OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To use the new organization template to expand on Vizsla's lore.
  • Links: House Vizsla.
  • Company Submission: House Vizsla, LLC.
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Organization Name: House Vizsla.
  • Classification: Family/Clan/Political Organization
  • Loyalties: Ronan Vizsla, Clan Vizsla & House Vizsla.
  • Organization Symbol: See above.
  • Description: House Vizsla is a family, clan and political organization wrapped-up together. Ancestrally speaking Clan Saxon and Clan Wren have sworn their allegiance to Clan Vizsla and formed the House together, but after the events of the Red Coronation things have become... more complicated. Whilst many of Clan Vizsla remained loyal to their Alor (though even there many found themselves disillusioned by the prospect of leaving their home) the split within the former two clans was more evenly split in the long run. Some chose to follow Vizsla in their exile, others remained with the Mandalorian Empire and some... they decided to turn their backs on both. A Mandalorian cannot be controlled, they can only be guided while hoping for the best. While Saxon and Wren are the subsequent leading voices after Vizsla, the House has attracted dissenters and rebels from other Clans as well. Many who found themselves unwilling or unable to swear loyalty to the reigning Mand'alor found their way to them. From Clan Fett, ruled by [member="Koda Fett"], and some of Clan Echoy'la (a faction of mandalorians who remained on Echoy'la once their system joined the Clans) House Vizsla has become more and more diverse throughout the years.
GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
  • Headquarters: Echoy'la & Ne'tra Fleet, a nomadic fleet consisting of civilian ships.
  • Realm:
    [HQ] Echoy'la.
  • [LLC] Kol Atorn.
  • [LLC] Dantooine.

[*]Domain: During the years of the Alor'e Council years ago House Vizsla had made Wayland their designated capital and home. They lived there, thrived through adversity and survival against the elements, building up a protectorate within the hostile environments. The events of the Red Coronation has put an end to this. Under the leadership of their current Alor, Ronan Vizsla, they left Mandalorian Empire space behind. Natural allies with the Sith Empire House Vizsla found a new home on Echoy'la and a number of other Mandalorian-aligned words within Carnifex's nation. While they have made Echoy'la their new home, they do not lay complete claim to it. Instead they have lend their assistance to the other Clans already living there. Maintaining the air filters, repairing structural weaknesses and otherwise showing that they had not come to the system as conquerors. Other presences in the system are among others, Clan Munin, Clan Fett and the Sith Empire, who has established their FLEETCOM there as well.
[*]Notable Assets:

SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Hierarchy: As much a collective of Clans as it is a political organization House Vizsla maintains the standard hierarchy that exists within clans as well. After all, Mandalorians aren't exactly known for their love for complication. The House is run by an Alor and assisted by their Alor'ad, after that the hierarchy of the clans themselves take over in the appropriate fashion.
  • Membership: As a collective of many clans with aligning interests House Vizsla is one of the larger political Mandalorian organizations. Vizsla enclaves number in the thousands and more and that doesn't include the numbers of Saxon and Wren, who keep their own numbers. To join the House one simply needs to appeal to their Alor, show that their interests align with the current membership and offer something of worth to the House. This could be raw materials, access to ships, expertise in infrastructure or other assets, anything that could increase the competency of the overall House.
  • Influence: House Vizsla's primary influence point is currently on Echoy'la, but they maintain bonds on Kol Atorn, Dantooine and other (former) Mandalorian worlds such as Yavin and Junction. Most of the former revolves around small Vizsla populations, debts owed and assistance rendered in the past. The people of Agamar still remember the time that Clan Vizsla led the charge to break the Death Watch's assault on the Mandalorian Clans.
  • Climate: As with many Mandalorian Houses and Clans there is a healthy level of distrust, competition and caution amidst the ranks of the House Vizsla. While many of them have agreed that this is the right course of action, there are grumblings in some corners... suggesting that it is time for change or even a return to the natural order. Builders and killers vie against one another as the long-term direction of the House is put to question. Whichever way it goes, it will determine events for years to come.
  • Reputation: The name Vizsla is steeped in distrust, blood and betrayal. Ronan Vizsla, the current Alor, has not helped the matters with his natural inclination towards violence and destruction. The Red Coronation only solidified this reputation, where rather than bow and attempt to mend things from the inside... he marched into the throne room demanding immediate restoration of the values he and his consider sacred. Blood followed. In recent days more pragmatic voices have gained the ear of the Alor of House Vizsla, suggesting that it is time to build rather than destroy. Many still view Vizsla and their Alor with (earned) suspicion but change can be seen. Slow change. Some voices are now countering the usual narrative, pointing towards the assistance the House has rendered to the people around them.
  • Rules: The Resol’nare first and foremost. Loyalty to the House is paramount, while there is a lot of tension within the organization when it comes to its direction, many of its members close rank against existential threats.
  • Doctrines: The Clans of House Vizsla have as much differences as they have agreements, but the broadest line they find common place in is the consideration of debt. If debt is incurred it becomes necessity to repay it in one way or another. It could be a life, could be monetary or assistance in a time of need, but the debt must be repaid in equal terms or you will be looked upon unfavorably by the others. Never work for nothing, because a contract forged on the foundation of nothing is worth nothing. Respect the contract unless it negatively impacts the House or the Clan. The doctrines and even the rules of House Vizsla may shift when a new political wind blows, when priorities change and events force them to adapt, but throughout it all the Resol'nare remains a steady foundation. A bedrock to rely on.
  • Goals:
Reestablish House Vizsla on its own territory and bring prosperity to its people.
  • Build a new future (one of the new guards) or take a new future (the old guard).
  • Thrive.
  • Deny the Infernal and bring her end.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
House Vizsla was formed by political necessary and a desire to survive.

A wolf is nothing without its pack and Vizsla understood this better than most. For many years the House maintained their own affairs- they waged war together, build together and where they disagreed? Well, there was always the bloodcircle to sort things out. Much changed after the events of the Red Coronation. Sides were picked, families ripped apart by another entree to a Civil War already fought only a few years ago.

Some differences... are simply irreconcilable.

With Wayland no longer a viable option they decided on Echoy'la as their new home and seat. In the past the members of the House had been content with mostly sticking to themselves, unless existential threats came to challenge them, but now? Now there was a goal, a destination and while there is disagreement how to get there (take or build, the eternal question) there is a single agreement.

Wandering the stars separately would weaken them all.

Those that remained with Vizsla, perhaps inspired by examples like [member="Connory"], have started to use their skills for more than just mercenary work. Now House Vizsla is slowly becoming a political entity that effects change throughout old mandalorian stomping grounds and affiliate worlds. They offer assistance, a new perspective and leave with a suggestion to visit them at Echoy'la.

If they want something else in their life.

Their numbers grow, wealth trickles in as debts are settled and more is build. Only the future knows what will come next.
