- Deathblow: It fires powerful ammunition, and no matter the variety, all are capable of very high damage
- Modularity: Capable of accepting a wide variety of variant ammo from Sword Herald's 7.62x51 mm Ammo Line, along with various scopes. Even common 7.62x51 mm Ammo from other manufacturers is acceptable
- Apocalypse Proof: Capable of operating in nearly any weather or environmental condition, capable of firing even after full immersion in mud, sand, snow, or water. In general it's incredibly easy to maintain and repair to full condition, even with minimal resources
- Range: High Range of 450 meters
- Accuracy: Match Grade Accuracy
- Common Parts: Common Parts: Designed so that parts to make it could be found literally in junkyards and made even with very out of date tools in a home made fashion...it's nearly impossible to disrupt production, especially for very determined resistances (However, garage or junkyard built examples may vary in quality, causing listed statistics to drop by a rating)
- Mage Killer: Lightsabers have very great difficulty blocking it's shots, which melt and cause possible splash damage, or even possibly explode on contact, depending on the ammo variants used
- Low Ammo Count: Pathetically small eight shots, loaded by en bloc clips. Weight and ammo size limits amount that can be carried
- Cannot be silenced: It's design prevents it from being silenced
- Variant ammo issues: Using more exotic Ammo Types may result in loss of range and penetrative power
A solid, well built battle/scout rifle designed to take Multiple forms of ammo and scopes, this rifle works equally well at all ranges, due to its intense stopping power. Designed by Maple Harte for the open market, The Battle Rifle's versatile nature renders it highly lethal in the hands of a well trained Marksman. Factory made examples are built to much more exacting, yet exceedingly efficient standards than other slugthrower weapons, resulting in a superior Semi-Auto Rifle that can serve Multiple Purposes while garage built knockoffs may vary in quality. That said, even garage built examples have to try pretty hard to mess such a design up.
An elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.
