I Don't Think So... (Solan Charr)

Lexa smirked. "Go ahead. Touch it." She said, holding her hand out closer to him. "If this were a trap, you'd already be dead. If you can't trust me, at least trust in the fact that my words are true."

"Ya, not that stupid." He reach down and tore his cloak before pulling off a strip. Then carefully he walked within arm's reach and held out the strip over her hand, seeing whether the flames were real or if they were simply an illusion conjured up by the woman to taunt him, and the moment before he let it touch the flames he stopped. "Whats your full name?"

Solan watched it and waited till the fire came just into reach of his hand, then let go once the pain had touched him. But not from the pain, no he let go because she had proven her words and because he now had her name. Even if she meant to try and kill him, he was certain he could get away and would just come after her instead. "Well then miss, i would be happy to learn from someone as vibrant as you." He smiled and bowed to her, a thing he did to everyone, whether she took it as a sign of respect like he meant it to be, or as a compliment like his words had been, he cared not.

She bowed back. "It is a pleasure to teach you, Solan." Lexa genuinely smiled back at him. She extinguished her hand and looked him over for a moment. "So, what do you wish to learn? Is fire your only interest?" She asked.

"Fire is not my only interest but it is a wonderful start, im not really considered much anyways so its a little hard to honestly judge my being a adept at anything in particular. My best attribute though is simply finding my way out of situations... actually there is something. Have you ever had any experiences with visions?"

[member="Lexa Imura"]

"Trouble would be an understatement, i barely sleep because all i see at night most of the time are nightmares and visions that i cant control and they happen so often i feel like its going to drive me crazy... sorry, its just... constant." He had clenched his hands and his aura had shot out, dark and twisted, filled with confusion and other things that couldn't be untangled, a literal moshpit of emotions that could not be deciphered.

"Just... my death... and the death of others, some i know, some i don't.... its just... i cant separate the visions from memories and they torment me at night. I have barely slept in months, and that makes it worse because im forced to sleep or suffer delusions, things that are nearly just as bad as feeling and seeing your own death..."

Lexa nodded slowly, taking in what he was saying. "I see. From what I can tell, you haven't been able to sleep because you aren't able to accept the death that awaits you," She said simply. "The Force is constantly moving. Changing with the seasons and the people. This also includes the future. Your death is not set in stone, Solan. There is time to change your fate. But in order to do so, you must watch the entire vision unfold no matter how painful it becomes. Only then will you be able to figure out how to prevent it. It's the only way."

"Not yet... im sorry but im not strong enough to deal with what i see and i feel... its like i can feel everything and see it all, but like i said not only my death but the death of others... like dying dozens of times over..." He closed his eyes and breathed in, a few moments later a smile returned and hsi joyful expression was present. "So you mentioned this fire mastery, lets do that instead of talking about something boring like dreams."

Lexa nodded in understanding. She, too, had horrible nightmares. They were not of her dying, however. They were of her husband, dying a thousand deaths before her very eyes. "Very well. We can talk about it later." She removed her cape to reveal her casual black tank top, black jeans, and combat boots. "The first thing we need to do is to unlock your inner fire. Each of us has one, but only some of us have had it since birth. I am one such person, as was my husband. For me, my fire comes easily. For you, however, it might prove a bit more difficult."

"Right uh... how do you know if you can do it easily or not... i mean i never tried so i don't quite truly know if im good at it or not... Anyways, what is it you need for me to do... also should we head for somewhere that isnt a dark alley, not that it isn't the wrong place to train, its just that its a weird place and i dont think planet official would like seeing a random fire in the streets of the city..."

Lexa laughed. "You're a bit nervous, aren't you?" She said. "I know that weilding it is simple for me, because it feels as natural as flexing a muscle. Why? Because I've been doing so my entire life. It won't be that easy for someone as mature as you learning it just now because you simply have never done so before. It's entirely new to you. At this moment, you merely need to stay calm and clear your mind. Almost like you're meditating. I will kindle your fire so you can begin to use it. I'll warn you, though, it's going to burn. As for where we are, I think we'll be fine. We'll be covering the basics right now. Nothing we'll do should cause any kind of concern."

"I am no weakling, let us do what we need to to show me if i can wield such a thing or not." He forced out the words, her having caught onto his nervousness. Sure he was nervous but he was utterly and completely confident in the abilities he had, ready to show the long hours he spent in perfecting them as he relax in his stance and smiled wide. Confident and laid back in his abilities, just how he liked things.

Lexa smirked, and nodded. She closed the gap between them, taking both of his hands in hers. "Alright. Close your eyes, and clear every thought from your mind." As she said this, she did the same.

He simply nodded and let every emotion slip from him slowly, first his hate, then his fear. Next came his joy and sadness, then his compassion, love, and so on. Next his very thoughts were pushed from his mind as the void slowly grew and nothing remained in the window, the mirrior, that he had taken form in his mind.

Lexa felt his thoughts and emotions melt away. She then reached out with her own energy, pinpointing the core of Solan's energy. When she found it, she sent some of her inner fire into him. Her arms would become warmer, and then her hands, as she passed it into him. She sent it dstraight to his core. Once there, she used it to free and kindle Solan's inner fire. The sensation would ripple outward across his body, burning profusly under his skin.

Solan winced, not expecting the feeling though he remained as still as possible in the moment after, his eyes studying the back of his eye lids as he felt the sensation fill him and he let out a breath. His mind now focused on the inner flame she kindled, inspecting it as he reached inwardly and watched it grow and even out due to her, curious about it. It still hurt though, but he once more diverted the pain out of him, thinking on the flame alone.
