- Standard Issue: Dirt cheap, easy to maintain and rigidly reliable the Imperial Strike Force armor is ideal issue to large swathes of the New Imperial Order military, possessing adept defense against most conventional weapons systems, especially in the case of kinetic and explosive weapons, able to protect the wearer from otherwise lethal force.
- Positive Charge: In the wake of offering higher blaster and kinetic protection compared to mass produced armors of the same class, it can't stand up to disruptor fire nor can it do much to glance or absorb a cut from a lightsaber - prizing fortification against the most commonly faced weapons in large scale warfare.
Though the Storm Armor Mk. IV is the mainline armor of the New Imperial Order Stormtrooper Corps, the Strike Force Combat Armor is the panoply of war utilized en masse by the New Imperial Order's military, being distributed in some form to every detachment of the New Imperial Military ranging from planetary defense garrisons to most facet of any infantry group within the Army and Armada.
