PRODUCTION INFORMATION

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Throwing Dagger
  • Size: Small
  • Weight: Light

SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Well-balanced
  • Contains internal poison reservoir

STRENGTHS
  • Blades of the Crow: These small blades are generally intended to be thrown, but are sometimes utilized as close-in melee weapons. As such, they are light, handy, and very accurate.
  • Viper Sting: Like the larger Mistblades, Crow-Daggers contain an internal poison reservoir, allowing the user to apply long-lasting toxins.

WEAKNESSES
  • Pointy Sticks: While they can absolutely be lethal, Crow-Daggers are pieces of sharp metal propelled by a humanoid arm. They are considerably less effective against heavily-armored opponents, or those who are immune to poisons.

DESCRIPTION

A tiny, lightweight knife, the Crow-Dagger is intended to be thrown as well as wielded in melee.

A deceptively-simple weapon, Crow-Daggers are famously lethal in the hands of House assassins, who wield them with inhuman accuracy. A skilled user can send an entire squad of soldiers down in poisoned, shuddering heaps, pierce the vulnerable eyepieces and joints of armored foes, or perform similar astonishing feats of precise throwing.

Like their larger cousins, these weapons contain a tiny internal poison reservoir linked to countless microscopic pores along the surface of the dagger. When a dose is placed within, the dagger will naturally secrete the toxin on its own, alleviating the need to re-apply any such chemicals.

As it is a fairly small, light weapon, the Crow-Dagger lacks much damaging punch on its own. It relies on precise aim, poison, and its user's skill to claim the kill rather than actual power, and should the foe have no weak points to exploit, or immunity to poisons, it can often be found lacking.
