Outbound Flight is a frontier survival/cosmic horror project set in the Unknown Regions and inspired by source material like the Alien franchise, Death Stranding, Scavengers Reign, and the Expanded Universe novel Death Troopers. On the raggedy edge of our known galaxy - space is dark and full of terrors. Supernovae, black holes, and rogue gravity wells make navigation computers unreliable. Hyperspace journeys must rely on individuals gifted with precognition or else risk hazardous jump-by-jump routes. Fallen civilizations curse dead moons with their unnatural ruins while centuries old ghost ships drift between savage stars. This far from the Core Worlds no one can hear you scream.

The Outbound Flight Program launches expeditions to chart the Unknown Regions’ blackest depths from old Alliance stations like Outlander and Far Cradle. Explorers routinely hire force sensitive contractors from the Navigator's Guild to help guide their starships through the great hyperspace tangle. Our brightest minds study the ancient Gree hypergate network in a childish attempt to unlock their infinite secrets. Once an agency funded by Senate decree, Outbound Flight has grown desperate for new investors to keep the missions running.

I've been desperately wanting to write some horror in the Unknown Regions. Been mostly trying to figure it out with my Sith Lord here, but I thought to myself the other day it would be better to write from the perspective of a character experiencing the horrors, rather than a character who arguably is a horror themselves. Your timing with this is impeccable, this gives me exactly the outlet I need for that, and I would love to write a new character for this.
