Work In Progress Installation Seven-Two

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: This submission will be used for future roleplay, and serve as a base of operations for the Silver Jedi Concords Shadows
  • Image Credit: Pod Image , Pod Image , Pod Image , Pod Image , Pod Image , Pod Image
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: [Please link any Marketplace purchase or similar approvals to use other Writers’ content as part of this submission.]

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Military Base Name: Seven-Two - Nest - The Drain (Mostly referred to by Seven-Two)
  • Classification: Subterranean Military Installation /Fallout Shelter / Vault
  • Location: Kashyyyk - Several hundred meters below Silver Rest
  • Affiliation: Silver Jedi Concord (Extremely Select amount of individuals know about its existence)
  • Population: Military Personnel, Jedi Shadow Operatives, and Security Droids
  • Demographics: Shadow Operatives, Sparse Military Personnel, Heavy Security Droid Presence, Temple Guard
  • Accessibility: This Location has three "entrances". The most used being a Turbolift from Silver Rest, that must be manipulated by holding a series of keys, which will prompt a twenty digit passcode to be entered, if entered correctly; the elevator will begun a descent to the Seven-Two, which is roughly one hundred meters below the actual installation of Silver Rest. The Second is an exit only bulkhead door used to emergencies, that would lead out into the underbelly of Kashyyyk. This route is dangerous for a multitude of reasons; and is to be used only in emergency situations. Once this door is breached, it would need to be reinstalled; and is built in a way that suggests it was never meant to be opened. The third route is via a wide hangar bay door that hides below a waterfall; this allows the base inhabitants to arrive, or leave without prying eyes. Each of these locations has their own standalone security systems, ensuring if one falls, the others will still be active.
  • Description: The base doesn't look like anything too out of the ordinary. Coming off of the Turbolift, there is the eerie sound of empty space, white lights, and for most people who manage to get here by some random mistake, this is as far as they'll ever make it... Or die.
POINTS OF INTEREST

Stepping off of the Turbo-Lift, you are greeted with an apparently empty hallway. Stepping Forward, you may even be confused as to what it is you're looking at. If you made it this far, you should've had a directive to not turn around, but if you did, you would notice the entrance to the turbo-lift you got off of is... Gone. Not to mention, you would've been greeted by a quite unwelcoming voice, telling you not to deviate, and maintain walking straight. When you got to the end of the hallway, you might stand there for a moment, and a partition would open, revealing either a guard, or security droid; they will be direct, and will answer no questions; if you bother them, they would likely just ask if you know why you're there. If you don't know, then you will be asked to turn around, and leave the way you came. In any case, at this pod you will be relieved of your weapons; unless you are a Shadow of course, or a very high ranking Master Jedi; high ranking as in a GrandMaster of the Order caliber Jedi. Other Jedi, including Knights will need to empty anything from their pockets; Anything, After which they will be scanned for compliance. If this is done, a Holo-document will appear on the screen with the following

Shadow Initiative Non-Disclosure Agreement & Notice of Civil Freedoms

1. You will refer to no one by name, you will be given a nametag with a moniker on this visit, this is your name while you're within the confines of this space. Failure to deviate from this directive will be met with reprimand, repeated infractions will be met with removal from these premises.

2. The Installation you are about to enter is a military installation, housing sensitive information; nothing you see, hear, touch, or smell may be repeated, recreated, or described in any manner whatsoever; whether by use of the Force, voice, writing, or any other means of communication. Failure to adhere to this directive may be met with fines, hostile force, imprisonment, or all of the aforementioned.

3. By accepting this form you understand that you relinquish your governmental rights to some extent; such as the right to privacy, the right of free movement, and the right to communicate in some instances; Those in authoritative positions may demand anything of you to ensure the quality of information within this building, you are required to acquiesce any and all directives. Failure to do so will be met with fines, hostile force, imprisonment, or all of the aforementioned.

4. You agree to follow the directions of all staff within this installation immediately, and without delay. Failure to do so will be met with hostile force, or imprisonment.

5. If you feel as though you have been treated unfairly, or have suffered grievous violations of your Civil Freedoms, approach any member of staff, and say the words. 'Wookie Party'. Say them now to the Desk Clerk to verify you understand. Abuse of this phrase may be met with Fines, Hostile Force, Imprisonment, or all of the aforementioned.

6. Force-Sensitive Individuals are required to maintain decorum, and not interfere with anything unless specifically given the authority to do so, deviations from this directive WILL be met with immediate hostile action.

If you make it through this short list, and haven't lost your stomach, there is a portion that requires a thumbprint. Once you've given it, The person manning the booth will swipe it away, welcoming you into a place called The Nest. Those that visit this place will only ever be able to refer to this place as The Nest, unless they learn of another designation for it from a ranking member; that in of itself may be another issue.

There isn't much in this base with a clear name, but the first thing one sees coming out of Pod. 0, is a rather regular looking open area. There are several stations, and most people that are visiting the Seven-Two will never go anywhere but here. Even a Master Jedi, or a Shadow with low level clearance for that matter would require real-time authentication from at least two Security team personnel for travel to another unit. The only person who can move unimpeded here is a Master Shadow. This isn't the Jedi Order... With Clandestine operations an ever possibility here, visitors are expected to follow orders to the letter, to maintain any sensitive information as private; or for that matter make sure they don't inadvertently see anything they shouldn't.

Everything in this area requires some sort of security key to move, access, or utilize. Though with enough time, its clear that this place is nothing but a HUB.

A state of the art training room, in which Shadows can train for quite literally any mission. Temperature, Gravity, Humidity, freeform paneling which can create replicas of locations for use in mission planning, and training exercises; Not to mention a stream of training droids via nanite replication. The room could have a total of about one hundred nanite constructs in different forms (give or take depending on the size of said construct) each programmed to do a specific task. As such one could run a theoretical mission over and over, until you get it right in practice. To access this room, you need to hop inside what is basically a floating chamber, as the room itself is a floating construct within a hollowed cavern of earth, once inside this room can expand to epic proportions, enough so as multiple classes could be held within comfortably.

Referred too by some as The Strip, this pod is well regulated by droid, and human intervention alike. It consists of a large hangar area with slotting for several Corvettes, or Frigates, Not to mention ceiling Mag-locks for inverted storage of Starfighters, and Interceptors. This entire room uses a Zero-G Generator, simulating the vacuum, although there is also an environment; at the end of the humungous span of of The Strip are two hangar doors that open and close depending on traffic. After about one kilometer of flight, one would run into two additional hangar doors; both sets are heavily reinforced with Durasteel, among other composites; In addition to this, there are Ion, Plasma, and Missile Turrets lining the walls of The Strip, nothing gets in, or out without a struggle.

There are some who have worked here since the place was built, who are unaware of the exact location of the Security Room. Within a Droid monitors all droid and humanoid activity within the installation; unmoving, and wanting for nothing; it simply observes.

Perhaps the Crown Jewel of this place, is the pod got this place the nickname "The Drain". The entire room is an oversized furnace, and in the case of a hostile breach will automatically melt its own rivets, and incinerate anything inside; as for what it holds, that would be a collection of exotic Sith artifacts. Things not fully understood, but pending destruction; As an added security measure, people are not allowed into this area; only droids that are built in such a manner that they are effectively Force-Dead. They will retrieve items, and take them to the person who needs them for examination or study, then brought directly back. Once items are studied to the point of being understood, they are ultimately destroyed.
SECURITY
Maximum

Oculus Cam Surveillance Droids (There are dozens of these floating around, hiding, sometimes visible, sometimes unmoving and watching)

Security Turrets that can fire blaster bolts, but will prioritize Slugs These quite literally have angles no matter what place within The Drain you stand.

Ray Shield Generators With Standalone Power Supplies

Pod. 0 Is literally a long Force Suppression Cage.

Saotome Droids x8 (Armed with Lightsabers)

Saotome War Droids (Four of these sit in a low power mode in hidden locations throughout the installation)

Battle Droids - There are roughly Sixty of these droids, and they make up the main security Force of the base
