Intent: To provide a body for Husk [NPC]
Development Thread: If Necessary
Manufacturer: Husk/Shady Backalley Cyberdoctors
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Husk
Modularity: No.
Production: Unique
Material: Electronics, hydraulics, titanium alloy skeleton, Duralium-Lanthanide alloy plates,
Classification: Body
Height:2.13 meters
Weight: 317.515 Kg
Quality: 8
  • Anti Ballistic-8
  • Anti-Lightsaber-3-Due to mass
  • Anti-Melee Weaponry-8
Special Features:
  • Contains brain of Husk.
  • Cybernetic eyes containing: Night vision, Anti-flash technology.
  • Artificial Organs.
Description: The body of Husk is one created by a band of illegal cyberdoctors attempting to create a sort of soldier with all of their flesh replaced except for the brain: neccesary for rational thought.

All of the bodily functions have been replaced with basic artificial organs inside of the body. The inner skeleton is composed of a titanium alloy which allows for excellent structural performance. Hydraulics are set into the limbs to allow for movement of the extremely heavy suit. Meanwhile, the exterior plates are composed of a Duralium-Lanthanide alloy to provide for excellent armor composition. There are four layers of these plates over the body which accounts for it's extreme weight.

Strengths:
Heavily Armored- The body is very heavily armored, allowing it to take a very heavy beating.
Strong- The hydraulics in the body allow it to lift objects up to 226 Kg.

Weaknesses:
Slow: The body is extremely heavy due to it's armoring, meaning that it can only ever move at a walking pace.
Brain: The body does hold a weak point in that it is operated by a living organ, if the brain is eliminated, the rest of the armoring is obsolete.
Falling: If the body were to fall, it would take a very long time for it to stand once more.
Ion Weaponry: While one or two blasts from these would simply disperse over the plates, more than that will begin to fry systems and gradually will disable the body parts they hit.

Please change the dark blue color to something lighter, as it makes the submission very hard to read against the gray background. :)

Anti-Melee Weaponry-10
  • A quality grade of 10 is only used for technology crafted out of extremely durable material.
If a melee weapon made from, say, beskar, were to hit the armor/body with sufficient force, it would certainly deal damage to it.
  • Given the materials used for this submission, you'll have to bump that down to 8.

Anti-Lightsaber-6
  • What gives the armor/body such a high resistance to lightsabers?

Given that it's cybernetics, how would this fare against ion/EMP attacks and the such?

Tag me with questions/edits.

Sorry about the color, changed it down a grade.
Also, oversight of mine on the melee weapons, gladly changed it.

Also an oversight on the EMP stuff, I added an additional weakness.
As per the anti-lightsaber stuff, that's more due to just how much mass there is to it than what it's actually made of.
Even for lightsabers, it's cutting through several hundred pounds of material.

Still shows up as dark blue for me, unfortunately. You could always try removing the color altogether?

  • The only time a material poses an issue to lightsabers (provided that isn't fully or partially lightsaber resistant) is when it's extremely thick.
Now, granted, this armor has unusually thick plating with three layers of durasteel, but that wouldn't be enough to slow a lightsaber down by a relevant margin. Even blast doors, which are circa half a meter thick, weren't any real obstacle for lightsabers to cut through.
  • That being said, a glancing blow likely wouldn't cut through all the layers simply due to thickness. Bump it down to a 3 with these stipulations, and we're golden.
(e.g., a direct thrust or slash from a lightsaber will still cut through the armor with ease)

Otherwise the suit is very well-balanced, with plenty of weaknesses to offset the strengths. :)

Apologies, my mistake; what I get for judging at 3 AM.
Just keep in mind that a direct him from a lightsaber will still cut right through this.

Approved pending secondary.
