Before the Netherworld Event -
Aaralyn had taken her time to come to this decision - many hours of meditation had brought her to the same conclusion and thought, she needed to move on from the Jedi Council. It wasn't something she was ready for, nor truly desired. She was not at that stage within her life where she was to lead the Jedi Order in that direction, regardless of her experience - maybe one day she'd be appointed again, but now she didn't feel it was right. She had discussed the decision over with no one, keeping it close to her chest. She felt it was her right and her decision to appoint her successor given the Council had failed to establish rules of appointment.
She knew [member="Corvus Raaf"] and [member="Kian Karr"] would respect her decision - perhaps even [member="Ryan Korr"] would. [member="Phylis Alince"] was indifferent at times and too focused on her Archives to care about movements unless it was drastic - but this was something she felt needed to be done.
She had summoned [member="Kana Truden"] to her, in the Jedi Council chambers. Hopefully, the Jedi Master would show soon - as Aaralyn was beginning to crave some fruit for some reason.
