  • Passengers - Capable of cost efficiently transporting multiple cars full of people between locations.
  • Amenities - Additional cars with specialized purposes (e.g. Dining, Sleeping, Moon-roof/Night Viewing) can be added for city-to-city travel.
  • Cargo - Additional cars can be added to accommodate the larger freight to be transported. However, cargo exceeding normal car size may force the train to travel at a slower speed, and the cargo may be exposed to the elements.

  • Mass Transit - Can rapidly relocate passengers and cargo within a city, or from one city to another.
  • Hovertrain - Able to cross even rough terrain since the train does not need to make physical contact with the ground.
  • Energized - The train is powered by fuel cells frequently charged in-flight by external rings it passes through along its route. These rings help divert the environmentally-friendly X.D. Energy* into the train to maintain operations.
    • * Where available. Customers that have not purchased an Extra Dimensional Conductor and connected it to an electrical grid will need to supply an alternative energy source. Party Favors can assist in making adjustments to accommodate a variety of options.

  • On Tracks - While not forced to follow a specific path, the Hovertrain's fuel reserves are constantly replenished during the trip. Diverting from the established path will likely result in running out of fuel and coming to a sudden halt on the ground. The train is also not capable of rapid changes to direction and acceleration making off-road excursions quite dangerous.
  • Rail System - Recharging rings, an electrical grid or beaming platform, and boarding stations are required to enable the hovertrain to function and exchange passengers or cargo. Each of these requires space and infrastructure to build.
  • Civilian Rail - Additional armament can be placed on an open-bed vehicle for special occasions, but by and large the Hovertrain is not designed for combat. Some additional fortification to its exterior and shields help protect passengers from casual assault, but a well-equipped force could board the train in most cases.

Illyria's three major cities stand largely apart. Each has grown over the past several years, but their people are unable to easily meet one another; and it's easy to dismiss the concerns of those you've never met. In order to help bring Illyria's people together, and to help facilitate future projects by enabling rapid transportation of materials and personnel, the Chief Manufacturing Consultant Cali Ziiva Cali Ziiva set in motion plans to construct a global hovertrain rail system.

The plan focuses on the three major cities, but also lays out a framework of including various smaller towns across the planet. Construction will take time, but the sooner it begins the sooner the people of Illyria can begin reaping the rewards.

Of course this technology isn't limited to just Illyria. As the first customer they got quite the discount. Other planets are welcome to solicit construction of a similar rail system on their world(s) as well, and Party Favors will gladly support them in enabling freedom of movement.[/FONT]
