Description: A new variant of the Imperial Shuttle, the T-6b Imperial Shuttle is a descendant of the T-4a Lambda class transport featured as the iconic vessel for the Empire. Now in a new age, a new situation, and a need to develop craft to protect and carry around important military staff and leaders with the Remnant trying to rise without incident, the T-6b Omega Shuttle has now been put into production.
While carrying fewer passengers than the Theta class T-2c of long ago, as well as boasting fewer weapons, the T-6b is a significant improvement over the Lambda class transport in armaments at the very least. In addition the T-6b Omega Shuttle boasts reflective coating on all its surfaces, making light reflection more difficult and sensor readings more difficult, though to a significantly less extent than sensor jamming and Nightshadow coating allows. Mostly because the Nightshadow currently collected went to another project.
The Omega class also sports thrust dampeners too, to further increase its ability to evade detection. For it is the opinion of the designers of the T-6b that to better protect members of state and elite troops it is better to have them avoid being targeted at all, rather than chance them by creating a ship to outgun or outlast enemy attack. However, this has led to the Omega class having thinner armor plating to enable the reflective coating to be more effective.
