Can anyone possibly give me a brief synopsis of what happened to the Galactic Empire here?

The only active Imperial major faction was the imperial Remnant. However; they're currently going minor again due to inactivity and I don't believe they have any active roleplayers as their FO is on LOA.

As suggested above, the One Sith has been a haven for Empire roleplay. Especially those interested in roleplaying as stormtroopers and such... Not to mention they own Coruscant.

Alternatively, The Primeval--since owning Bastion--have had some Imperial-esque RP development and I personally have an OOC fascination with its lore and storyline.

Since this character is currently on-hold pending the Battle of Geonosis, I've been toying with the idea of creating an Imperial character. Possibly a resurgence of the Remnant with the aspiration of rebuilding the Empire?
