In the field

Training exercises, they are part of a soldiers life. Both republic and imperial troops partake in them and they help to keep the senses strong and sharp. But in the field anything goes, and even through their treaty bonded the republic and galactic empire together in the face of the sith empire it didn't mean they had to like each other. There was a saying amongst the imperials, Czars and Havoc don't mix. And how much of a true statement was that.

On the moon of some no named planet for some dumb field exercise the new Czar Daisy awaited the arrival for her battle buddy Steph some crazy wild sod of a woman. She like her or anything the republic stood for but in this time of war they had to work together in the face of a common enemy. "Where are you?" she said to herself awaiting the arrival of the no doubt drunk little woman. If she was late one last time daisy would break her over her knee, the havoc squad commando was part of her birth in a sense. A lot of the footage taken of havoc for the program was taken of the woman's spice outburst on Nara' Shada. She would still break her though, even if she was in a sense her mother.

Truthfully Steph Zenima couldn't recall signing up for training exercises. Perhaps she was just so out of her mind that it sounded like a really grand idea at the time. Or perhaps her friends in Havoc signed her up in the hopes that it would keep the little junkie occupied long enough to prevent her from roaming and causing destruction (her natural state of being).

After all, she went where she pleased.

However violence had been promised and thus she turned up, her best friend the sledgehammer held tight in both hands. Honestly, she looked cartoonish. The primary coloured hair, the gaunt addict features and her short stature combined with the sledgehammer.

“Haud ontae yer knickers, mate,” the woman drawled, being just as difficult to understand as usual, “ye shud really unwind, ken? A wee bit o' tha sniff'll dee ye a world o' good.” Funny that, being told to unwind by Stephanie bloody Zenima, who was so up to her eyeballs in narcotics that drinking her blood would make a Garhoon overdose.

"You're late." Daisy said to the small woman with the big hammer, daisy didn't appreciate the woman she didnt deserve to even set foot in the military. She felt that she shouldn't be here with the pint sized brawler that she was filthy waste of space and should be selling herself for her next hit in a whore house. But daisy would never say any of these things. She was too much of a sociopath to care about things like rage or even empathy to the woman's obvious problems. She was fed up with the little one and it was about time to put her in her place

Stepping forward daisy said nothing then reached for her cerimonial vibro katana strapped to get back. It was standard issue for all Czars. It was a touch blade it shined in the light of the other moons surrounding this world. She would hurt the woman and teach her some self control and discipline. Pointing her sword at the woman she fitted her helmet upon her head covering and protecting her reenforced skull from all angles.

Daisy didn't even have to give more than a commanding nod to the woman to get her point across, taking up a traditional kendo fighting stance she gripped the blade with both hands and prepared to fight the mad woman, daisy was new to the world of combat she had run dozens of simulations in training but never before had she been in an actual fight. That wouldn't stop her though, she remained calm to brave what lay ahead of her @[member="Steph Zenima"]

This probably wasn't going to be a pleasant day.

Steph craned her neck, hearing her no doubt gnarled bones pop and crack. The short woman didn't do helmets, no, the sight of her own blood (and it was so often her own blood) rushing down her face upon cranial impact tended to give her foes second thoughts, the first clue that Miss Zenima would fight until she could no longer stand, and then some.

She would have be a slight more cautious than usual, limbs did not just grow on trees after all. Of course, that leads to a question, what did she prefer dealing with? Blades or blasters? Frankly she was partial to a good old fist fight.

The handle of the sledgehammer spun in her grip, as she twisted the light metal, Steph preferred a very old fashioned wooden grip but they didn't tend to last long in battle. The pint-sized terror responded to the stiff-woman's nod with a hork and a grog, which is to say she released a rather phlegm-filled gob of spit towards the ground. Such feminine grace.

The charge began, always start out simple. There was a dab of fire in her eyes as Zenima ran forward bringing her sledgehammer up in a devastating arc that would (if it connected), most likely rattle some teeth inside of that helmeted head.

Typical brute force, her file was all about rage and blood lust. Daisy never liked making assumptions about people but in this case she assumed the woman didn't have a single graceful bone in her body. Daisy respected that, she respected the puny ones tenacity and mindless blood lust. Running forward the giant six ten woman would meet her dead on in battle, she would do this her way. And if she had to break and dent up the armor in the process she would just write it up as an accident to the CO

Doing what resembled a rock star's power slid the woman slid to her knees on the dirt. Grabbing her blade from one end to the other she lifted it in a high block to stop the woman's downward motion. She was too tall to block while standing so she had to go down but the woman was strong even for someone as small as her. Her bones rocked from the hit, even as hardened and reenforced as her bones were they held up against the hit. And now it was her turn.

On her knees the woman took her hand off of the blade and aimed a punch straight for steph's guts, however this would leave her blocking arm open for steph to push down on the hammer and do some damage to her helmet. But would she have enough time to both dodge the incoming punch and press the attack down on the czar? Augmented bone behind augmented muscle behind heavy plate armor was going to be a hell of a hit

Nobody expects the power slide.

The block on her attack jarred Steph too, unfortunately her bones were no so much reinforced but rather knotted, twisted, wounds left untreated left bones healing in contorted manners. It made them thicker, tougher but nowhere near as strong as the bones of her opponent. With a grunt, Zenima pushed her own weapon down but....oh...snap...

The fist came in hard. Did this woman gorge on spinach in her spare time? Yeah, she was a big girl but even for her size she was freak levels of strong.

Steph Zenima was not a thick woman, on the contrary, she was rather scrawny and so the hit saw all air escape from her lungs like it was the Oxygen Grand National. The woman stumbled backwards, gasping for breath. It's never kind to wind somebody on the first date.

“H'MIN...'AT'S...WELL...RUDE.”

Funny, for the woman to be preaching about what constitutes as rude and what doesn't. Wait, can you hold on a minute, my character is trying to breathe. It was definitely an anti-climatic start to their fight but Steph 'severely brain damaged' Zenima was not often hit in the stomach. Most of her opponents preferred to take out their frustrations on her addiction-addled face.

“...bloody...hell...”

Probably shouldn't let her catch her breath though, or she'll come back, with greater rage.

The hammer pushed down and struck the female Czar in her helmet, with a thud and a crack the hit sent the woman onto her back denting her helmet. And even cutting her underneath the helmet from the impact of the hammer. Falling to hr back for but a moment her world was rocked by the tiny commando and it came as a surprise to her, she was actually hit and this was what it was like to be in a fight. She had to move though and quickly her punch had stunned the woman and she went on babbling about some gibberish that she normally spat on about. This opportunity couldn't be passed up on, and being the young czar that she was she hadn't quite adjusted to all the augmentations and her new size.

Kipping herself up she returned to her feet and and made sure her sword was firmly in hand, the pint sized girl was wordy and she hated it. Keeping her thoughts and words to herself the voice of her smart armor came on around in her helmet "Damage report, left lobe compromised. Helmet structural integrity sixty percent." the voice informed her before she returned back to the real world. Standing back up in her fighting stance she readied for another go, she allowed @[member="Steph Zenima"] a chance to catch her breath. She wasn't trying to kill her just teach the little one a lesson.

Circling and sizing her opponent up the czar grasped her blade tight and went in for a slash aimed at steph's torso if connected it would tear through her horrible clothes and put a nasty gash in her skin for her to remember daisy by. She would hurt the junkie and show her what true power was.

What a noble woman. Letting Steph Zenima catch her breath. It's not very likely she'll return the favour, should you need a favour, naturally.

Her stoic nature was one that would grate against the nattering insanity of Havoc Squad's liability. There were often jokes about how they needed their own translator to understand the woman's dialect but it was just a matter of working out phonetics. A woman of no education who learned how to speak only through sound and not through reading. Plus, she was from one of the slums of Nar Shaddaa, not the most skilled linguists hail from there.

Slowly but surely, the oxygen returned and it once again felt as if she could breathe like an ordinary person once again.

Dropping her sledgehammer, Steph would resort to her quicker weapons. Those fists. Fists of fury. Fists of rage. Malformed hammers of scarred flesh. It wouldn't be so effective against an armoured opponent but Zenima wasn't exactly the smartest creature on the go.

She hopped backwards, not wishing to be sliced open just yet and then in the blink of an eye one her signature moves came out to play. You see. Steph Zenima liked to make up for height differences by jumping and clinging onto her enemies like a feral koala. So she leapt at Daisy, hoping to grab onto her armour.

She was truly mad, dropping your best chance of winning for tiny deformed fists that wouldn't make a dent in even the armor. Pulling back some daisy studied her tiny little foe with great curiosity. What would lead her to make such a rash and dare she say stupid decision. Keeping her form and flawless footing she continued to study the pint sized trooper, but that would have to wait. This was a beat down not a classroom

But in her distraction she lowered her guard slightly, the tiny woman had latched on to her armor and was going for a ride. Her reaction chip set pulled her arms out with seconds and embraced the woman back her strengthened muscles squeezing her tight as if a grizzly were giving her a welcoming hug home with all it's strength. With katana in hand still she threw it near her and prepared for the next move that could possibly kill Steph.

Body slam, a classic and brutal move that would put the woman underneath the weight of three hundred plus pounds of the woman in armor. Jumping up a few feet in the air she let go of the girl only for a few moments on their descent down to crush the woman beneath her if they both hit the ground. She would make the woman bleed and show her who were the top soldiers of the galaxy. That's If she didn't find a way from underneath the czar.

Upon reflection, her last move had been a mistake.

The bear hug wasn't pleasant, in fact, it was on the opposite side of pleasant it was more along the lines of horrific. Believe me, Miss Zenima had been bear hugged by Wookiees and bear hugged by Gamorreans but this woman topped both species. She was just so god damned strong, and Steph just wasn't slippery enough.

“.....naaaaAHHH....ARE YOU.....A....BLOODY MUTANT?!”

Thankfully she was not a tube of toothpaste, so her head didn't get the chance to pop off just yet.

Not-so-thankfully, it was time to enter wrestling school. Now, who was going to win this bout? The giant armoured woman or the malnourished un-armoured short woman? That seems like a really tough decision. There were no fantastic feats of acrobatics, oh no. Steph took the slam. She took the slam like a champ. The full weight of the other woman was crushing, for a brief moment Zenima thought about writing a will, of course, then she remembered that she couldn't read or write.

There were definitely some broken ribs there, a surprise that her back wasn't broken but hell, she was a tenacious little scruff.

“....aah....is that ah ye've got....? Ahahahaaaa...”

Was she laughing?

Well she had heart, or drugs, lots and lots of drugs. The small woman was crushed beneath her, it looked like it had hurt a lot. Daisy stood up and looked down at the small woman coldly. She had been taught her lesson and would surly not be late again after her trip to the hospital. Daisy cocked her head to study the small girl and sighed, she was next to no match for the czar and she would of felt sorry for her if not being a sociopath.

Walking over to her sword she picked it up and looked over at her remaining silent, she was truly some sort of freak of nature. Not only was she goading the woman but she was laughing as well. putting the sword back in its rightful place in her back the woman walked over to her and squat near her frail body. "I could always stab you." she said giving forth a helping hand for the woman.

Though upon giving said helping hand she reached to her vest and pulled out the small bayonet that was supposed to attatch itself to her IAS rifle. She would have no funny business unless the woman wanted more which she clearly did. Her hand still remained in front of @[member="Steph Zenima"] to try and offer some what form of a truce, but knowing the mad woman and her files she was unpredictable and rash.

Never assume that Steph Zenima had learned her lesson.

“Ye...could stab me, mate,” she said with great deals of mirth in her voice, “ah'd still be laughin' mind ye.” It was strange. At this moment in time Zenima was actually surprisingly coherent, more so than usual. I mean, she was still speaking a butchered version of galactic basic but it wasn't all shouts and roars.

Glancing at the woman's bayonet, Steph offered her sickest smile. Teeth chipped, missing or half rotted by years of abuse flashed at Daisy, the smile of the psychopath. “'Fit ye...gonnae do wi' 'at?” Before second thoughts could be made, the short woman grabbed the giant's hand. “Ahm nae scared.” Not scared, just very stupid.

With her half-intelligible piece said and done with Steph pulled herself towards the giant, or rather rocketed towards her, head first actually. You'd think with the threat of being stabbed that you know, you wouldn't lead an attack with the vital block that sat on your shoulders. Actually common sense would dictate that you wouldn't attempt to headbutt somebody with stronger bones, wearing a helmet but common sense went out the window a long time ago.

So Steph Zenima attempted that headbutt, the little train who could, or maybe couldn't.

Head meet zodiac heavy plate armor, heavy plate armor meet future depressed skull fracture. The woman had rocketed her head towards daisy and it even caught her by surprise. She was still learning to use her augmentations and reaction chip sets and sensory packages but this was just a no brainer. The puny one would regret taking Daisy's kindness for a weakness. This was going to hurt the both of them due to the already existing dent in her armor but as long as little one got the point.

Cocking her head back daisy would meet the woman with greater force to the head. This was going to hurt slightly but it was nothing they both couldn't handle. Well at least something daisy could, pushing forward her head collided with steph's with a hard crack, the dent in the armor scrapped across her skin opening a small gash in her forehead where a bit of blood ran freely behind her helmet. Though she can't imagine what her drug addled brain and skull had felt.

Though she was busy in the headbutt daisy would take this chance to try and cripple the girl and keep her from trying to fight. Sending her hand holding the bayonet out forward she more or less guessed where steph's tiny malnurished leg was trying to make a clean cut through the bone and flesh. Maybe in another life steph would of been a good candidate for the program. But now she was just a pint sized brawler who needed to be shown her place.

Welcome to the frenzy.

Upon sweet impact the short woman roared. Was it for victory? For battle? For pain? Hard to say. Plucking out motives from Miss Zenima's mind was like fishing for banthas in a lava lake on Mustafar, it's just not worth the time and energy.

Her unprotected head split open, and her wretched diseased blood began to pour down her face in great quantities. Head wounds were always so dramatic. However the woman did not recoil, I'm not entirely sure what she was trying to achieve, I mean it was like mountain goats butting heads, y'know if one of the mountain goats was a giant moose. She was going to get overpowered, every single time.

Not to mention the bayonet.

The woman managed to move her leg, but not enough. The bayonet cut in, thankfully not getting a bite on the femoral artery but still fairly deep. That one hurt. Her cranial assault would have to be set aside for the time being. Falling down onto one knee, the look that Steph shot the large woman was one of a feral beast.

Broken ribs, a busted skull and a nice sweet gash, but still she wasn't done. “IT'S EASY TAE HIDE AHIND YER ARMOUR, EH?!” She was never done.

"Maybe you should wear the one issued to you." She said to the woman, daisy was rather impressed with the small woman's tenacity. But the better question was where was her armor? Havoc was issues some top of the line stuff but she carried around a trashy hammer and rags for clothes. She probably sold it for spice, is what daisy thought to herself. She was hurt and the only real way to put down steph was to kill her, that much was clear. However she couldn't do that for the sake of the alliance and the poor junkie's blood wound contaminate her sword lets be honest steph was a walking std.

In fact was she even doing outside of the wire of the FOB without wearing any armor? The company first sergeant had made it a standing order that any one out of camp would need to be wearing their gear. It was really all part of training, but that also was a thought and a question for another time. She would have to try and let steph feel like too much of a goat fighting a moose some way though.

Rolling off to the side the woman stood and dropped her weapons, she wouldn't take off her helmet and risk being contaminated from her. That was one of her main weaknesses, in order for her body to accept the augmentations she needed to take drugs that would lower her immune system so her body wouldn't tear itself apart form the inside out. Taking up a fighting stance she waited for steph to make her next move, she would take her with her fists.

Good point.

The woman seemed to neglect her Havoc Squad armour to a ridiculous degree. There were occasions where she did don the iconic white and orange suit but the helmet, the helmet must have had all manners of spiders living inside of it. It was a matter of comfort. She felt drowned in armour, being so used to her torn and stained clothing. Free movement. Terrible smell though.

We need some inspiration, the woman dug into her pocket. There was something wet in there, she would find out what that was later (if she was still alive), but not, she pulled forth a small bag. You know it's spice. No time and no tables to lay it out upon and to cut it into nice little lines. Eh, she had so little regard for her body, why should her nostrils get pampered?

Her snout dived into her own personal trough. Inhaling quite possibly a dangerous amount of mixed spice. I mean, damn, she was mixing her spice. Had she absolutely no care or consideration for her body?

She limped towards Daisy, fists raised and trembling. A mixture of pain, adrenaline and narcotics flowing through her system. Steph looked insane. Her face was a mask of blood, granules littering the area around her nose, stuck to the sweet red liquid.

A quick step forward, the girl rocketed her bleeding leg towards Daisy's stomach, hoping to drive a boot into that armoured gut.

Okay this was just sad now, she was snorting up spice a substance that would easily get her kicked out of the military. Not only was it illegal in the republic but most of the galaxy as well, daisy was so taken by surprise by the little woman's drug addiction she was just standing there gawking at her from behind her helmet. "Really?" she said still trying to wrap her augmented brain on what she would do next. It was certainly a situation you didn't find yourself in everyday. Watching a small pint sized malnurished commando who had acces to free food snort up spice in a barren field outside of a FOB.

Then that's when it happened, a boot came directly to her stomach. It hit her hard with enough force to wind her, buckling backwards daisy coughed and gasped for air. Obviously nothing was broken but she was definetly moving backwards from the hit. Regaining her calm cold self she looked at the woman with a rage bubbling from her. That was the straw that broke the camels back and she would not take a kick from some drug addled psycho who fancied herself a soldier. She was trained too well to let that crap happen.

With deadly precision the woman sprinted towards steph attempting to lift her up in the air by her hips and slam her to emerge ground before mounting her for some ground and pound action. She would hold back of course, using her full strength would certainly kill her from caving in her face, but it would hurt a lot If connected @[member="Steph Zenima"]

Havoc Squad had really been skirting the edges of sanity lately. Violence. Death. There was no sight of mercy. The Republic-based commandos had gradually been becoming more and more unhinged, the horrors of war, friends lost and of course certain members were brought aboard simply because they were loose cannons. Human grenades. Shock troops. The life expectancy wasn't great but somehow Steph Zenima was still breathing.

The kick hit, and it did something...but not enough.

If Steph were to survive for more than forty seconds then she'd have to start moving, there was no way that the poor excuse for a human could keep taking hits from this woman and keep standing up. She dived off to the side, avoiding what would have been a brutal slam.

Her ribs cried out in agony from the sudden movement. Soon. The spice would kick in anew and the pain would be dulled. She would feel invincible even if she was far from it. In that moment Zenima looked insane, crouched on all fours sometimes she was more beast than human.

Once again she went on the assault (returning to two feet first), like the raging bull she charged again, leaping into the air and bringing down both of those hammerhead fists downwards at the woman's head. Of course, this was probably a bad idea. If Daisy caught her in leap again it would be more than a few ribs.

Daisy lifted her arms in the shape of an X above her head to quickly meet the tiny woman's little fists. The force hit her armor hard and even made a crack in her Bonemer plated skeletal structure bellow. She was strong and now more than likely feeling invincible from the all the spice she had just took in. Daisy had to bring her back down to earth though in more ways then one. She could pummel and wail on steph for hours without making her stop, she was flying way too high to feel any of it anymore. This was not going to be a fun day for either of them.

It was almost cartoonish to see, the block in the shape of an X and it holding in mid air for a few seconds. But thinking back to her days at the academy daisy remembered one of her favorite things to do to pass the time. Volleyball, a simple sport that required stamina strength and will power to keep pushing and dig deep. She would make all those hours of playing finally pay off in this encounter. She was a top player at the navel academy and steph, well steph was about to be the ball.

Arching her arms straight back behind her, daisy was about to serve the steph back to the other team. Quickly shooting her arms forward she aimed to obliterate steph's rib cage with her two giant open palms that soared straight for her chest. Daisy packed enough punch to all but team rocket the spice head's crazy ass if they connected into hit as planned. It was not fancy in anyway but if you had a rocket launcher and you needed to kill a rabbit you would use it. @[member="Steph Zenima"]

Bones in her own hands shattered upon impact, but she was too deep now. This was beast mode, shouting and snarling. Blood and saliva combined to make a beautiful concoction to be sprayed upon Daisy's armour. When she returned to a state of normality Little Miss Zenima was going to hurt, but then again when did she not? Did spice not take away the pain in the first place? Without it the universe was crushing agony. She needed narcotics to just feel normal, to feel safe.

Although, I don't know how being a volleyball constitutes as feeling safe.

This hit was brutal. If there was a net then the woman probably would have sailed over it before landing in a crumpled heap on the ground. I have a feeling that this strike was going to be harder to get up from.

Why, you ask?

Well, it wasn't actually the decimated remains of her ribs that was the problem. A ragged gasp rang out. Had she been winded again? She coughed, brutal and rasping. No. Not winded. Breathing was difficult, but not impossible. It was actually worse. Pierced lung. Shattered rib punctured that bad boy.

But she struggled back up to her feet, because that's who she was.

If this didn't stop soon Zenima was likely to die, but no, she wouldn't stop, she'd never stop. Hobbling over to her sledgehammer the area right behind her eyes tingled slightly, there was a peculiar feeling of warmth with an overall aura of numbed pain. Picking up her weapon, she stood her ground and gave Daisy a nod. Come at me, bro. That's what it screamed.

She would have communicated it with garbled words but then Steph began to cough violently once more.
