Thank ya kindly, do you know who's owned Ryloth the past 30ish in game years? Or anyone who writes a character from there looking for a pilot buddy?
Thank ya! Appreciate that, love all the lore this place has, awesome stuffIn recent months, Ryloth has sat neutral on the map. Most recently - January to April, thereabouts - Ryloth supported the short-lived efforts of The Foundation and its Jedi Coalition (read: Rebel-style activity!). Prior to that, Ryloth had periods of being under the sway of the Mandalorian Enclave and prior to that, a previous iteration of the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), interspersed with being independent. All of those factions are currently defunct.
Many of those involved with the Foundation filtered out to the below factions when it dispersed:
All three of those factions collaborate together on plots and story. Also, many people/characters from other factions have independently written on Ryloth and their characters have history there, whether their character is from Ryloth or not. It's a popular planet!
- The current iteration of the CIS, at present a minor faction, is operating in that region.
- The High Republic (who I am faction staff for) borders Ryloth right now.
- I'd also plug the Mandalorian Empire here - some of the characters/writers there have been involved with most, if not every one of the previously mentioned factions that have held Ryloth.
So, lots of options for you to choose from. Whatever most grabs your interest!
