Humanitarian Aid Whether You Like It Or Not [Sith Empire Dominion of Togoria]

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
With a soft smile, Bosch watched and monitored from his secured datapad the return of dropships, gunships, and walker barges to the Ranators. As the last vessels were working on being loaded up, the Grand Admiral smiled, a rather attractive female human giving him a metal teapot. Pouring himself his own glass of warm tea, he once again sat back.

Unaware that his crew had just put him on Galactic eMatch.com.

Dear God.

Kaine was actually strolling along the streets of the capital, surrounded by a circle of his legate guardians who watched for any potential threats. However; when they detected Pandeima arriving they instantly informed Kaine of the approaching intruder, but Kaine allowed them to let Pandeima pass so Kaine could see her. As she approached he smiled slyly and eyed her up and down, "Well, well, well. Long time so see, Pandeima. You look good." His grin only grew hungrier.

Jonas had made it a kilometer away from his former position and the relief camp. The jungles were thick and filled with the various inhabitant's sounds echoing through the foliage. "You'd expect to see a large beast every inch of this planet but yet not--" Jonas was interrupted by a large crunching sound to the west of his position. The apprentice jumped from the speeder bike and began silently moving through various vines, branches, and bushes to discover the source of the sound. It was a giant, bronze liphon. The beast had to have a wingspan of at least 25 meters. Jonas did his best to keep quiet until the beast was distracted enough for him to make his move. Luckily, the flying lizard was feasting on some fresh kill.

"That's right you bastard. Eat up. It'll be your last meal." Jonas said in his head as he sneaked closer to the beast. Once wrong step, and the creature would surely rip Jonas to shreds. Jonas was only a meter away when he prepared himself to leap on the beast when it suddenly spread it wings in preparation to fly. Jonas thought quickly and jumped onto the back of the beast as it took off. Jonas was quickly noticed by the liphon once he jumped on and it took flight. Nearly a kilometer in the air, the two fought each other for dominance of the other. The extreme flight speed of the liphon was almost too much for Jonas. At least until he was able to grab his lightsaber. It activate in a glow of amethyst and Jonas used it to remove a wing from the beast, sending it spiraling down to the landing zone of the Imperial dropships. "This is gonna hurt..." Jonas said as he braced himself for impact. In a cloud of dirt and dust, the beast crashed into the LZ, killing it instantly. Jonas was lucky enough to survive with only a dislocated shoulder. "Whoo! That was fun. You guys should try it. Damn. What a rush." Jonas cheered as he got up from the back of the beast. If Jonas was gonna be trapped there for sometime, he surely was gonna have fun.

"I'll bet I look good, tiger... So listen, I was thinking. Could you let me in more on your plans for our lovely Epicanthix guest? The one who prefers the liberty of nudity to the constriction of armor? She's absolutely wonderful, and I'd like to know when you're done with her so she may serve my... delightfully sensual purposes."

She smiled, licking her lips and running a finger over them. "After all, I'm eager to see what she can do."

Kaine chuckled, "Maybe, maybe not. I'm not the easiest to be swayed on letting my apprentices get into some fethed up kark without my best interest at heart, so with that said." He beckoned her forth into the circle of his Legates. "What do you have in mind, and how can you work to convince me?" He smiled a toothy grin, the mutilated right side of his face distorting with the movement.

Olom stood up slowly on top of the area, looking about. He smirked. He was looking for something important. He had heard rumors of it. Intense rumors. Still, there was a chance that the old rumors were true. He grinned. Yes, yes....he could feel it. A force Loci! Not a huge one, but definitely enough to matter...He grinned as he saw a few relics, standing at the location. He smiled wickedly, sitting before the shrine. He meditated, focusing his own thought on it. He couldn't corrupt the shrine of his own will--he lacked that much power in the force. Still, this shrine could be drifted slightly, with the right ritual. He calmly glare, tryign to find the force-energy that had been bound to this shrine. It was old, and weak. Not much more powerful than a lightsaber, or some other toy.

He focused calmly, chanting the Sith code, meditating.....

Through the Force My Chains are broken. How true, he thought callously. It has been too long since I have remember the chains. I have been viewed by my own brethren as a defect. I have been viewed by own species as a heretic. But soon, they will know my enlightenment. All of them! And when it has begun, my power...the true power of a Sith...shall be made manifest in its highest form.

He grinned. He cackled, embracing the energy of the dark side, his thirst for vengeance and brief passion mounting into a cackle echoing through the force, if briefly. Whatever ritual had altered the force so violently on this planet, it had twisted this shrine, and he had found the thing aura of darkness, greedily dancing with it, adding his own madness to it's taint. He grinned. What he had left on this planet would last a while, he hoped.

"Our mission is to bring humanitarian aid to this world and throw some papers out of my hanger so far as I've been told. The rest is to eliminate any hostile; and bring this rock into the fold". Hawke halted in front of the lift and hit the button. "Having this planet puts our boarders right next to the Republic and cuts the Mandalorian's off from the south". The lift arrived and the two boarded for elevation to the bridge deck. "And that leaves the respective sectors of Kessel and Kastolar ours to take if the Emperor wills it". The lift flew upwards with great speed, a small light on the control circuit flashed on the floors respective button. "Now though the theories come into play. And why we brought such a grand force to a world with no military capability I can't quite place. And lastly back to us, the reason for you being aboard. Is my mission to be altered in someway perhaps"? The lift slowed down and came to a halt as the doors slid open.

SEVERAL MONTHS LATER

TOGORIA, CAROSS CITY
CITY CENTER

"Easy does it... Easy does it... I SAID EASY DOES IT, WORM."

Several months after the fact, the city of Caross was looking to be in slightly better condition than what it had been found in. The sound of construction droids and equipment filled the city as the forces of the Empire labored tirelessly to restore Caross to working order. Electricity and running water had already been restored to most of the city, but in terms of bringing the city back to full operating capacity, there was still a long way to go. The aid centers remained up throughout most of the city. Although an aura of distrust still permeated everything, it was gradually dying down. Before long, the Togorians would be comfortable with their new Imperial overlords. Or, you know, they would probably be killed. A helpful Sith Empire was still an Empire of Sith. Twenty years from now, when a new generation of Togorians reached maturity, they would only know life under the Empire and be subject to wonderfully illustrated Imperial propaganda. Another completely pacified Imperial world.

The veiled statue was hefted up onto its base at the continually urging of TB-19, who enforced only the utmost care and precision in placing the statue. In truth, the humanitarian dominion of Togoria had another benefactor besides the Empire. A benefactor who genuinely cared and had taken time and money out of his life to restore the Togorians to their former glory. Emperor Ardik was in the habit of rewarding those who did good work with good fortune, and so he commissioned a statue of the benefactor.

The cloak fell off the cut marble effigy, revealing a rather stern looking @[member="Kaine Zambrano"] , one arm outstretched as he surveyed all that came and left the city center. On the base of the statue were two lines of text. They both said the same thing, but one was in Togorian and the other in basic.

"KAINE ZAMBRANO: THE BENEFACTOR OF TOGORIA"

Gregor shook his head before responding, "Theory and rumor have no place in the chain of command, Captain. You would be wise to remember this."

As the doors to the turbolift flashed open, the Sith Knight strode out, continuing, "Our mission remains the same. The papers are leaflets which will be dispersed throughout various settlements. The leaflets instruct the natives on how to seek assistance properly, should they submit to loyal Imperial service."

"Of course sir. It is not my place to wonder is it". Hawke exited the lift behind Gideon. The bridge was but a short walk ahead. She lead them on inside. Her bridge crew were on a regular routine while she was away. Mr Freedolf; her first mate holding the fort down saluted her and Gregor as they entered. "They're desperate. I'm sure most will sir. Mr. Freedolf, take us to the drop location and inform the crew we're doing a lightning drop". Hawke departed from the Sith's side for her command chair. The Captain took her seat and activated the comms once again. "@[member="TB-18"]. This is The Paladin. We have our passenger and are beginning operations. Over and out". The Paladin's engines kicked into gear and hurtled the craft closer to the planet. They were going for what she referred to as a lightning drop. A drop right into the atmosphere. With the deflector shields up it would be no issue.

Darth Vazela had seen enough. He had evaluated the strength and power of the Empire and the individuals that served it, gathered his update report from Circe Savan in regards to the technology she was developing for him and Togoria was now theirs.

With nothing more to do, the Sith Lord returned to his Sith Infiltrator and flew the shuttle back to the Obscurity, rendezvousing with Malus Bligh. Together once more, the ship left Togoria, headed to a nearby Empire shipyard for maintenance, supply and fresh crew, for the Stormtroopers and resources they had left behind in the Humanitarian effort.

One step closer to destiny.
