Master of Fear

STANDARD FEATURES
- Standard Weaponry and Shields
- Class 1.5 Hyperdrive (Backup Class 5)
- Advanced Communications and Sensor Suite
- Sensor Jamming Suite
- Above Average Sublight Engines
- Infiltrator: Designed for infiltration and stealth, the Insidious-Class was retrofitted with advanced sensor jammers that made it nearly invisible to traditional scans. While it lacks a cloaking device, it is all but invisible to long—and short-range scanners.
- Need For Speed: While capable in a fight, the Insidious-Class is designed to escape battle and possesses impressive sublight engines for that very task.
- Going Live: Designed for Nefaron's agents, the Insidious-Class is equipped with a long-range, encrypted communications suite so that the Corpse Lord can both receive updates and provide fresh orders.
- Fuel Guzzler: While capable, the Infiltrator burns through hyperfuel quickly. Without dedicated refueling ports or vessels, the ship can only jump to hyperspace about five times.
- Evacuate: While equipped with weapons, the Insidous-class was not built for heavy combat. It lacks the armor or shields for sustained battle, and so is often running from battle.
- Use Ion Cannons: Due to the complicated electronics onboard, the Infiltrator is easily disabled with accurate fire from Ion weaponry, rendering it a floating husk.
DESCRIPTION
As Darth Nefaron expands his operations galaxy-wide, he has found a need for a craft capable of delivering his servants to their destination without arousing suspicion from local authorities. Taking from specifications from common Sith vessels as well as using the knowledge of enslaved craftsman to create a new class of starfighter designed with speed and stealth in mind. While Anoat lacks the capability to mount a cloaking device in the vessel, the Insidious-Class was as close as one could get to an invisible starship. Sleek, black, and stuffed to the brim with communication and sensor equipment, the Insidious-Class has only recently passed its final inspection and come into service for the Dark Lord.
Since the removal of a vast portion of Nefaron's slaves by Darth Malum, the production of new vessels has ground to a halt. Only two functioning craft were manufactured during that time, with only one being properly equipped with a functioning hyperdrive. Still, the Corpse Lord awaits his Apprentice's reports about the craft's effectiveness in the coming months. Initial tests reveal a vessel perfect for its role of infiltration, but its average combat ability and durability don't make it ideal for direct combat.
The Corpse Lord has made plans for upgrades to the vessel, though they all depend on his ability to increase the power of Anoat and the capability of its manufactoring. For that he will need more slaves, and that is something his servants will provide.
