Trumpets playing. People cheering. Soldiers marching. "Yay!" they shout. "Protectorate!" they chant. Ava only looked at the parade, hoping everything goes well. This time, she had initiated the parade to be brought to the planet. She had had the responsibility of making all of that go well, and now only she could was to watch how it goes, and provide any additional aid if there was need for that.
Fire can protect them.
Ava and Commander Corek were behind the parade. Without him, the girl would have no idea of what to do. She was the one who brought the Protectorate to the planet, but she was in no position of organising the whole event without any help. And this time, the Commander had given her a helping hand.
Fire is a shield.
Flyers flew all around the place with messages about the faction's supremeness and recruiting intentions. They were an essential part to the success of holding Kro Var under its control, at least for a while. They had to know the faction didn't want anything bad. They had to know they live their own lives, but have some additional defense forces around.
Fire brings safety.
She stood on a terrace, watching the soldiers performing their march routines which showed that the soldiers didn't only have discipline and cruelty, but also creativity to follow certain patterns. But as soon as the woman understood Corek was not right next to her, she started to worry. Where was he? What was he doing right now? What if something happens? Or maybe she was just seeing illusions and the man was actually right next to her?
