I Require, Your Cloak [Trade Conglomerate]

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]

I Require, Your Cloak
Outer Rim Territories;
Carrion Sector, Sojourn system.

Alicia Drey stood on the highest spire of the Fort. The wind assaulted her, causing her to grip onto the edges before she was blown out of the tower and down to several stories to her death. Her blonde hair whipped up around her. The baby bump she carried was large. It wouldn't be long now until she was united with her daughter. Travel to Maramere probably wasn't a good idea, but the completion of the Initium was important. She would require the prototype and soon. Fortunately, she had discovered an ally to help her.

Jaster Awaud had once guarded Sojourn for her; and bound by Mandalorian honor, she was sure that the Admiral would come to her assistance should she ever need it, such as this fateful day. The final component she needed for the Initium was a stygium crystal, then it would be complete.

"Lady Drey, we have received word that your guest has arrived." Turning away from the view of the surrounding valleys to her servant, Alicia nodded her head. "Tell him I am on my way." Stepped away from the edge of the tower, she begun her descent to the bottom to greet Jaster.

Jaster was on his way to the Conglomerate capital of Val'hala, he was requested to do more paperwork as he always was with his new posistion. That was when he recieved a message from an old employer, Miss. Drey. It had been ages since he last worked for her as a security officer in the palace she called a home. Jaster didn't much enjoy the company of Sith Officals, unless they were drunk and required a little scuffle. Say it was the Mandalorian in his blood, but he enjoyed that one too many times, but enjoyed it none the less.

He decided to have the paperwork placed aside for an old reunion with an old friend, well at least he thought so. After all he protected her life for a short time, but he did spend time talking with her.

He arrived to the planet using one of his ancient MC80 Liberty Type Star Cruiser a relic of the past, but it suited Jasters need and he enjoyed the Mon Calamirian Design of the ship. He wished he had an old Trade Federation Ship, but finding one from that era was beyond difficult.

He landed in a dropship to pick up his old friend now ally, as it would seem she had a request for him and the Conglomerate.

Flanked either side by two Sun Guards, Alicia Drey approached the drop ship as it arrived. As it's shuttle bay doors opened and it's landing ramp lowered to reveal the Mandalorian inside, she came to a stop a yard away from the foot of the ramp. Turning her gaze to Commander Damus, she said to him. "I will be okay from here, commander."
"Very well," Damus replied. Nodding to her, the Sun Guard turned with his cohort back towards the Fort.

Alicia averted her gaze away from them back to the drop ship. When she saw Jaster, she gave him her trade mark smile. Hands resting on her bulging stomach, she said. "Hello Jaster. It's been a while."

"How have you been?"

Jaster stepped out of the dropship in his flak vest and Admirals cap and pants. He wasn't an admiral anymore, but it was more comfortable then those stingy cloths he was forced to wear at public events and mass media events. He was still his 6'3" heights and still overbearing with his muscles, he liked to keep his skills sharp in case Force Users were out to kill him again.

When he exited he was blunted with surprise, she was pregnant, when did that happen? Then their were the guards that were escorting her, did she escalate in posistion yet again in the Sith Goverment? So many questions and it would all have to wait.

He approached the women and held out his hand to greet her, "It's great to see you again ma'am, I'm doing good considering all the new climbs in the Conglomerate." Jaster curiosity was eating at him, he had to ask, "What about you, I've been gone so long, and your pregnancy, when did I miss that?"

Her smile faltered for a moment. It passed by quickly. Beaming, she said. "It won't be long now until they join me. It's why I need the stygium crystals, to help protect both of us when they are born. As you know, I've made a lot of enemies over the years."

"Shall we get going then?" Walking up the landing ramp, Alicia entered the dropship and took a seat. As she was taken up to the cruiser, she asked. "How did you get into the Conglomerate then?"

Jaster escorted the Corperate mastermind to her seat within the dropship and then proceeded to nock on the door to the pilots seating. The door opened and the navigator was facing the Viceroy, he saluted and Jaster proceeded with the orders in a whisper, "The Misses is close to her due days of pregnancy, keep it calm and avoid turbulence, also warn the cruisers commanders of the update."

He moved back to a seating next to Miss. Drey, and then answered her question, "Well after my employment with you, I was recruited by the Queen of Naboo to do security for her daughter, a handful of a job, then moved to a command posistion for a refugee camp, climbed the ranks quickly as useral, and found myself in cahoots with the Healer Guild, it didn't last long, Jaster sighed, the Netherworld Crissis hurt the guild a lot, nearly all their leadership was on Corilla when it split in two, or died in the conflicts they tried to stop. "As my honor permitted and the Tehno Union continued to spread to our homeworld I was forced to take as much supplies as I could and flee to Val'hala, where I was given refuge by their government, that's when I started the Conglomerate, myself and some of the smaller companies wished to help those in the Unknown Region, and spread the market and stop the Monopolies, in the process we've made a large market in the civilian sectors of both the Fringe Worlds and some parts of the Unknown Region, but we still have a ways to go."

"It looks promising. I was invited to attend a couple of ceremonies in the Avidon system, where the Avidon Oligarchy would be found. Like the conglomerate, it looked promising. Avidon is an untapped world and I hope to extend my influence there, like I am currently doing on Chandrila. But if the past twenty years are anything to go by, I'll be in my 60s before I ever get there."

"You'll have to introduce me to the conglomerate, Jaster. As you know, I am always looking to create business everywhere I go, and this conglomerate seems to have gathered the right people. The monopolies you speak of are apart of strategy of several governments in the galaxy to corner markets, tying in to their wars. Take the One Sith, for example. They have several corporations under thumb. Although, between you and me, one of them did just abandon the collective to support the Galactic Republic."

"Anyway, where are we heading? Stygium crystals are rare. The monopolies you speak of have, to my awareness, taken over the mining of stygium for themselves. It's surprising that you have access to them, to be honest."

Interesting, as always spies writhing the One Sith were very reliable, but never survived the months within their boarders. Jaster recently was forced to stop sending operatives within the boarders and only rely on the vetern members of his spy ring. The cells were small and most were on Coruscant, that was such a large group of people that hiding was easy, information however was limited. Hearing anything about his soon to be allies was good, but was the information valuable.

Jaster as always was he hidden hand of the Conglomerate, black ops and shadow deals were his specialty. While shaking the hands of a Republic Emissary Jaster handed Driods to the Sith, he was a True Nutral in this conflict, no one had power over the Conglomerate, and everything was a secrete.

He looked to Drey, "The conglomerate is happy to have a represntative as powerful and intelligent as yourself, with you I'm sure the conglomerate will succeed in the future, as for this Oligarchy, I don't think I know it well, but I'm sure I can speak with a representative to help out as much as this organization can, as for our mines, we were very luck I must say, our mine was constructed underwater, in a secluded spot and our cargo haulers use Techno Transmiters, allowing our shipments to continue on, unfortunalty we can't go there, so we must head to Val'hala where we store all of our Crystals, is that alright with you?"

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]

"That sounds acceptable. As for the Avidon Oligarchy, it never took off. The Baroness recently passed away and the individuals she had gathered to form the government were an amalgamation of people from different organizations, all of which already had responsibilities they couldn't devote to the cause. Still, Avidon would a great world to invest in, if the conglomerate ever decides to expand out of wild space and into the core. Of course, there is always Chandrila, if you ever wanted to help me out there."

"I know you like to perform humanitarian aid. After the recent disasters that have crept across the galaxy, I've come to see the bigger picture. My new flagship company, Chandrila Group, focuses on the growth and harvest of crops, to be convert into foodstuffs for supply. I'd be happy to help you out on your next mission."

With the conversation reaching an impasse, days passed by Jaster and Alicia as they made their way from Sojourn to Val'hala. Later, they would reach the Val'hala system, where Alicia would collect her stygium crystals.

Jaster looked from his ship as they orbited the planet, it was amazing what he had build in the short time he was viceroy, the people he brought together and who they brought with them. Of course none of it was possible alone, he was a large gear in an even larger clock that never stopped working.

A shuttle was approaching the Star Cruiser, it was a small shipment shuttle that carried the goods Jaster had promised to Miss. Drey.

He movies to the confronts room that was reformatted from the original design of the ship. This was his current means of tracking the galaxy, though he had plans for a much larger ship to be constructed. In the background of the congruence room, a large space station was under construction and covered a lot of the space that could be seen through the thick window. He had asked Miss. Drey for a meeting to discuss what could be exchanged for the crystals, as they were still only drizzling from the planet under Techno Control. As an old friend and ally, Jaster wouldn't ask much, but to save face when meeting with other representatives he needed to ask for something, but what?

She had mentioned she owned a food cooperation some days back when he first picked her up, maybe their was something she could do for him. "Well, it's been a fun trip and I hope your new accommodations helped settle you in and make this trip as comfortable as possible, as for our Negosiations, can you tell me what your knew Agriculture Yeild will be this next quarter?"

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]

[OOC: Sorry for the two day late reply.]

"Harvesting won't begin until the quarter after the next. I have only recently brought out the land and founded Chandrila Group. Like all worlds, the recent disaster has affected Chandrila severely. I still have a lot of work to do in setting up the foundations, but I expect that I could gather enough supplies to fill two bulk cruisers, for the moment."

"But say, within a year, I project that I will have our yields back up to 20% of Chandrila's normal expected out put. Enough to begin monthly supplies, wherever they are needed. In the next three years, I expect yields to rise back up to 50%. It will be sometime, which I estimate to be until Chandrila Group is graded as a tier 5 corporation, for Chandrila to begin pumping out the grain it was creating towards the end of the darkness that plagued us all for so many years. By then, Chandrila Group will be supplying to all worlds in the Core and beyond, as it was before."

"As a trade partner of the Conglomerate, you will have first access to our yields and later down the line, you will be first in line for our offers and deals, for your help, support and assistance during our earlier days. Water, grain, wheat and foodstuffs will be yours, for the right price of course."

"And obviously, with my shareholdings in other corporations, I can supply contacts or products, should you require them. For example, I am set to takeover Emeritus Industries, a manufacture of ships, vehicles and other tech in the Outer Rim Territories. The stygium crystals I am here for are actually for our series of Annihilator class boarding shuttles."

That last part was a lie, but it would check out. Alicia had designed the Annihilator-class boarding shuttles, and they did require stygium crystals for cloaking, so it made sense. In reality, it was for the modified Star Courier she was hiding on Sojourn.

Jaster looked at the women, she was a skilled business women and Jaster learned nearly all his tricks from studding people like her. Yet he couldn't smell a lie, but he knew something was up, she wouldn't give such detail over because they were old employers. He didn't care though, he sold Crytals to pirates if they had the right trade. Jaster was one of those people who enjoyed the payment of tradable a then credits, helped make value where he could. The conglomerate was already swimming in more money then it could handle, since the Neatherworld Crisis Jaster Medical buisness made trillions in the civilian level neutral market. The governments fell and Jaster reaped the benefits and others suffering.

"Don't you worry, these crystals are 100% pure, though transport of such rare items out of such a restricted and patrolled nation is quite difficult," Jaster tapped his fingures on the rough hard metalic table, and placed his hands under his chin, "How about this, I have refugees fleeing from a warlord in the Fringe Worlds, they wish to construct a colony in the Unknown Region, only problem is they don't have anything to sustain themselves, so here's the deal, as assistance to these refugees, we will purchase their food from you, but we would like a 23% discount for the first year, then after, reduced by 3% per year, sound like a deal?"

This of course was a little lie, but how was a Trade Station in the Unknown Suppose to revive its rations if he didn't have the supplies to spare. This was more of a need, but he did his best not to show that to the veteran negotiator.

Alicia frowned at the offer. 23%? That wouldn't even put her in profit, with the projected yield she would have once the crops were planted and harvesting had begun. She wouldn't even profiting until the third year, due to her investment in the Acavus technology Emeritus Industries and Imperial Arms Incorporated for their development and manufacture.

As it stood, she wasn't set to make back the thirty million or so she had put into Chandrila Group back until the fifth year. To be frank, Jaster's offer was unacceptable.

"I'm afraid I can't do twenty three percent discount on any foodstuffs I supply to the Conglomerate. To be frank, I couldn't even do a tiny discount, let alone nearly a quarter. Whilst I understand that it must be tight financially, I can't do freebies until my corporation begins profiting."

"I can only offer my services and my information to the Conglomerate, as well as my credits. That's all."

[member="Alicia Drey"]

Jaster tried his best to not show his discontent, not a single percentage discount, he would be selling the crystals for free. The Merchant Board would have him impeached and force the title from him, something he couldn't let happen. Thinking on his feet, he thought, he needed something to show the Board that the crystals were being sold, not given. That's when it came to him, an investment would keep those desk riders at bay, an exchange of some sort.

Jaster reached a decision, "Well if that can't happen, then purchase of the crops will be within your price range, but unfortunalty I must show some sign of transaction, and credits are just too much to ask for, so I'll have to request access to your new line of Annihilator-class Shuttles, we are in need of such crafts, all I ask is that the Conglomerate gets first purchase of your class shuttles, well excluding any Goverment you have made agreements with of course."

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]

"Of course. It appears you have access to stygium, so it is easy for you to install the crystals into the board shuttle's cloaking generators, allowing you to use it to their full potential. It was designed for clandestine boarding procedures, where the target in question isn't aware they are being boarded until it is too late. I can give you the Katarn Maneuver- the tactic devised to go alongside the Annihilator's- for free."

"So, do we have a deal?"

[member="Alicia Drey"]

Jaster nodded, "Well I think we have, it have been a pleasure to find some compromise for both our organizations to work together." Jaster turned to his computer to write out a contract to complete their dealings. As regular Negosiation like this were often, the Conglomerate had a fast ready to go templet for small contracts such as this. Jaster finished within minutes and downloaded it to a datapad. He then moved it to Miss Drey where she could sign it and they would proceed.

"Once you sign this, I will escort you to our hanger bay were you will receive the pick of our latest mined crystals, as well as a gift for your first Negosiation with the Conglomerate."

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]

"Aw, thank you very much Jaster! I always do enjoy a present." Leaning forwards, Alicia signed the contract Jaster had drawn up. In return for access to Emeritus Industries Annihilator-class boarding shuttles, she would receive stygium crystals, which would be used for her prototype Star Courier she was hiding on Sojourn. The shuttles would be sold for their normal price, where the Conglomerate would install their stygium crystals into their cloaking generators.

When the contract was signed, Alicia stood back up. "Thank you again. Where are we heading now?"

[member="Alicia Drey"]

Jaster looked through the contract before signing himself, though it was just out of habit now, he did write the thing. He made a copy and gave the Datapad back to Alicia and then downloaded it to his system where it would be relayed to the Trade Conglomerate Plaza. More red tape then he liked, but it was a sizable organization now, and he would gather what resources he could.

He stood and gestured politly to the door, "Well first I shall escort you to the Hangerbay, there we will show you the product and possibly meet your requirements, after that you will be flow to the planet and enjoy what we can offer, while I check progress on our orbital station, once finished, we will bring you back home, will that meet your satisfaction?" Jaster was being polite as possible, not only was this women as powerful as any Techno Buisness owner, but she was very well connected as well, and knew almost all the right people, weather good or bad.

[member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"]

"Of course. After you." Alicia followed Jaster to the hangar bay, eyes searching the station as she was escorted to her stygium crystals. "This Trade Conglomerate is powerful and well organized," she thought to herself. "I believe it would be worth while to join the operation on a full time basis. This was precisely what I needed to continue the Grand Plan."

[member="Alicia Drey"]

Jaster continued down the corridors that lead to the hanger bay, when Miss Drey had mentioned she was interested in his organization, Jaster was thrilled, almost to the point he nearly showed it. He turned his head and spoke, "Well then I shall share what progress we have made and some of our plans for the future, as you had seen on Sullist, my Executive Chairwomen is a very intrical part of the Conglomerate, without her, we would probably still be scavenging through the old Fringe Territories for ships and parts, now we have fleets and ground forces to spare." Jaster looked around as talking and leading were somewhat difficult on such a large ship, he got his barring and continued.

"With her help we have secured the Sancturary Pipeline along with many of the smaller trade routes in the South Fringe Region, as she deals with the governments and politics of the inner systems, I use much of our resources to colonize and explore the Unknown Region, and have become a large supplier of Unknown Region Tech, though Fringe Warlords and Pirates are still a problem, we deal with as much as we can, but are starting to outsource our work to Mercs and Criminals, exspencive, but we gain nearly all the future profits of the planet.
