OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
 • Intent: To create a primary lightsaber for Marakai.
 • Canon Link: N/A
 • Primary Source: N/A
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
 • Classification: Lightsaber
 • Size: Average
 • Weight: Heavy
SPECIAL FEATURES
 • Incineration: Within this blade is a rare and special crystal, with a staggering effect. The Incineration crystal is a compressed energy crystal that can cause objects the blade comes in contact with to either burst into flames or suffer serious burns.
 • Powerful: Like the Incineration crystal, the Impact crystal is an extremely rare crystal that makes the blade of this weapon significantly stronger. Due to this it can wear down lightsaber resistant materials faster, hold it's own against other lightsabers, and slice through basic materials even faster than the standard blade.
 • The Trio: This blade is one of two, and when used in tandem with it's sister blade the effects of all of the crystals are pushed to their limits. It also creates a triumvirate of The Force based on the Adegan crystals sealed within the other blades that helps bond both blades to their user.
Strengths:
 • Powerful Blade: The blade to this lightsaber is significantly more powerful than others of it's class. Due to the Impact crystal, this lightsaber's blade is capable of wearing down lightsaber resistant materials faster than usual.
 • Focal point: Due to the Adegan crystal within this blade, the lightsaber has a nearly personal relationship with it's sister blade and it's master.
 • Resilient Hilt: This Lightsaber is built using Beskar, an extremely impervious Mandalorian Iron that makes the hilt completely lightsaber resistant.
Weaknesses:
 • Heavy: The Beskar this blade is made of is extremely heavy and can make the lightsaber that much more difficult to handle. Over a long period of time the lightsaber becomes increasingly heavy, causing a lull in the user's response.
 • Projectile Weakness: The lightsaber is completely capable of guarding against blaster's, however when it comes to projectile firers such as Slugthrowers, the lightsabers are incapable of guarding against the weaponry and are essentially useless.
 • The Single Blade: When used in tandem with it's sister blade this lightsaber is extremely deadly, however when the secondary blade is deactivated then the master blade will be unable to perform at full capacity. The Adegan crystal will be all but useless, and will not be able to bond the lightsaber to it's master like normal. This can make combat far harder if the user is used to using the blades together all the time.
 • Cortosis Weaknesses: As this blade is a lightsaber , even though it is an advanced one it is extremely weak to Cortosis. Though a single strike is not enough to deactivate the blade, repeated contact will cause the lightsaber to deactivate.
 • Underwater: This lightsaber is unable to be used underwater. If activated under water the emitter lenses could malfunction to not only turn the blade off, but also make it unable to be used for a few minutes after leaving the water.
 • EMP Susceptible: Targeted EMP/ION weaponry can potentially cause this weapon to become deactivated for a number of minutes, ranging hours, depending on the damage done and the type of weaponry.
DESCRIPTION
Keelin Farr was one of the first Jedi to succumb to the Sith treachery that was Order 66. A powerful Jedi Knight in his own right, he served the Galactic Republic faithfully for the duration of the war. Though considered headstrong and ill tempered, he was regarded by many as a war hero. Taking to war as a fish to water, his devotion to combat and battle was respected by friend and foe alike. Half way through the war he set his mind toward constructing a new, more powerful lightsaber. One that would be the hand of his justice in this new conflict. A strong, capable, man in his late twenties he looked to more powerful metals than what the Jedi chambers could offer him. Instead, he turned to Beskar, a Mandalorian Iron that was even capable of withstanding blows from another lightsaber.

His first lightsaber crystal was one he had since he was a boy, the sister crystal to the one his own twin sister had. In reality it was a Force-responsive crystal that lined the Jedi Knight to the blade he held. It was believed it was this union that helped the Jedi ignore the considerable weight the lightsaber held. His second crystal was an Incineration crystal that the Jedi had found in his travels in the outer rim. Warned by the Jedi Council against such a blade, Keelin elected to use the crystal even though it was dangerous in nature. Along with a third power crystal granted from the Jedi crystal caves on ilum, the lightsaber was made to be an impressive display of power. However, the blade was not enough to halt the death of Keelin Farr during Order 66.

We cannot force consequences on our roleplaying partners. Please reword this section to sound less absolute.

I can't find anything implying such abilities on the Adegan crystal wookieepedia page. Could you explain how this works?

You also mention the 'sister blade' of the Inferno multiple times, yet it's not linked anywhere in the submission. Do you plan to submit it at a later date?

I would also like you to address the following questions, and edit them into your submission where relevant:
 1. How does the saber fare versus EMP/Ion attacks?
 2. How about cortosis?
 3. Does it work underwater?
Tag me with edits/questions, and we can move this along.

The Adegan Crystals create a force bond with their users. In my mind it seems appropriate that two blades with a strong connection to the force that are used in tandem would eventually connect themselves as well. Basically the crystals we're connected via the force and when the user utilizes them that bond is centered around that person.

I will be subbing the sister blade at a later date.

Alright, that works. Thanks for the clarification. :)

Please just link the manufacturing Major faction, and this should be good to go.
