History
Ilias, the elder in a set of identical twins, was born of unknown parentage some fifty-one years prior to the Battle of Yavin. He was adopted along with his brother, and given the name of Jefsran Ollisen. At the age of two, it became apparent that the toddler was not a ‘normal’ child, when at his touch, one day, a cut his mother had suffered healed and disappeared. This made his mother afraid, even angry - the beliefs of her family meant that she harboured ill sentiment for force users, and thus, demanded that her husband deal with ‘it’... she meant for him to die. Fortunately for the young, ginger-haired boy, his father had other ideas and secreted the boy away to the Jedi on Coruscant, where he would grow and learn, becoming a strong, steady Jedi - taking the name of Ilias Nytrau.
At puberty, his K'paur heritage came to the fore, and it worried the masters. It was as if there were a beast inside him, trying to claw its way out. Ilias had to fight a battle for control of his mind and body, and thankfully, he succeeded. This control is paramount, and he cannot live in civil society without it. He trained almost ceaselessly, becoming a strong warrior and valued healer for the Jedi Order, until the Clone Wars, and the fateful Order 66. After this, he went into hiding, making a life for himself far from the reach of the Galactic Empire. For most of the following eight-hundred years, he worked as he had been raised to do, ever upholding the tenets of being a Jedi, despite having to bury family and many friends over the centuries.
He traveled far and wide, eventually coming to the planet of Tyntia, almost beyond the reach of the galaxy, electing to settle in one place for a while, on the basis of the peace he felt there. Ilias founded an academy in the mountain ranges of the world, remained on Tyntia, instructing generations of adepts, and gained membership among one of the tribes of the planet. He learned their ways, adopted much of their religion as his own, and was content. Until, that is, the day came that he felt it was time to travel once again. The Force, it seemed, had called him out into the galaxy, as it pulled itself from the ravages of the Gulag Plague. A Jedi's work is never done.
Nowadays, Ilias is simply a representative of the Jedi Academy Network, and is likely to appear wherever Jedi congregate, to train, advise, and render aid.
