OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
GENERAL INFORMATION
• Planet Name: Inferos
• Demonym: Inferi
• Region: Mid Rim
• System Name: Estuans Rerum
• System Features: Orbital Period: 400 days in a year. Rotational Period: 28 standard hours. Sun: The Burning World. Moon: The Freezing World. The Sun's diameter is sized at 2,515,734 km. The moon is a near-frozen rock, barren of all useful materials, and life, apart from micro-organisms. The moon's diameter is sized at 3,000 km. The system is barren, save for a dwarf planet of no real note. The planet is tilted on it's axis, with the volcanic side constantly facing towards the sun, while the cooler side is constantly facing the moon
• Coordinates: U-38 [Ikotch Hex]
• Major Imports: Food, water, building materials, etc.
• Major Exports: Durasteel ore, Volcanic Rocks, Cooled Magma, deposits of Mandalorian Iron Ore, rare herbs and plants.
• Unexploited Resources: Beast pelts, ice, stone, other ores.
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
• Gravity: Standard
• Climate: The world is split down the middle by a long valley atleast 8km deep and twenty km wide. It has, reasons unknown to the greatest minds, blocked off any form of exchange between the two sides, such as micro-organism, bacteria, fungi, animals, etc. And to add to it's mystery, has somehow managed to create, what is essentially, two different worlds, mixed together. One side is full of volcanic plains, volcanoes, deserts, etc. While the other is occupied by a never-ending ice age. Full of snow fields, ice lakes, and more tropical oceans along the border, with arctic oceans mixed in everywhere else. There also appears to be an eternal thunderstorm travelling across the planet, no bigger than your cyclone sized thunderstorm from Earth, it still poses a large threat. Instead of roaming freely, it follows a large Leviathan creature. This creature is seemingly the only one able to travel freely between the two climates. The planet is tilted on it's axis, with the volcanic side constantly facing towards the sun, while the cooler side is constantly facing the moon
• Primary Terrain: Volcanic Fields, Ice Plains, Oceans, Volcanoes, Snow Mountains.
• Atmosphere: Type I
LOCATION INFORMATION
• Capital City: The planet has no city.
• Planetary Features: The planet holds a number of old temples, most built into caves under water, or outside of the volcanic plains. There were hundreds of these, and there is no exact count on how many there are. Each could hold an artefact or many. They also hold many carvings into the history of the planet, giving an idea of it's history. The planet is mainly wild. The Palaces, there are three palaces on the planet, one made of ice, one in a volcano, and one in the valley that separates the two. They are gigantic, and are more like the lairs of a dragon.
• Major Locations:
The Crucible's Temple: One of the larger temples of the planet is built into an Inactive Volcano, it's rather large, averaging the size of a military base. It has since become the Headquarters of The Crucible. It holds a main chamber with a gigantic red crystal with a fiery aura, this main chamber is housed in the inactive volcano's heart. This crystal shares power through a sort of network of smaller crystals, about the size of a human arm that are layered through the temple. They emit a low red glow. They were a primitive light source, and were replaced by regular lights by the Crucible, though they are still somehow powered by the crystal.

The temple has many hallways, but only two levels. One hallway leads down to meditation chambers, another down to sleeping areas, and another to the Throne Room of the leader of the Crucible. In the main chamber, the walls have murals, detailing the history of the planet. Also in the main chamber, deep down, where the magma chamber of the volcano used to be, is a large cage big enough to hold three Greater Krayt Dragons. The only bars are over the top, as the rock of the planet serves as good enough of a prison for the rest. The bars are made out of Mandalorian Iron. It is obvious whatever resides in that cage is meant to stay in.

The second level is reserved for the Dark Council and Monarch. It is one hallway that loops around the walls of the volcano. The Throne Room is found behind the Dark Council Chambers, and nobody is permitted inside either without Dark Council or Monarch permission, respectively. The Dark Council Chambers hold nine seats, six for the councillors, one for the Fire Overlords Fury, who acts as the Head of the Council, one for the Royal Champion, who serves as the one to bring order to the Council, and quiet them. And a main throne is reserved for the Fire Overlord. The throne covers up the entrance to the throne room, hiding it completely.

It is somehow impossible to move without uttering words that might sting and repulse an enemy of the Crucible to the point that they can not speak them. "The Fire Overlord rules all." Upon uttering these words infront of the throne, it shifts to the side, permitting entrance to the Throne Room. The Throne Room itself holds a throne overlooking the main chamber through a transparisteel window. It holds two smaller thrones for the Fury and Champion. It holds two statues, one of Emperor Vitiate of the Old Sith Empire to the right, and a statue of Darth Sidious to the left. This room shows the Monarch's Sith history. It holds a chandelier of glowing red crystals, and to the left, a wall full of books, and to the right, a wall full of weapons.

Opposite the Throne Room, on the other side of the hallway loop, one could find the execution and torture room. This room is explained perfectly by it's name, it holds various torture and execution tools, such as vibroaxes, and burning hot brands, buckets of coal, etc.

POPULATION
• Native Species: Demon Terentatek, Royal Dragons
• Immigrated Species:
Human,
Sith Pureblood
• Population: Sparse
• Demographics: Inferos allows all species on it, but if they can not survive, which most non-sentient and semi-sentient species can not, then they do not survive. The Crucible hosts a main population of humans and sith purebloods.
• Primary Languages: Galactic Basic, Sith Pureblood Language
• Culture: Generally speaking, the inhabitants do their own thing. The Crucible members typically perform alchemy or sorcery, train in combat, meditate, rest or socialise. Or perform quests and missions, or even trials to prove themselves and earn a bit of money. Some are chosen to guard the temple. The Dark Councillors reside in their chambers, debating, or train their apprentices.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
• Government: Monarchy
• Affiliation: [member=Darth Timorem] (Monarch)
• Wealth: Medium, there is no income generated on the planet, as there are currently no businesses set up. Also to note, the Crucible members, which make up a majority of the planet's sentient population, do not earn money apart from going on missions and assisting outsiders. To elaborate, say a Crucible Disciple killed a Demon Terentatek that was roaming too close to the temple, they would be paid roughly a thousand credits. To contradict this, the Dark Council members are allowed to grant sums of credits to anybody on the planet, and earn a monthly amount from the Monarch. The inhabitants pay for any assistance required, with the Monarchy gaining 50%, while the one who completes the task can get anywhere from 25% to 75%, depending on the difficulty and risk of the task. A higher risk will warrant a higher percentage. The Monarchy and Council handle the exports and imports, refer to the Major Exports section. The money obtained from exports goes into the funds for the Monarchy, which then circles down to the Council.
• Stability: None, there is no stability, as there is no police force, or any laws regarding it. Inside the Crucible is different, as murder and the likes is prohibited. This will be covered in Freedom and Oppression.
• Freedom & Oppression: The people who are not members of the Crucible are free to live their lives how they see fit. If they have a problem that they can't solve, eg; a hive of Demon Terentateks, then they are free to send a request to the Crucible. But as stated above, the Monarchy takes a step away from ruling them, and a step closer to ruling the planet. Only one law persists to them: Do not get too close to the temple. Members of the Crucible are treated differently, only sorcerers and alchemists are allowed to possess herbs, drugs, and other flora similar in nature. Alcohol is outright forbidden unless permitted by the Monarch, and they are expected to train and become better.
There are no cities on the planet, but there are temples. The Crucible acts more as an organisation than a government. The inhabitants are left to fend for themselves. They can live anywhere. A favoured place is underground, or closer to the border. As few creatures venture to the border due to how neutral it is, and by extension, possibly deadly, it makes it a perfect place for humans and human like beings to live. The caves offer little off shoots, just as big as a normal man, or roughly that size. These can be used as miniature homes of sorts. (By all means, if you want to sub a city into the Codex if this planet gets accepted, go for it.)

MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
• Military: While not a hive of scum and villainy, it still has no real military apart from the Crucible. So the inhabitants are left to care for themselves. The Crucible however, is heavily defended within their temple.
• Technology: Galactic Standard
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The planet was originally discovered by a Jedi Knight whose name has been lost to history. Since then, a few explorers have found the planet, but no records of it exist, apart from a few indirect mentions in legends. The most recent discovery was by [member=Darth Timorem], who had been searching for decades for this world, going only on the brief and indirect mentions within old texts and carvings in temples. He settled it peacefully, as it had very few inhabitants, next to none to be precise. He settled it to create a planet for which his Order could use as a base. Less than two years after he settled the planet, he discovered the temple that would lead to become the base of the Crucible. In the coming years, he formed the Crucible through selection of apprentices to serve as his Fury and Champion, and as his Dark Council, usually the descendants of great Sith of the past.

Five years after the Crucible had become decently large, the temple was attacked by the Queen, the Royal Dragon. The members of the Crucible hid in fear, having never seen such a large or terrifying beast. Those who had the foolish courage to face it were destroyed and burned, then, [member=Darth Timorem] stepped outside, seeing the incompetence of his disciples. He faced the beast in his Fire Lord's Bulwark, and stood, fearless, as the beast pelted him with flames. He then stood, unharmed by the flame due to the Bulwarks nature. He then started blasting the beast with force lightning, and force fire. The beast yielded under the power, and submitted itself to it's new master.

With the taming of this beast, the Crucible gained a fair amount of power, and attracted a bit of attention to itself from the Confederacy of Independent Systems, causing a small task force to be dispatched years later. In the mean time, the Fire Overlord gained a considerable amount of respect and power, learning from the beast as it learned from him. They formed an inseparable bond through the beast's nature, and it taught him of the planet's history through it's telepathy. It taught him of the Emperor, and how it would come as the 5,000,000 year old Queen grew closer to her death. And it would destroy all in it's way to get to her.

Going back further in history than the Crucible's formation, roughly 2,000,000 years to be precise, the planet had split in half, and formed it's two different regions. Species evolved to fit the new regions, some lived within the canyon that split the two regions, such as the Emperor. 1,000,000 years later, a storm formed as the Emperor rose from it's depths and travelled to the King and Queen to preserve their species. The storm was the size of a cyclone on Earth, kilometres in diameter, it follows the Emperor around. The Emperor did not directly create the storm, it rather just passed over him as he was awakening. Though, he is naturally electric, and provides a negative and positive charge back, essentially keeping the storm eternal.

So there are a couple of things I want to address here to help flesh out your concepts a little more and to answer a few questions I have:
• So first off, remove any mentions of Earth or the Milky Way galaxy in the submission
• So I see what you're trying to accomplish with the two halves of the world being different biomes, but a valley as wide as the Grand Canyon is not going to get the result you want. I would recommend something like the planet is tilted on its axis in some way and one side of the world is constantly facing the star and the other isn't. Another recommendation could be gravity fluctuations caused by an abnormal orbit and the moon, hence the volcanic terrain.
• Is the Emperor Dragon causing the thunderstorm?
• If there are no cities, where do inhabitants live that aren't part of the Crucible?
• For wealth, if the Crucible isn't collecting taxes and there aren't any businesses here, how do they have the credits to pay people for jobs done?
• Stability would actually be low or non-existent if there aren't any rules or laws governing the inhabitants' lives as they could choose to do anything they want with no consequences as it is, including murder and such
• I think the years need to be toned down a bit in the history section, millions of years is a bit excessive for creatures

[member="Darth Timorem"]

I still have a few outstanding things that need addressed:
• So while there are no cities on the world, I still don't have an understanding of where people not part of the Crucible live. Are they in small villages? caves? underground settlements?
• The wealth section is now a bit circular. What I want to know is how does the Monarchy have funds to pay out bounties for missions if they have no tax revenue from the population and no businesses on world bringing in offworld investments? As written, the planet would be rather poor and isolated from the galactic economy.

Changes made.

- Major Exports changed to provide more items. Unexploited resources changed to fit more with the terrain, and the resources it would produce.
- Wealth changed to reflect on Major Exports
- Freedom and Oppression changed to include the ideal spots for living.

• Immigrated Species: None
• Demographics: Inferos allows all species on it, but if they can not survive, which most non-sentient and semi-sentient species can not, then they do not survive. The Crucible hosts a main population of humans and sith purebloods.
I would put Human and Sith Purebloods into the Immigrated species tag, which will tell folks quickly what they can expect to run in to as far as sentients on Inferos. You are welcome to add others, but since those two are clearly immigrated they belong in that field too.
