Most of mine are even younger compared to RL me, for the most part, thus far - I tend to doubt myself when it comes to older characters, as I'm crippled with anxiety and depression, so I'm a bit of a mess, even as I have tons of fun crafting characters for any form of RP. I've got a handful of middle aged or older characters, but they've yet to be polished up and put down into written form.
My being ATROCIOUS at writing the beginning of anything (I begin every bit of writing I do from the middle, then go to possible endings, then go back to the beginning and STRUGGLE intensely with what to write even then; I SUCK at beginnings); I don't know how common that form mental block is for writers...
