I Don't Think So... (Solan Charr)

Nar Shadaa's nightlife boomed through the Red Sector. The biggest club around was teeming with all walks of scum, and Lexa was right in the middle of everything. Luckily for her, no one was interested in bothering her thanks to the dark cloak that hid her features. She sat in a booth by herself with a simple mug of ale amidst the raucous noise of dancing fools and talkative drunkards. Thank God she'd already finished her job. Tonight would be her last night on this little slice of Hell for a while.

"Its a small world after all..." He hummed to himself as he looked at the drunkards around him, all easy targets as he used his abilities in the force to snatch up their credit pouches without so much as a hint of tampering to their person. How stupid they all were, thinking that they could stop someone who had been stealing from people all his life... ok well most of it, steal to survive is what it came down to now for him, and he constantly needed funds for his ventures into sith space to kill more and more troopers.

Lexa's gaze landed on a man making his way almost cockily through the crowd. She could feel the Force within him, and was the only one who noticed his little pickpocket routine. Well, might as well set one thing straight before she left. As the man continued on, she got up from her seat and began following him, making her Force signature so he couldn't sense her.

Solan made his way out of the cantina with his prize and smiled as he made for the alley, he needed a silent place to count what he got and that was a better place than none. With a sift whistle he began walking and turned the corner, spinning the pouch he kept the catch in, its arc being spun infront of him so he had eyes on it at all times.

As the man spun the pouch of stolen credits, Lexa held out her hand palm forward. The pouch slipped from his fingers and hit her palm with a slight jingle. "Quite chipper for a man who was caught with stolen property, wouldn't you say?" She said, her voice flat and emotionless.

He sighed as he saw the pouch fly out of his hand and turned. "A Sun, Sith, or Other?" His hand would already be on the saberstaff at his side and his hollow features now ever more clear as the dark ringed eyes and the hollow cheeks stared at her. As always though his smile and eyes were kind and soft, watching the woman before him.

Lexa said nothing. She lowered her hand back into her cloak, securing the pouch to her belt. She placed her hands on her lightsaber on on Morna's, ready to use them if necessary. Studying his face from the cover of her hood, she finally spoke."You seem to be financially sound from what I can tell. With that being said, what was your reason for lightening the pockets of others?"

"Criminals and scum don't need the blood money, i do though to continue my fight against the enemies of life itself. The Sith deserve death for their crimes and those Generous donations will help in doing so... you didn't answer my question. Sun, Sith, or Other."

Lexa smirked a bit underneath her hood. "So, you think that going after the Sith justifies your need the theive? If that's the logic you cling to, then you're no better than the scum you take from." She said. "Other."

Solan's hand instantly left his saber as he sighed and leaned against a crate as he shrugged off the words. "So you question my methods but the end result is the same, the removal of the Sith Empire from the planets they hold under their boot. There is only one end to this, and it is the return of peace to the galaxy."

Lexa let out a single, rough chuckle. "And you truly think that removing the Sith will solve all the Galaxy's problems?" She asked cooly. "Even if they were eradicated, the peace would not last. In the end, a new menace will rise to power, and the war will start over again as it always has. There is no peace without war. There is no light without darkness. So it shall remain."

"Hmm... curious thoughts, sorry if i dont quite share such strong feelings. They are not something that i hold a same view on... who are you anyways that you come to speak to me? I dont mean disrespect but i dont understand why you chose me now to come after, am i just unlucky?"

Lexa lowered her hood, revealing her face to him. "Unlucky? I'd say quite the opposite. I'm not here to fight you, or even turn you in. I'm only here to help you." She took a step closer to him. "My name is Lexa."

For a few moments Solan said nothing until he just laughed, a kind hearted and full laugh as she said her words and one that was not mocking her. He was finding a joy that he had not had for months in the words and he smiled at her in such a fashion it almost erased the dark rings and hollow features. "Help me, well i must say you have an interesting way of showing that miss Lexa. Solan Charr at your service, professional trickster, ambusher, and all around boring guy."

"So, you mentioned helping me? Which means you are not a Sith or Jedi in truth, but your not turning me in means you aren't exactly on a moral high ground yourself. Considering you are a force user that leaves out the chance of you being a mercenary of the normal kind.... you are either a bounty hunter with the force, or a Dark Jedi, the reason i say such is i can also tell by your Aura you aren't all that... jedi like ill put it."

"Very sharp perceptions indeed. And a good guess, too," Lexa said in a kind of congrajulatory tone. "I don't really consider myself to be anything at all. You can call me a 'Dark Jedi' if titles help you trust people, I guess." She walked in a slow circle around him. "When I say help you, I'm not referring to 'redemption' or anything like that. You are strong in the Force. I'd guess you've had some training by what I saw back in the club. All I want to do is nurture your talent. That way, you can have better things to do than to pose as a common street theif." She stopped back in front of him. "That is, if you're interested."

"Hmm, learn more about the force, or go back to robbing drunkards. A -VERY- hard choice you have given me miss Lexa, i must say you are certainly a hard person to take up a deal with." Solan smiled, and even as he said the words, his answer was more than clear. The choice of response is just him being him, for lack of a better word, an ass at times. None the less he accepted and his smile had never left him, soft pale blue eyes focusing on the woman. "So, what did you have in mind?"

Lexa returned his smile. "Well, Mr. Solan, you're obviously a man who only does things if they benefit you in some way." She lifted on of her hands. "So tell me. Would this be of any use to you?" As she said this, her hand became wreathed in bright yellow flames, her eyes glowing the same color.

Solan blinked and straightened up as he saw that, he kept the bit about him only doing things if it benefited him to himself. 'No, i do what is right, but there is no need to say such if she is so inclined to believe myself selfish.' He walked forward and inspected the flames more closely. "Are they real, or an illusion created by the force. If real then yes, this would be very useful but why are you going to offer me knowledge like this. I mean, i barely know you and all i know is that this is a trap, sorry but im not exactly the most trusting of people."
