Ilum crystal hunt (Matsu Ike)

Today was the day after so many days it was finally time for the hunt for a crystal to start for Brook. She had already acquired some really cool gloves from her master and now she was ready to begin start looking for her crystal. It was going to day like never before.

When Brook rolled out of bed she looked at herself in the mirror and for once didn't mind the fact that she was short. She felt prideful of all the things she had accomplished through her days since Matsu had found her in that mall. She smiled at herself before taking a shower and getting dressed. She then reached over to her nightstand and grabbed the gloves Matsu had given her slipping the right one on her hand and the left in her pocket. She then left the room to find Matsu.

Matsu was more then happy to travel around with her padawan and the Botany Bay was well getting some nice things. They had a number of systems being upgraded but more the that there were creatures and more things being brought into the ship itself. Waters from the wellspring stored within the ships garden and run through and through to feed the trees and plants. She had some animals in there like the lovely jako pups that were being raised inside and droids toi clean up after them. They could prove invaluable and work on growing crystals within the ship that could be harvested and used. Was also something to look into while she rolled out of her bed and got dressed plainly. Exiting the room while they were headed off to get her padawan crystals

As Brook made her way to Matsu she began to speak "Master do you think it would be possible for me to get a pet?"

Matsu looked at the padawan she she was standing there. Her sarashi on and shorts for sleeping all she really needed while her legs were covered in scars and tattoo's same as her arms minus her neck and parts that would generally show in a robe. The jedi master raised an eyebrow. "A pet, yes you could get one."

"What kind would you recommend?" Brooklyn asks noting the tattoos

"Well a pet is hard, and for a jedi it is even more so. You have to factor in the important things like time management and what it will do while you are gone." She was looking over some of the things with her ttention. "I have droids to take care of my ropo's and jako beasts. They make lovely pets."

"What are Jako beasts?"

Matsu was looking at her. "They are force sensitive animals that are on several worlds you can visit." She said it with a smile on her face though and had some pups for herself while she was on the ship. The garden was a nice place to go and visit before she looked over some of the things.

Arriving on the planet the jedi master was happy, she had come here with her niece and helped her and now with a padawan she could do much while getting one of the circlets out. "Use this to protect against the cold and we will be able to head out."

Brook takes it and puts it on as her master instructs.

Matsu looked at her as she was leading the way through the ship now. With all of the work they had been doing towards some of the things she had managed to get a good landing zone with Sasori researchers on the planet. Slowly leading the way down the ramp as the remnants of Natasi's domain was there in front of them leading down into the crystal caves. "Now it is up to you to reach out and find your crystal."

Brook feels something pull on her soul so she takes off in the direction it pulls

Matsu looked at the girl as she headed off and the jedi master waited there for a few moments. Letting her energies focus on some of the other things they had while seeing some of the larger crystals she could polish. This wasn't about her it was about Brooklyn and so she could wait and let her find her crystal here in the caves.

Brook followed her gut with her eyes closed

Matsu stood there waiting to see what the girl did, she didn't have much to go on and remained still and silent. Her sabers were on her hip as she was looking and feeling them in the force with their crystals.

Brooklyn took off running straight into the woods and then straight into a pit luckily there was water at the bottom but it made no difference she broke her arm on the way down

Matsu raised an eyebrow at the girl as she went off. Taking a moment to try and figure out how a snow world like Ilum known for its weather being planet wide had a forest and she was failing a little. She was also questioning somewhat how accident prone the girl seemed to be not using the force in basic ways as an aura to prevent small injuries.

"hey you up there?" She called painfully

She was looking down at her and raising an eyebrow to look down at her. She was holding some of the crystals from the caves they had been in. "Yes I am, just trying to figure out how you are always hurting yourself and finding the strangest places. A forest and hole in the middle of a cave surrounded by layers of ice on a world in permanent winter blizzards."
