GENERAL INFORMATION
Name: Icsebore
Origins: New Cov
Other Locations: Icsbore can be grown in a variety of environments and are not completely exclusive to New Cov. The danger of these plants has limited their spread outside of that planet, however.
Classification: Flower
Average Growth Cycle: It takes two to three weeks to grow and bloom. Much like many other flowers in the galaxy, a Icsebore seed is planted into the ground, given plenty of water and nutrients, then will begin to grow it’s stem. The stem, a light green color, will eventually start to sprout little arms once it reaches it’s final height. From those arms, brillant, oval shaped, purple flowers sprout, typically 2-3 flower blooms per arm, and around 14-21 total.
Viability: This flower doesn’t need a lot of care to survive. A couple of inches of water per week, and some decently nutrient ridden soil will allow the Icsebore to grow to the fullest extent. They can drown if the soil they’re planted in gets too soaked, so this is something to keep in mind. They reproduce much like a parasite might. Icsebore can’t reproduce on it’s own. So it needs to be eaten then go through the digestive process for the seeds to move to a new location. That’s if the poison doesn’t kill whatever ate it first. The flower itself is pretty short lived, only blooming for a couple of months during the spring semester of the year.
Description: A small, green stemmed flower, with brilliantly purple flowers that dot it’s arms. It’s seeds a black, circular, thin thing that can be held pretty easily on the tip of your finger. The roots underneath the ground mirror the seeds color, being a deep black color.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Average Height: .2m - .5m tall
Average Length: N/A
Color: The flowers are a deep purple, the seeds are black, and the roots are also a deep black.
Nutritional Value: None.
Toxicity: In the Galactic Guide to Flowers, Moss, and other assorted plants, Icsebore has been named on the top 10 most poisonous plants in the galaxy. The flowers themselves aren’t the poisonous part. It’s the stem, seeds, and roots. When those are consumed, the poison directly attacks the neurological and cardiovascular system, shutting down more and more of it as more of the poison is consumed and ingested. This poison is most potent in it’s ground up, oil based form, where it has been used in assassination attempts in the galaxy for as long as the New Cov Biomolecule Company has existed.
Other Effects: The flowers, if ingested, can provide a very slight stomach ache relief. However, only eating the flower and none of the stem is quite difficult.
Distinctions: The biggest distinction for this plant is how poisonous it is and the odd coloring of it’s seeds and roots. There aren't many other plants in the galaxy that can shut down a normal sentient’s function quicker than Icsebore. Because of this, there are bands on growing the plant on many civilized plants in the galaxy. Luckily for it’s buyers, New Cov is more than happy to continue to export it during the seasons it grows.

Strengths:
Extremely poisonous: The people of New Cov and the New Cov Biomolecule Company highly recommend that only those with the proper training and equipment handle and ship Icsebore and their seeds. They won’t ask exactly where these seeds and roots are going, but they do give the heads up just how potent the poison from these flowers can be.
Limited time: For as deadly as these plants are, they have quite limited lifetimes and only grow a few months out of the year. This limits the spread of their poison significantly, although, once the roots and seeds are pasted, the oil can last for significantly longer.

Weaknesses:
Easily flooded: The flowers much be planted in soil that does not have a chance of being flooded, and the amount of water added to the plant must be monitored, or risk drowning the Icsebore and killing it before it ever blooms.
No real benefits: Outside of it’s poison, and a light stomach ache cure, there are really no benefits to growing this plant. That is, unless one has a need for some assassination or poisoning.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
For hundreds of thousands of years around the galaxy, Iscebore has been among the top of the list for any high level assassin for their tools of choice. The oil can be used as an ingredient in food, and without a very detailed analysis of the food, one would never know the oil was added. It can be used as tips of spears to add poisoning aspect to a stabbing wound. Shamira Kaurto has started up a contract with the New Cov Biomolecule company and the Mandragora to get a few small craters of the seeds whenever the flower is in season.

I'll be conducting this review for you. This is excellently detailed overall, there are just a few points that need clarification and further fleshing out.

1. Strengths and Weaknesses
Weaknesses:
Extremely poisonous: The people of New Cov and the New Cov Biomolecule Company highly recommend that only those with the proper training and equipment handle and ship Icsebore and their seeds. They won’t ask exactly where these seeds and roots are going, but they od give the heads up just how deadly these things are.

Species possessing extreme/unique powers, abilities, or attributes are advised to be balanced with suitable strengths and weaknesses. When creating your species consider actionable PvP related weaknesses to balance PvP related strengths (Codex Rules, Species Creation Rules, emphasis added). Viewed in that context, this is not a weakness but rather a significant strength. That is, the poison is what gives this submission possible application in PvP, so I'd suggest re-evaluating how you have this section structured.

There are a number of weaknesses embedded in the submission, such as seed activation requiring digestion, vulnerability to flooding, etc. But the poison would not be a weakness in this context.

The oil can be used as an ingredient in food, and without a very detailed analysis of the food, one would never know the oil was added. It can be used as tips of spears to add insult to a stabbing injury and to make sure your enemy is absolutely dead. As per the Codex Rules, Language that could be interpreted to force another player to do something they do not wish for their character is prohibited. This seems a very absolute statement with regard to the poison's outcome and I'd ask that you please tone this down. While the poison could be introduced into a thread as a story element, it should be open to interpretation and response without predetermined outcome.

Those are my thoughts. Please let me know if you have any questions, otherwise please tag me when you have completed your edits.
