The Hunter-class superiority fighter is designed to be the mainstay of an attack wing. Designed to counter snub fighters in combat the Hunter-clas utilizes S-foils to switch between attack mode and flight mode. IN flight mode the S-foils close giving the craft a boost of speed by diverting power from the weapon systems to the engines. When opened the engines revert to normal operation and the weapons once again can be used.
The Hunter-class is built to all the current standards when it comes to attack craft construction and design. Quadranium hull plating protects the pilot and the more important parts of the craft from damage while the installed shield projector protects the craft from energy and kinetic damage.
Two laser cannons are fixed to the outer wing sections between the two S-foils. Two light ion cannons are located just below the cockpit on the lower section of the central body.
