how am i doing?

gonna be honest its kinda hard to rp in some thread, i'll use blood debt as a example. everyone else is so much more experienced doing rp then i am and like everything their posting is great, then here i am lol. like i wanna post in that thread(and others but this is te example) but i feel kinda....is intimated the right word? like i love it here its great and i know im overthinking it but still. i've also noticed im weirdly worse when its just me, like for example again in blood debt, im going to be fighting a bunch of like sithspawn and soldiers. eventually going to try to raid a droids factory. but i've noticed i feel lile its harder to write that? its weird. lile pve is hard, no influence writing i guess. worse paet if i know im over thinking it.

anyway minirant over how do y'all think im doing overall with novac?

You're not alone on the PVE front when the posting is solely focused on your character with no allies or direct teammates. I myself struggle a lot when jumping into certain threads without the ease of having others' posts to work alongside.

I also find it difficult to put my characters out there in unfamiliar crowds, meeting new people, because I wind up overthinking my posts: "Will Balun be wanted in this discussion or will he be intruding for these characters/writers", etc.

I've been on site since 2015 and still have these moments. I can only encourage you to try and push through it. I don't have any specific feedback, sadly, since we haven't written together yet, but I've seen you trying to get invested in RP, and if you like, I'd be happy to thread with you. Chaos really is great. I still absolutely love writing here. Just keep persevering; the more you write, the more people get to know your character, and the easier it will become.

Hey it's snek kid.

You're doing fine. Keep RPing. It's hard and intimidating at first but practice will make perfect.

Haven't really interacted with you so not too much on feedback. Maybe start capitalizing your sentences? (If you're on mobile I get it might be extra work.)

I saw you were looking for a Master and Matsu replied. Lean in to that and have fun.

or will he be intruding for these characters/writers"

Yes, he will be :p

I don't want to knock you or your confidence. I think it's great that you've joined the website and that you're trying to get involved in all the threads that are going on. So don't take this criticism badly or to heart.

I've read quite a few of your posts. They contain a lot of spelling errors and grammatical mistakes. If you are not sure how to spell a word (I do this all the time) or want to improve your grammar then Googling your spelling (to see if it is correct) is how I learned how to spell words right as I want the people who read my posts to understand what I am trying to say and to have a good time while reading it too.

Secondly I think you should flesh out your character. As I said before I have read quite a few of your posts and I know that Novac is a snake, that he is a Jedi, and he likes fighting bad guys. These are good places to start. But I would like to know where Novac is from, why he is fighting bad guys, why he is a Jedi, what he is thinking or feeling. This type of character development makes for good roleplay.

If there is anything you should take from my feedback it is this: tidy up your posts. At the moment they are difficult to read and follow. Try using paragraphs (instead of your post being one big block of text). Use quotations (" ") when you are writing what Novac is saying so people can tell what it is what in the post.

Hopefully you've been enjoying the website and the feedback given in this thread will improve your experience even more!
