Howard Skywalker is the twin acquaintance of Luke Skywalker. They are not related, he is not a clone or a doppelganger. They just happen to look and sound identical. Howard grew up on Tatooine on a moisture farm like Luke Skywalker. He created a lookalike of Luke's lightsaber when the force called him to do such a thing, and now he travels the galaxy pretending to be Luke Skywalker, searching for the real saber. He has enough charisma to convince a large fan-following.
