Kay-Larr
Sphaera Tea Company Owner
[member="Sempra the Hutt"]
The White Palace on Sriluur was unlike any palace that Lady Kay had ever seen before. The newly appointed COO of ArmaTech had landed in her small diplomatic transport vessel on a nearby landing pad. Having given her reasons for being there when her vessel approached, her pilot and bodyguard Alex had been given clearance to land.
Both women were a stark contrast to eachother. Whereas Lady Kay was dressed elegantly like a diplomat should, minus her well worn satchel that never left her side, Alex was dressed in Mandalorian armour with her blasters and the like that never left her side. In the years since her exile from the Jedi Order, Lady Kay had gotten used to dressing like a simple merchant as she roamed the Galaxy unnoticed by her enemies and keeping her Force use to a bare minimum. But now that she was a COO, she had to dress the part. Her satchel might seem a bit out of place, but she didn't care. It contained her commlink and datapad, a pair of slacks and shirt, her kettle and tea cup, a supply of food and water rations, as well as her brass hilted lightsaber and small blaster. All the bare essentials that one would require for a small journey.
Although she was dressed to impress, she didn't carry with her a sense of arrogance. She didn't see herself as better than anyone else, even with her new position. That tended to work in her favour when negotiating. But this venture wasn't completely a business trip so much as it was personal. She wanted intel on Sempra's organization which could be put to use in the future. And what better way to get that than to visit and see it all with her own eyes?
Two crew members remained on board of the vessel while Lady Kay and Alex strode up to the White Palace. Both of them took note of the slave ship not far away, reminding them of the type of organization that they were dealing with. They also took note of the tribes of Weequays living and working in the area. They were known for their brutality too.
As the two women approached the Palace they were of course stopped by the guards, which was to be expected. Lady Kay introduced herself and had them pass along the message that they wished to have an audience with Sempra. In the back of her mind she had hoped that her new boss wouldn't disapprove, but it was no different than the kinds of diplomatic missions that she had done in the past with her late husband. Oh how she wished that he were with her right now, for he knew how to better handle a Hutt than she did. As they waited to be let in, she silently promised herself to make her late husband proud and not get herself into trouble.
