House Renoux has made war, and the mastery of it, their one pursuit for centuries. As such they have devoted their lives and livelihood to the extension of it. To be seen as weak is unacceptable.

The one word was the final thing Duke Abram Renoux said to his only son Ulysses on his deathbed. Ulysses had never been accepted, truly, but as the child of Abram and Selina, there was no obstacle to his ascension. Several years into his rule, House Tiberos rose against him. The precise and brutal response to the rebellion solidified Duke Renoux's hold on Jaemus. No other vassal house dared rise up against him afterward. He never married in hopes of securing an alliance with another house to strengthen his position, though no suitable offers presented themselves. His hopes of strengthening his house now rest with his three children Romin, Rexanne, Ariellyn, and the ward Cyressa Tiberos.

Ulysses Renoux never married, but instead fathered his children with a loyal consort. Deciding it best to allow himself to be open for a political marriage with hopes of leveraging more power for himself, he remained single. No offers of value presented themselves. His consort enjoys the benefits of being his wife without the legal right to claim them.

Aryn and Adra are the younger twin sisters of Ulysses Renoux. To ensure their husbands would never have control of the House, Peytor Renoux decreed the line of succession through his daughters’ children. Should anything happen to Ulysses' family, the children of his sisters would be next in succession. As such, their children were required to take up the Renoux name, and their husbands denied the right.

Tiberos Remnants:

The once loyal House Tiberos served as a vassal house under the control of House Renoux. Granted nobility by the greater house, the Tiberos family served the house through farming and agriculture. A rebellion led to swift action by Ulysses Renoux seeing the primary family decimated and their noble executed. Those who refused to swear loyalty were either killed or scattered, while those who returned to their fealty were spared.
