Kaldor Drakken, Clone Template

[ After the successful start of Project: Genesis and the end of the Second Great Hyperspace War, the Vandemarians required a new field army, realising that the raising and breeding of the Grand Legion would take much more time than expected, they opted in for additional cloning facilities, less elaborate but still highly sophisticated. Despite a high-rolling production of Skytroopers, the Hegemon and more imperialist-voices demanded a sentient army for more mundane and ordinary tasks to be deployed and created.

So the Imperial Guard Corps was born. Through sped up cloning processes and after a strong selection for the clone template, the program started and within two years the first batch of Clones was ready. They could not claim the same proficiency as the Grand Army of the Republics clones due to their shorter training time, but were ready faster and would be armed with new arms and armour and trained by the template and his associates, a mercenary group led by a Death Trooper and consisting of several other mercenaries and Mandalorians additionally as to receiving training and joint drills with the established elements of the Grand Legion.

As basic unit for operational planning the Legion was established, similar in size to the GAR and Stormtrooper Legion, the other organisaiton was implemented as well, simplistic but effective.

By extension and demand, the Clones would also be available to the remnants of the Empire, the Imperial Military Protectorate and its close allies. ]
