So, myself and a few others are looking to do a thread where we take the control (or at least have random events) controlled by a force other than the writer.
How does one do that you say?
Let me introduce you to my friend (and sometimes nemesis), the:
The premise is simple. A ragtag group of people of varying backgrounds are put into a scenario/hired to do a job, and each important action or action that would technically be out of a persons control is decided by the roll of the dice. (i.e. the success of slicing a terminal, the odds of hitting that bandit with a blaster shot, whether there will be enemies down the hallway on your left).
You don't have to let the dice decide whether your character lives or dies, but it's a fun way of bringing in a unique element beyond your characters control.
