Private If One is To Understand the Great Mystery.......

The sands of Tash-Taral paled in comparison to Korriban. With Korriban there was history where the Sith survived and thrived the Dark Side thrums through the whole planet. It was bliss, it was eternity until the Jedi defeated the Sith on their home planet. While Tash-Taral was still a planet where there were plenty of Sith artifacts, it paled in comparison to Korriban. Darth Sorn walked through the hot desert in search for an hidden Holocron said to contain knowledge on how to influence the midi-chlorians in order to create life. It would be a boon to uncover this lost history and even learn for himself. Eternal life was something the Sith have been searching endlessly for even though some Sith throughout history had lived past their biological lifespan it wasn't same as their bodies became decrepit. No, only a few had came close to eternal life and Sorn was curious about midi-chlorian manipulation.

Armed with his light armor and his double bladed Lighsaber on his belt, Sorn approached a small town where he decided to take a break and quench his thirst first before setting out to find the Sith ruin. The Force will grant him victory this day he can feel it.

Kira Starwalker Kira Starwalker

Since her awakening Kira had begun to wander the galaxy far from the edges of the Unknown Regions, and out into the open galaxy. Had learned of many recent events due to her blending in, going to the most habitable worlds to often find work, or answers as to what was happening. By far she had only learned that on and off for the past 60 years, the galaxy had been plagued with War and Death across the stars. Empires rising and falling both good and evil. Some had even went as far as to say, it was the Force itself awakened to continue the endless battle between Dark and Light. Kira felt the immense pull of the dark side. Even as thoughts of insanity plagued her mind. Her quest for answers about what pull meant, kept only increasing.

The same call of the darkness had now called to her to the very corners of the galaxy. From going from one side of the galaxy to the other one. Arriving to the world only known as Tash-Taral. Connected to one of the various Sith Factions that had now roamed the galaxy. No longer a unified Empire. There were whispers that the same Empire after rocked by a Civil War from the Imperials, viewed that a return to the old ways was in order. Tash Taral was said to be a birthplace for a new kind of Sith. She wondered if that same place was the call that she felt in the Force. The one that had wanted to consume her whole.

Landing along what seemed to be one of the only settlements. It was nothing more than what seemed to be a place of sparsely populated land. No different than perhaps a miner station along the worlds of the Outer Rim. She was dressed in no more than a pair of dark robes, even lacking a lightsaber. She seemed to be an ordinary wanderer of the galaxy. Her only weapon was the barbaric nature of the dark side that flowed through her veins. Eyes looked to her, even hushed whispers of the stranger seemed unnerving to Kira. Yet she remained hidden by her robes in an attempt to seek information about the planet. Perhaps to seek something out, an individual or perhaps even a purpose to this mysterious world.

Settling into the local cantina that was perhaps the only profitable place in town. She didn't even bother taking a drink yet, but to wait patiently at one of the more seedier corners of the place. A sneaky suspicion that the Force would guide her.

Darth Sorn Darth Sorn

The force was telling Sorn something something powerful was nearby.

Or perhaps someone who was unusually strong with the force. Closing his eyes Sorn reached out trying to seek out this power source but it eluded him as though it did not want to be caught. A smirk formed on Sorn's face as the wind picked up, he placed his dark hood close to his head protecting him from the grains of sand that pelted his ebony face. Tash-Taral was warmer than Korriban but still the Dark Side presided within this planet beating to the rhythm of life. Perhaps The Sith Empire losing Korriban in embarrassing fashion was a good thing, there was still so much about this planet that hasn't been discovered. The Warlords of the Sith suck their claim on to this planet immediately after the fall of Korriban, when Sorn left the Empire he vowed to continue his research. Rediscover lost knowledge that the Jedi tried to corral for themselves and then integrate with his own.

When he was a child, Darth Sorn was obsessed with the meaning of life and how to preserve it. Ever since he saw his parents die from a wasting disease, Sorn sought out a way to prolong his own life and become immortal but it wasn't just to become immortal but also increase his power within the Dark Side in ways that has never been seen before. There were many form that the Dark Side has taken place, yet the Sith often chooses the barbaric and the basic. His research has lead him to believe that the Dark Side is pure unadulterated power that only the Sith has scratched the surface. The Sith were not butchers, they were architects who use their power to control and dominate. "The answer is through the midiclorians," He murmured using the force to guide him through the mini sandstorm.

Oh yes, the midiclorians, it was amazing how much power in the force has been contained into a tiny cell. Sorn had yet to master over them but he recent experiments show that he was getting close to achieving it. Through the sandstorm, Sorn saw a small village ahead perhaps it was time to seek shelter and even find what the force was telling him. Power is only gained if one seeks it not just wait for it like the Sith Empire did.

Kira had no idea why she was here, or that the dark side had called upon her to come to this place. Even clad in dark robes eyes were on her. Not everyone on this planet was Sith, there ordinary folks of course, and those ordinary folks just happened to be curious of the new person that had walked into the cantina. She fidgeted within her seat, as she did not wish to gather unwanted attention, especially attention that would cause harm to her. All she was looking for within such a place was answers. Answers as to what had been drawing her here? Was it to someone, or some purpose. Something that she couldn't even tell, but the darkness that called to her, had brought her to this very moment, and that was all she knew.

For so far, she managed to scrape by acting as if merely a refugee of the recent conflicts that had been taking place. Not many cared to ask any questions, and those that did. Kira simply used the Force to get what she wanted, managing to avoid detection so far. It seemed unlikely that anyone would know of her, no matter what she did to gain any information that was beneficial to her. Anything at all that could possibly pertain to her origins, or why her mind seemed so fractured. At this point only the darkness had been a guide of sorts. Now it told her nothing, even as she sat at the corner of the cantina. Barely lit.

A droid approached her, asking her for what drink she wanted. She didn't speak for a moment, as she tried to decide what to get while she waited. If the journey was empty handed as she might have thought, it would be best to perhaps go for the harder stuff this time around. "I'll have a glass of Corellian Whiskey." She said in a quiet tone, the droid nodded and went about it's business. Leaving the amnesiac clone in a state of perpetual silence. Alone with her thoughts to contemplate her journey so far. Feeling the dark side course through her veins. She could understand why the Sith that broke away from the Empire found the world so unique, as if she could hear the very heart of darkness thump throughout the world, and she could feel every single beat growing more intense.

The wind howled outside, and so even more people came inside to escape the storm. Drinks were served, chatter to be had, cantina music filling up the room. The occasional round of Pazzaak. What seemed to be an ordinary day, although Kira had the strangest of feelings that there was nothing quite ordinary about it. Something told her that someone would approach, but who she did not know even as her eyes scanned around the room.

Darth Sorn Darth Sorn

"This village is so small,"

Darth Sorn snorted at the sight of this insignificant town, the people moisture farmers from the looks of them eking out a living on the land that holds more secrets and mysteries that their blind lives can barely comprehend. There were only a few buildings, about 20 by his Sorn's initial count, each looking worn down and covered by sand. A Labor Droid specifically an ASP-Series Labor Droid nearly bumped into the Sith Lord. Annoyed he gave the droid a dark stare and noticed that his neck was sparking with electricity. "Apologies my lord," he said. "With winds picking up at dangerous speeds it is getting tougher for my sensors to indicate movement.

At least the Droid showed manners, he was five seconds way from being reduced to scrap metal. Something that Sorn could scavenge to make gauntlets, based on Sorn's observations he had fresh durasteel. How a small village like this could afford such a Droid is a mystery. They've likely scavenged somewhere. Sorn gave a nod looking at the haggard faces of the locals, he sighed they needed help and what he learned over the years of traveling if you give a person a crumb then they'll worship the ground you walk on.

Perhaps when he comes back, he can give them cures for any diseases they might have or even give life to this force forsaken land. It'll be nice to have a fresh hand of servants to do his bidding even experiment on as well. He headed for the Cantina and was greeted by a blast of cool air, it was about time there was air conditioning in this awful village and the music wasn't half bad as well.

The Sith Lord also sensed a disturbance in the force this time it was as strong as it ever was. "What do you want?" Sorn muttered approaching the table. "Give me a Malt," he whispered to the bartender slapping a credit chit on the table.
