Antecedent. This place held a few recent and dear memories that Skylar hoped to never forget. Shaking herself out of her reverie, the young pickpocket looked out at the crowded street in front of her. Vendors called out to the passing people to buy their wares or to buy some food. Skylar had felt the need to go out and pickpocket as she once had on Nar Shaddaa, so the vendors were nothing but background noise as she focused and picked out a few people who looked like easy grabs.

Before all of this of course, she had disguised herself as a young pilot, now blending in with the crowd of tourists, locals, soldiers, and businessmen. Making short work of her self-imposed mission, Sky turned and saw the perfect last target - a man with the air and aura of a soldier - looking around like he was lost and unsure of where to go. Now this could be very interesting.

Sergeant Valkren Calderon did not know much about Antecedent. He had not once been sent there on a mission or a deployment. So the knowledge he had about this planet was much on the short side. So far, he didn't like it. Instead of his usual, specialized heavy assault armor with it's white plating and grey tinting, he sported his service uniform with a ragged workout tee underneath his jacket. His service cap was pulled down tightly so that his eyes could just be seen barely. As he moved swiftly through the groups of civilians and off-duty soldiers, his jacket would move gently to the side as he turned his body to an angle that allowed him to slip between a pair of market-vendors. As his jacket moved, it'd reveal his service blaster that was held firmly in the grip of his holster.

There was only one difference between Valkren and the rest of the soldiers that made their ways throughout the large crowds, was that he was no ordinary soldier. Valkren Calderon was one of the last Republic Commandos that was not a clone. Him and Saber team had been operating under the command of Colonel [member="Weiss"] for the past several months and had shown great prowess in the field of battle. Now, they were on Antecedent inbetween jumps, and Valkren had grown bored. His team was still getting some R&R of their own, and Valkren wanted to find out what the bar scene was like.

Sky neared her target, and as his features became more defined, it was clear that he had decided to keep on walking. As he brushed past a lovestruck couple, his jacket moved to reveal his gun, and his wallet. Sky zeroed in and began casually following the tall man as he looked around for something.

Won't even know what hit him. Sky thought as she finally caught up to the man. She quickly relieved the man of his wallet and slipped in a note where it had been. Once that was done, she slipped her way through the crowd and towards the location written on it, hoping the man would take the hint.

Valkren felt something brush against his jacket. He thought for a minute to look over his shoulder to see who or what it was that he had accidentally brushed into, expecting to hear a 'sorry' or a 'my fault, buddy.' Then he recalled that he was in a large crowd, the amount of people that had shoulder-charged him without saying a damn thing were countless. He just found it strange that whoever he hit this time hadn't ending up on the ground, cursing at him for a lawsuit or the sorts. The commando walked abit further before figuring he'd brush his hand over his weapon, it made him feel abit confident for some reason, knowing he had the power to take a life. To end a creation that had been living and breathing for so long..It made him feel in power. That's when he realized it.

My wallet!

The commando quickly ripped out all the contents of his pockets, letting them fall to the ground. He kept this up until he witnessed something fall that wasnt there before. The note. He leaned over, swiping up the note with haste and furiously opening it. With a fire lit in his eyes, he scanned over the note, crumpling it up with anger as he realized what had happened. Being pickpocketed was the lowest of the low for special forces of the Republic. It was practically a slap in the face. With a fire in his eyes and haste in his steps, he started jogging off in the direction of the bar that was listed on the note.

"You wanna play games..Let's play, sithspit." He'd say to himself, making his way.

Finally making it to the Glow Spider, Skylar found her way to an empty table and sat down with her back to the wall facing the front. She ordered a Corellian ale and leaned back against the seat, content to wait until the man arrived.

Sky could picture the look on the man's face when he found his wallet missing, and chuckled at the thought.

This game was just about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Valkren made his way into the Glow Spider with his brow furrowed and his steps hastened, stopping in place as he reached the first step down into the cantina. The commando would place one hand onto his hip, the other forming a fist and sticking his thumb directly out, using it to tip his service cap back onto the rear of his head. His short, military-cut could be seen now, the shadow that covered most of his face due to the brim of the cap was now gone. His features were more clear now, more defined besides the fact that he had a good bit of scruff covering the lower half of his face. You could almost call it a beard, but not fully yet. It was pretty clear he had shaven maybe a few days ago, but had yet to keep up with a regular regiment of clean-cut army-style. Perhaps he didn't care about the occasion, it wasn't like he was reporting to anyone special here in this cantina, or even the city. Hell, he hardly shaved for the Colonel.

Although, he usually only talked to the Colonel in combat..Maybe he was just letting it slip by..

Nahhhh.

The Sergeant took a few more steps down until he made it to even ground, moving his other hand to his hip aswell, his jacket being pushed back on both sides and catching behind the holster that held his side arm. As he grew abit closer to the thief, wherever he or she was, it had to be clear that from this distance he was starting to look abit different from the average soldier. A lot bigger..To say the least. He'd grind his teeth slowly as he took a look around, making eye contact with [member="Skylar Ichor"] for a brief second.

Sky started when the man she had pick-pocketed, or the man she assumed she had pick-pocketed, walked in. He now had the look of a very pissed off soldier, or kinda. Maybe the note was a little too much. This guy could probably kill her with his fist, seeing how built he was. Then, he shows the weapon, a very scary pistol.

Feth.. I'm screwed if this guy gets anymore pissed off than he already looks. As [member="Valkren Calderon'"]s eyes met her's, she raised an eyebrow and flashed a smirk, not wanting her hoplophobia to be apparent as he was not the only one in the room with a blaster, or multiple blasters, on their person. She waited for the man's next move.

Valkren simply shifted his gaze back to catch the gaze of none other than [member="Skylar Ichor"]. He stood there for several moments, reasoning if she was staring at him simply for the fact that there weren't many uniformed soldiers in the cantina that they were both in. Then it clicked..

She stole my karkin' wallet.

The commando made his way down the stairs and towards this female thief. She looked to be a pilot of sorts, and..Did she have a drink at the table? Valkren grew even more furious, but he hid it, keeping a facial expression of surprise and alittle bit of anger. As he made his way to the table, he folded his arms across his chest, his broad shoulders pulling the coat up slightly and displaying part of his weapon.

"What do you think you're doing, miss?"

Sky kept looking at the man until his eyes snapped back to hers. Her cool act dropped in surprise for one second before she could stop it, but it was the only thing he needed to see. The man zeroed in on her and began to walk over.

Crap, crap, he knows, crap.. Sky kept her face in the same expression as before, keeping eye contact and trying to keep the same relaxed look, acting as if nothing had happened. In response to his question, she leaned back in the seat and took a swig from the mug, feigning innocence.

"Not exactly sure what you mean, soldier, but here, have a seat and get yourself something to drink. No use having a grump face, I'll pay."
