  • Weight: Light
  • Resistances:
    • Energy: High
    • Kinetic: High
    • Lightsabers: Low
    • Other: elemental (average), ION (average), acid (average)

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Utility Belt: a high-tension wire, Two grappling hooks, four spare blaster rifle power packs, three ion flares, energy rations, a spare C1 military comlink hardwired against jamming, three water packs, two medpacs, two blast energy sinks, a thermal detonator, combat de-ionizer, wrist binders for capturing prisoners, electronic lock scrambler/descrambler.
  • Backplate: additional communications gear, cooling systems, mortar launchers, additional rations, An encrypted telemetry transmitter (a small embedded disc that allowed troopers to identify friend from foe amidst identically armoured stormtroopers), rechargeable cells that fed energy to the armour's electronic components, with a standard charge lasting 240 hours

STRENGTHS

  • Light enough to give mobility and manoeuvrability, not compromising movement for travelling, marching or combat situations.
  • Provides decent protection against weathering.
  • Practically blaster proof, capable to protect against most kinds of pistols and rifles.

WEAKNESSES

  • Not a complete armour set. Just chest, gloves and armlets. No helmet. Waist, legs and feet are just reinforced padded leather.
  • The extended air supply that permitted a stormtrooper to survive up to twenty minutes in vacuum (in the backplate) doesn't work, since the set is not complete

DESCRIPTION

After abandoning the Imperial Army, it would matter much rather he get a new set of armour of keep the same one he used during his time. Most of the set was already beaten down and old, so he decided to just repair and refurbish the chest, gloves, armlets and belt. The rest he dumped, so he could invest the rest of his credits in weapon and starship upgrades. Also most people would not recognize him as an Imperial without the helmet. That was the biggest giveaway. He also changed the colour, painting it in black graphite / dark grey. Not only would make it hard to promptly recognize him as an ex-Imperial, but also would help to cover and smudge the Imperial symbol in one the the shoulder pads.

Very simple, but good solution. However I found some problems with the resistances:
  • Blunt weapons, piercing non-vibroweapon, slashing non-vibroweapon vibroweapons - These are all kinetic resistances. so please delete them and keep only the simple kinetuc.
  • And my concern is the Backplate special feature and the weakness. These are opposite to each other. If the armour is not sealed entirely you cannot survive in vacuum, only for seconds. Didn't you mean an environment that was hostile or had an atmosphere that the character cannot breathe instead of the vacuum?

Didn't know that all those and kinetic meant the same thing. Okay, gonna fix it.
