led back to Light
Some months after beginning their search for former Jedi Master
They identify her in the background of a few frames of a post-invasion broadcast from Humbarine's Academy of Advanced Studies.
Efret was never part of the High Republic; but she had a brief, informal association with its preceding order's council, the Shirayan Knights of the Royal Naboo Republic, following the Second Cataclysm in Theed. However, she dissolved that connection in relatively short order when she resigned from her position on the New Jedi Order's Council as Chief Curator.
Even in the high-vaulted halls of Jedi temples on the lips of would-be stoics, gossip thrives.
And the most popular story—only partially speculation—was that a fellow Jedi master and NJO councilmember, whom Efret had fallen in love with, had been swallowed into the Netherworld and, though she had originally joined the Shirayans to aid a rescue effort, she hadn't been able to handle the weight of his loss.
But she never strayed very far. The suggestion was that she was living as a hermit somewhere in Lake Country, though if anyone looked there for her, they never told.
"What a tragic end for such a brilliant mind," they'd all say.
Oh, but they didn't know the half of it.
And most of them never would—not now. In light of the rise of the Vanguard and souring of already bitter sentiments regarding Dark siders, the two knights decided to keep their discovery to themselves.
That said, they wouldn't be able to bring Efret back to the Light alone. They'd need to carefully let fellow Jedi, both inside and especially outside of the High Republic, in on their knowledge to form an actionable plan.
Someone out there had more information or could help them get it.
Thank you for your interest in this post!
Now that Efret has been settled IC into the Sith Covenant, I'm looking forward to focusing on the many ripples that she's left on the Jedi who knew her and the institutions that she once served.

- I want this plot point to be a slow-burning and overarching one; in such, I'm not interested in immediate reveals of Efret's specific whereabouts or information about what all she's up to.
- That said, I'm open to encounters; she has a carefully crafted disguise in place now, so there is not currently any sort of way to connect her Sith self to her old self.
- As mentioned in the main post, Rix and Miona are being very selective with who they share the information they have gathered about Efret with, especially with Jedi of the High Republic. Efret's fall is not public knowledge or even known to many.
- Unless Rix or Miona have told your character or I've given them permission to know, please assume that your character is not aware.
- Last thing: your character doesn't need to have known Efret before she fell to the Dark side.
- However, she was Chief Curator on the NJO Council for a while, so if your character was involved in some way with the NJO/Galactic Alliance or was aware of major figures within those factions, then the name Efret or Master Farr might well ring a bell.
