She likes to wear her dark hair in a short bob, and dresses in dark colors. Her cold and cruel nature is masked by a soft spoken front. Hyori is not the type of person that looks to the future with aspirations, but keeps herself grounded in the present, and treads through lightly through life... one mission at a time.

BIOGRAPHY:

The Tal family is a well-known military family on Atrisia.

Father: Shin Tal
Mother: Haneul Tal
Brothers: Jin Tal (34), Il Shik Tal (31), Nam Tal (28)

Hyori existed in stark contrast to her three older brothers; quiet, contemplative, calculating, and a bit mysterious. The Tal boys were boisterous and brash; if you ever crossed them you were met with an immediate beat down. Hyori had always felt that they were too reckless. Charging forth into a fight was fine for some, but she recognized that there was value in being subtle. When wronged by one of her brothers, her retaliations were swift, silent and unexpected. Growing up as the youngest child ensured that she developed a thick skin, and a penchant for taking care of herself.

The Tal children were no strangers to the rigors of a very strict and unrelenting daily routine. It was expected that each of Hyori’s brothers would join the military when they were of age, just as their father had done. Hyori’s father had long decided that she would become something demure and more suited to a young woman, such as a seamstress or better yet... a wife and mother. However, Hyori wasn’t satisfied with such life choices, especially as she watched her brothers sparring out in their courtyard. Their father spent their evenings instructing the Tal boys in the ways of sword fighting when they became teenagers; he taught them of respect and duty. Hyori had been forbidden to participate, as fighting was not suited to the gentle nature of a lady.

When her father and brothers were away, Hyori would draw a wooden practice sword and mimic the movements she’d observed so many times. One afternoon, her brothers happened to catch her practicing, and at first they chided and laughed... until she came after them. The three stood in stunned silence as their younger sister’s form, footwork, and striking patterns rivaled their own. From that day on, they let her train with them... just as long as their father was not present.

As a general in the Atrisian Military, Shin Tal struck fear into the hearts of his men and while he was at home, struck fear into the hearts of his children. The General held a strong belief that young ones should be punished severely to mitigate unwanted behavior. Any foot placed out of line was met with swift punishment, usually in the form of a bamboo switch.

Hyori’s diligent studies brought her to the best University on Artrisia, and upon graduation she went on to pursue a career in Law Enforcement. Shin Tal was disappointed in his daughter’s career aspirations, but as she had moved away from home, he no longer held that authority over her. Hyori joined the ranks of officers, and quickly found herself moving up the chain of command. Her attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and quick wits ensured that she excelled at her job.

During her time patrolling, she discovered a rather disturbing fact about herself... she didn’t mind killing. She watched as other officers struggled to come to grips with taking their first life, but Hyori hadn’t even given it another thought. There was even a small part of her that liked it... but she did not utter this to another soul. Her duties bound her tightly, and she would not kill for the fun of it... but if she needed to take a life during the course of her career, she decided that she would allow herself to secretly take pleasure in the task.

It became her new aspiration to work undercover; moving in the darkness, exposing corruption and ill deeds was highly appealing to her. After receiving advanced training in the arts of stealth, survival and weaponry, she moved on to work for as an undercover officer for several years.

Her work in law enforcement eventually caught the eye of Atrisian Intelligence, and she became an agent, working domestic affairs for the Commonwealth. Hyori recently left Atrisia for an opportunity to complete agent work on a broader scale, effect change, and complete missions with higher risk.

Hyori is now an agent for the First Order, where she continues to work in the shadows for the benefit of the Supreme Leader and his domain.
