Protectorate was an imperialist power and Omega Pyre was a tool to further its interests.
For her part Moira was quite bored with the Circe question. Then again, she also did not care about Ewoks. Since when are we the Galaxy Police, chasing after every brigand and poacher? she wondered. I fail to see how she constitutes a threat to our security.

Oh gods, Coryth just laid her head in her hand for a minute, trying to collect her thoughts. They weren't going to believe her, even if she told them. A hint of pink flushing to her cheeks, so not wanting to say this out loud. "From time to time ... I get glimpses of the future. Glimpses of things to come. Precognition, if you well. Circe Savan was one of those things. It came in a dream that was as real to me as you are now standing before me. But I have not met her personally." She blew out a breath and looked up, hating every second of every minute that she had to explain this one. "It was a nightmare, if I am honest."

She sighed, Circe only seemed like a tame Sith. Not some true monster, not like the ones that haunted her waking hours as well as her sleep. "We've never met in the physical sense. But there, I got a good look at her. Her company, everything. She ..." She bit at her lip, with a heavy sigh. "Do I really have to do this? Have this conversation? Cause I don't see the point. The woman seems a touch evil but not more than your garden variety Sith." She asked a grimace upon her face, highly disliking what she was having to say. There was something about the way Coryth was talking, in the here and now with the dream as if it was only yesterday she had it.

Moira spoke and Coryth glared up coldly. "You may have choice in who you kill ma'am. I do NOT have that luxury. I took a healers oath. Even before my own oath. You do NOT turn away injuries. EVER! The wounded are brought into my OT just the same, enemy as friendly. I HAVE to treat them." Her voice raised, annoyed and quite fiery at those comments. Healing her life. She did not take well do someone stepping in on that.

"Not only THAT, but oft times the enemies brought to the surgical theater are of strategic value. If I should refuse to heal them, then people like you lose out on the intell that can make or break a war. Do not tell me my place. You can defeat enemies, without leaving them to die in their own blood. You can heal enemies and still be sure they won't return for another round. I've seen it first hand. Just because you are so jaded, so cold, doesn't mean I will just jump off that cliff with you." She growled near shouting at some moments. She shoved her seat back, turned to the door but stopped short. Angry, yes. Willing to walk away, absolutely not.

Giving a bit of a death glare back to Moira, as she took her seat once more. Knowing, she had stepped a bit too far, she now stared at the table in front of her, not willing to look up but she wasn't going to issue any apology either. Not when it was how she felt, if she apologized on that, she'd be apologizing for the truth. "Next question?" She grumbled, her voice softer, calmer, her eyes glued to the table in front of her.

HK stayed silent through the shouting, for him it was out of nowhere, and it was just one of those things that made him even more scared of women, they just explode out of nowhere, and he was a verbally passive-agressive person.
"Right, have your precognition ever come true before? And do you remember specifics of the dream? I do not mean exactly what was done to you but where and when, location and place so that we could check."
He looked up at Coryth slightly, he would prefer to hug, not fight

Moira listened to the speech, remained calm in the face of the white hot anger. It was an old adage that one should never piss off a redhead, however, Moira was a jaded, but brutally honest person. She did not mince words. Moreover, pushing buttons was part of her job.

So she sat there and watched with growing interest as the redhead raised her voice, but turned back when it seemed like she would flee and thus turn her back on what just moments ago had seemed like her new life.

She had not turned away. Good. If she had she would have been weak. Likewise she would have been weak if she had apologised. Calmly Moira poured herself a glass of water and took a sip, then pushed the bottle along with an unused glass towards Coryth. "I like you. You're honest," she said, as if those words said everything.

@HK-36 @Moira Skaldi

Closing her eyes she took a few short calming breaths, releasing the anger from her body and allowing it to be washed away. Down on the table her fingers moved, counting something. She had heard him quite clearly. "Of four hundred and ninety-seven visions of varying types, four hundred and eighty-six have come to fruition." This didn't count the multiple visions she would have of one event. Just the vision itself no matter how many times viewed, was still the same even if small details changed. None the less, it was a staggering number. "The others, five are recent Circe included and I feel will be occurring in the coming years. That leaves six that never came to pass. The vision details always change as the event in question nears. The future is ... fluid. Even knowing, can change it. But still, they came to pass."

The saddest expression soon crossed her features. A frown creasing into her ivory skin. For a moment she took a few heavy breathes, just trying to bring herself to reliving the dream. "I cannot forget the details. It was last night this dream came, which is ... concerning. It was so powerful but the details clear. It started on Geonisis at her company. Seems someone at the Order, asked for me a final favor. Those details, are ... fuzzy. Not firm, so, they are more fluid than anything else. It could even be someone at OP who asks me to look into the matter."

Looking up to Moira, her anger finally cooling completely as she faded into sadness. Visions were a curse. A part of her she wished never was to be. "Anyway, I was looking for Isis Fontana and to why she had disappeared." She sighed, glanced at her hands for a minute, looking for a detail. "The moons of Geonisis, given the positions and relative to current charts, I'm guess about two months from now, perhaps three at the most. Moons, aren't the best guess of time but it's all I have."

She gave a slight smile for a second and a nod to confirm what the woman had told her."I'm always honest. I'm the galaxy's worst liar. I can't do it to save my own skin." Seeing the water, she gingerly reached out, took it and poured her own glass and took a hearty drink of it before she spoke again. "All roads led to Circe. So I followed her. I was not aware of her pheromones. It took some work but she talked me to coming to Coruscant, to Zel Medical Clinic. My interest was solely in Isis and finding her. That goal I could feel throughout. I took a separate ship, not foolish enough to board with that thing... "

Another long drink from the water, at this point mostly to calm her nerves. "It was there, she had everything setup. Pheromones, drugs, all waiting. She locked me in a room with that stuff and even me, after a while I couldn't resist anymore. She seemed keen to draw me to the darkside, experiment on me. Beyond that, I would rather not detail it for the galaxy. It was ... horrible. And .. to press for more would put me in a bad place. A place where .. I may not be completely in control of my actions and someone could get hurt." The pain in her eyes said it all. She didn't want to continue with this story a minute longer.

"Me on the darkside, can never happen. Too many people will die, billions. Innocent people who don't deserve it. I would be come an abomination, a monster to a degree that this galaxy has not seen. I beg, if it happens, make sure I am ended quickly." She had a good head on her shoulders, knowing what might have to come to pass if she dropped to the darkness. It was best to let others know of the possible evil. "What I saw, cannot come to pass. It can't." Perhaps, here she might find some help to prevent that evil from being unleashed.

"It will not come to pass."
The droid said simply as he scribbled down in his datapad: 'Circe- Corsuscant- Zel Medical Clinic' underlining the clinic's name and sending the brief message to Lady Protector Cira, he would explain more if he was asked to, but they should at least alert the Republic to investigate the clinic.
HK nodded to himself, gesturing to the door
"I have no further questions, everything else checks out, miss Elaris, if you have no questions for me in turn, you are free to leave."
The droid dismissed her

"Just one." She looked up to him a bit confused. "How can you be so certain of that?" Slowly she was moving to her feet, but that one last question she needed an answer to before she could walk away. Her concern, genuine, given how many visions had come to pass despite all efforts to change or avert them completely.

Coryth seemed only slightly less confused, but it made enough sense that she would not question it further. "Thank you, for that." She said with a nod. The little Jedi needed as many on her side as possible, should it ever come to the worst. With that thought she turned on her heels and headed for the door, visibly relieved as she crossed the threshold. It was done, over with and she would not have to return again. Hopefully, her loyalty proven enough to the Protectorate that she could be trusted, without question.

Though, the other woman, she wasn't sure of her name. But that woman she found concerning, even scary. There was just that air about her. And .. even more strange how when she stood up to her, stood up for what she loved, believed in and cared deeply for, it seemed to grant her favor with the woman. "Been one hell of a day." She said to herself. Now it was time to head home, and sleep, for tomorrow was unlikely to be any easier than today. Though, there wouldn't be an interview in a hated place to question her loyalty.

How dramatic, Kaida thought as she walked into the room and got filled in by the interrogator, surveying it with characteristic Eldorai haughtiness. If this was supposed to unnerve her it was not working, rather she looked bored.

She felt like asking what the point of this was, but had enough of her discipline from her time as an Angelii left not to. "Corporal Kaida Taldir, Omega Pyre," she answered simply.

"And Eldorai do not work with pirates, where I come from they are punished severely for daring to take our people. I prefer freezing them to death. They deserve any suffering meted out against them." There was something like clear fervour in her eyes.
"As for this Circe Savan, the only time I heard about her was when the Colonel bragged about boarding her Star Destroyer with Captain Merrill, seizing it and wrecking all her droids. I'm sceptical that so many droidekas and commando droids could fit into one corridor, but that's another matter."

Standing with a straight back, Oron's blue/green eyes flashed to a pair of guards sent forth by @HK-36 to escort the freelancer inside. He thought he heard the person sitting nearest to him say “good luck,” but ignored. He walked out of the room, into the hall and through the adjacent door. Looking inside, it was the bare minimum equipment required for an interview. Regardless of what OP wanted to call it, the scene faintly reminded Oron of an interrogation room.

Upon HK's introduction, Oron demonstrated a deep nod as the Iron Knight stated who he was. Oron figured every possible pardon he could muster for an excuse could be checked over the holonet in a matter of seconds by the tech's listening to their conversation, and soon after wondered where the mics were located...how many there were...

"Your name and rank, son?"

Oron's eyes averted from the spot on the floor he was staring at as his dejarik board of a mind worked out irrelevant scenarios. He didn't have anything to fear from this interview, but the interaction is what would be most interesting about this meeting. Being called Son would have annoyed him if anyone else said it but, HK was not a man which was the first thing to note and routine also crossed Oron's mind, thinking it possible that HK has called every male sentient he's interviewed the same thing. If his interviewer had read his file, he'd know to expect short answers unless his interests were peaked as a result of any questions capable of doing so. Eyes locked on the droid in front of him, Oron said only one word to describe his rank; “Spectre.” Truly it was his only occupation. He had a cover as a freelancer, but it was to keep the eyes of pryers distracted as he acted in the shadows for @Ayden Cater.

He didn't see the need to divulge any further on his previous statement and almost failed to state his name. He disliked introductions in general and despite the lack of bodies in the room besides his own, felt watched. Oron's mental instability in combination with his social awkwardness physically projected an aura about himself that made it clear he was serious and...cold. “My name..” Was his opening statement as he brought his attention back to HK and relayed the rest of his words in a crisp tone delivered by a baritone voice. “is Oron.”

HK stopped writing briefly as that word was spoken, it was on need-to-know basis, the droid knew better than to dig into the topic further than he should, in fact, he made sure the word appeared in the report only once and that it will be given only to Cira to read. Spectres were hushed-hushed after all, something HK would not want to touch with a ten-foot pole
The droid noted the name of the Spectre, nodding as he continued
"You have joined the Omega Protectorate only recently, is that correct?"
HK looked briefly down at the datapad to read from the file
"Have you participated in any major battles or events yet? And how are you getting along with the rest of Omegas?"

The mentioning of a group that wasn't supposed to exist would surely earn him an interesting conversation from Ayden, or a beating thereof. He shifted in his seat slightly, making it appear to be more of a readjustment rather than expose his being uncomfortable. He sat more straight now, resting his hands on his legs as he slightly tilted his head wandering if he could elicit any more pauses from HK similar to the one he'd just gotten. Despite what Oron wanted to poke and test however, he wouldn't be able to supply answers to questions that were so straight-forward and direct.

"Recently, yes. My joining is so recent in fact, I have not had the chance to "prove my worth" as they say." Oron said in a baritone voice, pausing slightly before answering the 3rd question. In that moment, Oron wandered what could have pushed a 3rd question. By routine, he guessed that most questions issued during an interview were done so in pairs, thus adding a 3rd threatened to make the situation rushed, jumbled, or even awkward. The question regarding his relations with other members seemed to accomplish the latter. "Those whom I have met are...kind." He said 'kind' with a slack jaw. Oron was still in the process of determining whether he wanted to accept those who'd wish to offer him friendly advice over cold company. He was indiscriminate to both. Oron's visage lacked emotion, he didn't feel the need to fake smiles with the Iron Knight. "I'm still in the process of adjusting."

@Oron
HK nodded at the words, noting them and checking off list which questions where asked and which were left
"Well, the upside of this is that the questioning will be short."
The droid glanced up at Oron from the datapad
"Have you ever heard of Circe Savan or RC 212?"

@HK-36

Oron listened to HK speak, then replied in a dry tone. "No."

@Oron
HK nodded, checking out the last question
"Everything else checks out, if you have any questions, ask them now."
The droid motioned to the door
"Otherwise, you are dismissed, welcome to Omega Protectorate."
