I Choose You - Kana!

Before the Netherworld Event -

Aaralyn had taken her time to come to this decision - many hours of meditation had brought her to the same conclusion and thought, she needed to move on from the Jedi Council. It wasn't something she was ready for, nor truly desired. She was not at that stage within her life where she was to lead the Jedi Order in that direction, regardless of her experience - maybe one day she'd be appointed again, but now she didn't feel it was right. She had discussed the decision over with no one, keeping it close to her chest. She felt it was her right and her decision to appoint her successor given the Council had failed to establish rules of appointment.

She knew [member="Corvus Raaf"] and [member="Kian Karr"] would respect her decision - perhaps even [member="Ryan Korr"] would. [member="Phylis Alince"] was indifferent at times and too focused on her Archives to care about movements unless it was drastic - but this was something she felt needed to be done.

She had summoned [member="Kana Truden"] to her, in the Jedi Council chambers. Hopefully, the Jedi Master would show soon - as Aaralyn was beginning to crave some fruit for some reason.

The Jedi Council chambers. Kana had never been here, she had passed the grand gates to it many times but never actually been inside of it herself. [member="Aaralyn Gyndar"] had summoned her, but to what end was beyond Kana.

Knighthood demotion, perhaps?

Padawan management scolding?

Who knew, but when a councilor asks of you to be present there is little you can do but comply. Interaction with this one in particular was limited. They had met on Manaan and then from there occasionally met around the courtyards and such, at least the few times that Aaralyn had actually been present on Ossus.

The doors slowly opened and in front of her stood her hostess. Aaralyn. Kana’s footsteps echoed throughout the chamber. At least it felt like it. Nerves were tangling up. This wasn’t how Kana usually acted, but authority had to be respected, didn’t it?

“You called for me Master Rekali?” Kana bowed. “Is something wrong?”

Aaralyn smiled brightly as [member="Kana Truden"] entered the Council chambers - she nodded eagerly and motioned with her hands behind the other Jedi Master. The doors would close slowly as she gestured to a seat at the Council table. "Please, Master Truden - have a seat." Aaralyn would take her own seat and pull up a datapad, adjusting herself accordingly as she shook her head. "No, nothing is wrong. I just want to talk to you about something is all - something important."
