Objective One: Cast Away - Techno Union Edition

• On their way to Ascension to attend the Royal Wedding, a Techno Union Transport (and other various misc. ships) got caught up in a solar storm that knocked out all the ships system. Entering the event horizon of the planet of Ascension the ships crash landed into one of the great oceans. Stranded on various wreckage, the passengers and crew have to pull together to survive on floating pieces of sheet metal until they eventually would come across an isolated an uninhabited island some time into their drift through the ocean. Can they work together to survive? Will they escape the island? Only by participating in this crazy adventure can you know for sure.

Objective Two: The Techno Union learns their ABC's

• The hot-shots and big-wigs of the Techno Union (including but not limited to) some of, if not all of the Executive Council Members will be meeting with the Ascension Business Council. The council is a conglomerate of all the biggest business tycoons of the metal and mineral rich Ascension, and the Techno Union has come to strike a deal to get their hands on everything from metal for their starships to clean water for their citizens. Don't take these men and women lightly, though. They're no pushovers when it comes to making deals. Just who can know how they'll react to the businessmen and women of the Techno Union? Will you be the one to be able to secure a contract for the TU. So, do you have what it takes to swim with the sharks and come out on top?

Objective Three: A Royal Wedding

• Princess Thais Kalliso of Isis and King Xander Blackmoore of Indupar and the Ec Pand System are going to be married on the oceanic, mountain world of Ascension. This controversial couple - she with bounty on her head, and he rumored to be a Sith Assassin - will be joined by the most powerful monarchs in the galaxy on Lake Verino, Alba. Dignitaries of The Techno Union have also been invited to celebrate. The Obsidian Order will be there to provide protection to the couple as Thais Kalliso is expecting an heir to the dual throne of Isis and Indupar. With her bounty and the child in her womb, the security around Princess Kallisto will be extremely tight. Rumor has it there are some angry Mandalorians who will attempt to crash the wedding.

Crix was not happy, not even a little bit. He had been dragged to the wedding of his two least favourite royal whores, not only did he have to give up a whole day of his life to watch the pair smooch and be massive cringe worthy but he had to pay for an expensive gift as well. A whole 5,000 credits on a pair of chalices ... He could have bought Toby a gift with that money. Toby deserved gifts far more than that pair.

At least Toby was here that was a saving grace. Granted Toby wasn't here as his equal. The poor man was knelt beside him as Crix sat in his allotted place, 'Prime seating' He was visible here so he couldn't even make gagging faces behind Thais's back, or make google eyes at Toby. No he'd have to behave, he didn't want to be battered again afterall. He was going to need some alcohol. He reached down to rub at Toby's neck "Go and get me a drink Darlin', stay out of the way of the other guests " He instructed, he didn't want the others exploiting him. Toby smiled up to him before he stood up to moved over to the drinks tables.

Objective C

"Oh you really should come to the high season ball," she said in a in a tone that feigned excitement at the prospect. She wouldn't care to even recall his face after today, he knew.

"Oh you could stay at the Varnes' lodge!" her husband added.

"I'd be glad to," Raziel lied back. He'd played nobility many times before. Remarkable, in his opinion, how nobility kept such similar attitudes across the galaxy. It made them so easy to play.

"What did you say your estate does again?" the baroness asked, knowing full well he hadn't mentioned it yet.

"I'm sorry what?" the husband asked with an eyebrow raised.

"I said we mostly trade in property and breed racing hounds," Raziel replied sweetly. "Of course I did."

"Of course you did!" she added with a mock titter of laughter.

Raziel sighed, bored of this conversation and went to find something to drink.

Objective B: Support

Jennifer Blanchard was stretching her wings. The girl had been used as a teacher on Roon for the Obsidian Order for a bit longer than she’d like. She really preferred to be in the field, and that was what she was doing here. Her armor was on, of course, because she was on an actual assignment. Helping the Executive Council set up shop on new world was important, and being part of the Zillo Network, meant she had a stake in the construction aspects going on.

With this group, she had to be ready, the Ascension tycoons knew what they were selling and knew how to manage a world. Why should they join the Techno Union? And that was one thing Jenn was working on to help out. She was looking for where the planet was weak and what the Union could provide. Primarily it was wares and protection.

It was a matter of profit, really, and she was just waiting for the meetings to begin and continue on before she found her moment to speak.

Objective: C get married

Xander was sitting in a chair, his royal tuxedo hanging perfectly pressed and waiting for him to put it on. The king was slightly nervous about the wedding. Thais was with child and everyone would know it by now. He was also apprehensive about the whole affair. Did he really want to be bound to one woman for life. Certainly many royals had their harem and only lay with their queen when attempting to make a child. Xander already had that, but it seemed cruel to subject the young woman to that. What was he thinking? It was all wedding jitters. He truly had fallen for her, and knew this was right.

There would be no best man for Xander. All his friends, well Xander had none. His life had been a lonely one until Thais came along. Sitara Qin gave him a short respite from it, but she had left like the others. Briefly he allowed his mind to wander to his red huntress. She never would have agreed to this. In fact they had always talked about how he would marry for the sake of keeping his throne, but they would be lovers. That was 827 years ago, and she was long gone. Xander had finally made peace with it all. He had to, because Thais deserved his whole affections. Their child did as well.

It was time to dress. The pants first, followed by the shirt. His Valet helped him with the coat and bow tie. Xander insisted his lightsabers would be warn under the jacket. He was the last line of defense if anything went awry. He would protect his bride, and the unborn life in her womb at all cost.

Objective C: Wedding?

Token loved weddings, so much fun. All a giant party, people crying, other people finding love, other people finding Mr and Mrs Right Now in the bathroom, yeah, those were always her kinds of things. Probably why her cousin had her start running Bright Star for him. She loved it, got to get up for work whenever, and go to sleep around whenever o’clock in the evening. It was really perfect. She figured that she might as well help show up for the Union by being around at the wedding.

What could really go bad, right? The blonde picked out some black heels and a red dress, did her hair up fairly well, and felt she was looking like a dime as she made her way from the ship, which was basically her mobile apartment, feeling awesome. The urban witch had put away her leather jacket, dust covered jeans and boots for this bit of a show. She needed to get back out to the space lanes, find the answers she was looking for. But every so often, R&R was required.

Was our little witch going to get that at this meeting? Who knew.

As she stood in one place in the bride's room, Princess Thais Kallisto barely moved. She didn’t need to as numerous attendants and courtiers helped her put the finishing touches on her elaborate, white wedding gown. All she needed to do was lift her arms so the dress could be adjusted and purse her lips so lipstick could be applied. If she was thirsty, a drink would be brought to her mouth. She did not need to lift a finger. Placed atop her brunette hair, which was swept upward and off her swan-like neck, sat a Jeremejevite tiara worth millions of credits, made from crystals plucked from the Kallisto Mining Corporation quarries.

Thais had been waiting for this day since she had met King Blackmoore on Indupar, when she was there to meet a Prince in the Crown Worlds court, an impostor primed to take the throne that belonged to Darth Vizios. Disguised as a servant, he had eventually assassinated his rivals, their families and claimed his rightful throne. Xander had also conveniently claimed Thais’s hand in marriage.

Nerves caused her stomach to flutter, and she longingly watched as champagne was passed around the room in celebration. But Thais could not drink. She was carrying the King’s child, a daughter and powerful Force user respectively. The dress had an empire waist which allowed room for the curve of her belly.

“Are you ready, Your Highness?” asked Miss Janine. “No need to be anxious. You were born to marry a King.”

Thais smiled and nodded. “I’m ready,” she said, breathing out with such force, Miss Janine, her most loyal handmaiden shot her a look of concern. The bride’s room was overly warm, and the Princess longed for two things right now: fresh air by the lake where the Kallisto/Blackmoore ceremony would take place, and the sight of King Blackmoore there at the altar waiting for her.

 

[Malik]

Objective 3 (Make sure nothing goes wrong)

Malik agreed to guard the wedding. Why? Even he didn't know but the pay for this was good enough to pack his bags and head to where it was taking place. Even though him being here was already a danger, any threat would likely go for him instead of the royal couple. Even Malik had to admit 50,000 credits for someone DoA was a good deal, and here he was, guarding a ceremony with plenty of people that could be candidates for spies or assassins.

 

[Gravi'gor'attaque]

Objective 3.

"No drinking, no smoking, and absolutely no laying your hands on anyone unless they blast through those damn doors with blasters. Understood?"

Former General Gravi'Gor'Attaque overlooked his men, shaking his head. The 10 men he had hauled with him to this damn wedding were glaring at their superior officer, hatred and disgust in their eyes as they attempted to not lose their sanity in their tight-fitting, traditional military attire. Each man was armed with a single slugthrower rifle and their standard-issue combat knife.

The general quickly plucked a cigar from his mouth, extinguishing it in a nearby ashtray. "Alright gentlemen, this way..." He said with a hint of regret in his voice as he quickly adjusting his blade's sheath, which was clamped tightly to his belt, along with his slugthrower revolver. He then proceeded to position around four separate men on each side of the lobby, facing the entrance. Ordering the remaining six to follow him, the general, patrolling the hallways until the ceremony began, attempting to ignore the muttered profanity from his men.

"Alright cousins, esteemed guests. This is the place. Lock and load." I said smiling, looking back into the passenger compartment, adrenaline already starting to pump through my veins from excitement and anticipation. This was going to be good. This little Uppity, self absorbed, little princess had gone and made a mistake. While in gesture, she was probably in the right, the gesture of placing a bounty on unknown Mandalorian warriors endangered every man, woman, and teen that put on Beskar'gam. And it was insulting as well. Not as insulting as us coming in and ruining her wedding would be, but insulting nonetheless. As the saying goes, don't start none, won't be none.

I was sitting in the driver seat of the limousine, specifically the marital limousine we hijacked down the street. It even had the 'Just Married' on the back and the annoying noise makers rattling away. In my lap was a Mythosaur Grenade Launcher, big and heavy, but then again the goal wasn't quiet. Plenty of Grenades stuffed into the weapon just for this one, lots of pain, lots of loud angry explosions to follow soon. " We roll up, hit them with the big guns and mess up their day. Once they scatter we can go in and go after the miscreants. Stick in pairs, don't be stupid. Oya!" Instructions were loose and up for interpretation. Either they knew what they were doing or they would figure it out. I had no doubts about the old man who was leading this little shin dig with me either.

I kept the repulsorlift craft nice and slow, going the proper speed towards beautiful lakeside wedding. Outdoor weddings were always nice. I had to remember this place in case I ever get hitched. Maybe the other side of the lake though. This place was most likely going to be a memorial of a mass grave or something in the next twenty minutes. But there was still time until we got there, and this here ride was expected, in fact it might be a few minutes early since we didn't bother with a smoke break like the driver did when we ambushed him. No doubt Arrbi and his folks were setting up, getting ready for that perfect moment, that beautiful head shot right before he says 'I do'. All we had to do was roll up as the blushing bride walks down the aisle, and then ruin everything.

Objective Three: Wedding


Nej had pre-gamed too hard. He was dressed modestly, a button down with a shoulder holster proudly showing the heavy slugthrower handgun in his holster. And the suave hair he had going on. Apparently, he was here to guard a wedding. From who? He didn't care. The bride was stuffy and uptight, and the groom was apparently some Sith nerf herder. Hence, why Nej was a bit drunk. Not- blackout slurring words drunk, but he had pre-gamed on some whiskey beforehand. So, he stood near the door, where the bride, [member="Thais Kallisto"], would come storming out, pregnant and whatnot. And he was just waiting until after the ceremony to get really drunk and bang a bridesmaid or whatever. Girls at weddings always felt sad, and sleeping with a loveable rogueish type like Nej usually suited them. That, or he got drunk for free. Either way, worked out for him.

Plus he got to carry his gun and nobody said anything!

Shargon rarely accepted contracts to capture people, but buisness was dying and assassinations were getting old. Credits were a need to afford better knives and poisons. Filar-Nitzans a sight to see in the galaxy if you could tell the difference between it and a puff of smoke. Lucky Shargons suit covered his Identity including his species well. The suit made him appear to be some type of spacer. The glass view port filled with black smoke.

The suit itself was merely a shell to hold his true gaseous body.

Stopped by some guards and security they said. " That suit is too bulky and baggy." they explained.
Shargon paused for a longtime looking at the guards creating a akward situation. " Would you ..rather me... join the wedding..Naked?" he said with no emotion and in a broken language. Suggesting he was from off world.

The guards looked at each other with a smirk on their face. They didnt want to argue with something that couldn't talk or that might be naked under his suit. Passing through Shargons red eyes flashed as he walked in. Am invisible smile formed across his smokey face.

This would be quick and easy, Like the assassination attempt on the Queen of Naboo.

Artesia sat in the back of the limosine with the rest of the members in her team except for Draco who was sat in the driver’s seat. A job was a job but that did not mean Artesia did not feel guilty about crashing a wedding. To her, a wedding was one of the important days of a woman’s life and something seemed wrong about ruining such a day for another.

Artesia nodded in acknowledgement when Draco gave the instructions “We roll up, hit them with the big guns and mess up their day. Once they scatter we can go in and go after the miscreants. Stick in pairs, don't be stupid. Oya!”

Artesia looked out the window as the venue of the wedding slowly came into view. The lake was pristine and gorgeous, it was a picturesque wedding venue, fit for a princess and her groom. Unfortunately, that was about to change soon.

Ember was not, strictly speaking, with Team Two. Ember was on the roof with a mimosa.

The whole point of being able to vanish from every sense and sensor known to man was that sometimes you just had to get away from it all. And yes, in short order there'd be screeching and running and other unimpressive emanations of humanity. In not very long at all he'd be showing up as requested, offering backup to [member="Draco Vereen"]'s Team Two. But this moment? This moment was all his.

He slurped down the last of the mimosa; the glass became visible as he set it down on the roof beside him. He twisted his wrists just so, and a pair of eighteen-inch double-pointed electrified beskar hookblades snapped out of his bracers. Another twist and the overlong Thorns of Ryloth vanished again. He slipped on the human-like mask of his armor -- part Mando, part Keetael, part Dathomiri -- and watched Team Two approach the premises.

There weren't many things that pissed off the Warlock of Yavin. Sith were among them. Sith putting bounties on Mandos in general -- including, by default, Ember's family and clan -- probably ranked right up there too. But getting pissed off wouldn't do any good. For this to work right, he had to chill. Hence the mimosa.

Raziel had been left alone with his thoughts. As alone as he could ever be in his head, anyway. He cast his emerald eyes over the Obsidian Order guards. Their customised advanced armour as unique as the individuals inside. Raziel closed his eyes.

World lines stretched out before him. The future was a tangled web of strands, always shifting and convalescing like a living creature. Like a spider sensing vibrations along a web, he followed several strands. The future was always clouded, emotional.

His lids slowly raised, pupils contracted against the sudden shift in light falling on them. Danger was at hand. One hand lingered on the boned breast of his doublet. Those bones were poisoned splinter knives. The first line of defence should he be required to take up arms. Then of course were the other items strapped to the bases of the chairs in aisle six...

But for now there was champagne.

It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, and love was in the air. Swathes of people had come from every corner of the galaxy, to celebrate the wedding of Thai Kalliso and Xander Blackmoore. Today was to be a joyous day, the beginning of a new future for the pair. Unfortunately, it would be both a beginning, and an end. The bride had put a bounty on any, and all, Mandalorians, and now It would come back to haunt her.

The clan made their way to the wedding, in the guise of a wedding limousine. Inside, they prepped for the attack. They were armed like a small army: grenades launchers, assault rifles, shot guns, and so many grenades. They were going to bring the pain. As Vengral prepped his gear, he listened to music through his helmet. His head bopped with the rhythm, and his mouth moved with the lyrics. Vengarl lived for two things, battle and credits. He wasn’t nervous, but rather excited. So excited. He would get to crash the wedding of some uppity tart, and get paid doing it. Today was going to be a good day.

They approached the wedding, and Draco laid out the game plan. Vengarl listened, and liked what he heard. “Oya! Time to to make some credits!” He said, with a big grin on his face.

Thais and Xander had hired extra security for the wedding for a variety of reasons. Aside from wanting their esteemed and wealthy guests to feel safe to revel in the luxurious surroundings and celebrate the union, the couple themselves had various enemies around the galaxy. First of all, King Blackmoore was also known as Darth Vizios, a Sith Lord and rumored assassin. Second, Thais through her business dealings with Kallisto Mining Corporation, had angered, not only the native Gutretee population of her home planet, but also the Mandalorians by putting a bounty out on soldiers who attacked her business associate, Munn Mines on Munnilinst.

Thais had ten TA2 Super Battle Droids surrounding her. Five were on each side, flanking the wedding party which was made up of her loyal handmaidens and closest court attendants. Well at this rate a Battle Droid might as well be holding the train of my dress, she thought grimly. She never envisioned her wedding to be so... militarized, but so it was.

[member="Crix Meriet"] was skulking around somewhere with his favorite slave, Toby. He used to be one of her most trusted courtiers until he overstepped his boundaries by placing a firm hand on her neck while they argued over selling Toby to the Hutts. I still can't see why he is so enamored of that one slave!!! It's not good to get so attached to the hired and subjugated help, she thought. But Thais had learned her lesson. And so had Mr. Meriet hopefully after he was personally beaten by King Blackmoore. It brought a smile to Thais's face to think back on that day in the Colony Hotel. But like a proper royal, she would find Crix today, and with a plastered, tight smile on her face, thank him for his continued support.

Princess Kallisto was in the corridor that connected the bride's room to the rest of the estate. Very soon she would be outside and making her way up the aisle adorned with the galaxy's rarest flowers to greet her husband-to-be and become, quite proudly, Queen Blackmoore.

Xander was dressed, and started to make his way from the dressing room to take his place for the ceremony. They were supposed to begin soon, and the King was fianlly ready for this. At the end of the day he would have a queen, and in a few short months, he'd be the father of a daughter. Irony had certainly played it's hand in how this all played out. The king of a patriarchal world was having a daughter, and she'd be the first to rule as queen when the time came for it.

The king crossed the grass way, and took his place at the front. His hands hung at his sides as he waited to see Thais in her dress. He'd not been allowed to see her, something about bad luck, but Xander didn't believe in that. A person made their own luck. That's why they had security. There were many enemies, and other courtiers Xander did not trust. He hoped he was wrong, but Xander was prepared.

The minister emerged, and that meant the ceremony would start soon. It was now when nerves set in, but a good nervous. Thais was going to be visible soon. Xander was antsy to see her.

Surveying the area, the general quickly cleared his throat. "This...This is hardly a good idea. Hell, we might as well let you raid the liquor cabinet and th-", However, the general was not able to finish his sentence before being interuppted by the remainder of his men. "Liquor?! What? We have permission to consume-", One of Gravi's men began. "No. As I said before, no one under my watch will be in possession of any alcoholic beverages. Understood?"

Disregarding his men's glares, Gravi'gor'attaque tugged at his uniform's collar, coughing into his sleeve. "Sergeant Zeezgoth, take the rest of the men and position them along the isle. I want you to keep your eyes open, if you even get the idea that something could be going down, I want you to determine it's location and gut the damn thing. Hell, if you see a single bird in the sky...I want you to open fire. Under no circumstances can this go wrong, or I will personally rip your karkin' throat out."

Gravi'gor'attaque spun around, quickly stalking over to the four men he had positioned around the entrance, which were quite a distance away. As he made his way over, he could make out what sounded like singing:

"WE ARE A BAND OF BROTHERS, NATIVE TO THE SOIL, FIGHTIN' FOR OUR LIBERTY WITH TREASURE, BLOOD, AND TOIL! WHEN ARE RIGHTS WERE THREATENED, THE CRY ROSE NEAR AND FAR! HURRAH FOR THE NABOO RESISTANCE, WHO'S GENERAL BARES A SINGLE SCAR! HURRAH, HURRAH! FOR NABOO RIGHTS, HURRAH! HURRAH FOR THE NA-"

Approaching his men, Gravi'gor'attaque's gaze fell upon his four men, who were bursting into song at the top of their lungs. "What the actual kark are you doing?" Gravi'gor'attaque inquired, unable to fathom why his men who were ordered to stand completely stationary in their designated positions, were shouting at the top of their lungs like a pack of wild Womp rats.

Clearing his throat, a single man stepped forward, saluting. "Uhm...sir. We are...simply attempting to pass the time...and uhm...uh...yeah."
