Listeri grinned, as he got up from the bench. " Now ain't that cute. What is it?" He said, looking at the a strange creature. Suddenly, he felt a small buzzing on his wrist." Wait, wha'?" He said, gazing at his wrist. A small hologram showed, a bunch of OST's in the hanger. One of them scratched his ship, a long white scar against the dark green. "No no no NO!" He said, as he began spouting cuss words. Once he stopped, he sported a large scowl on his face, showing his displeasure.

Canal and his men were a singing a tune so they could be motivated and be done with the job. They were all sweaty from the hard work but at the end it would be worth it. They were quite almost done with the engines on the right side of the ship. Just the left engines and we are done. They were doubling the work that they were putting into as they all imagine of the benefits they would all receive.

As they walked along Keziah took note of those things which would need to be fixed. "After we scrub everything down," she stated as she continued to walk along the inner hallways of the ship with the group. Here he was talking about kids again.

Besides the scurrying of a few womp rats which was to be expected the ship was rather quiet. It was eerie quiet if you asked her. There was one thing she was grateful for, it didn't smell.

Her Lightsaber sprang into her hand as she saw the feline creature come out of nowhere it seemed. She knew Calico didn't need any assistance however she wanted to be prepared incase there were any more of them lying around in wait.

Smiling she shook her head as he mentioned it was only blood. It was at least red this time and not purple. Still the sight of one wild creature meant there was probably more and they ought to be on the lookout for that.

The new suit of armor that she was wearing was something that the young woman would have to get used to wearing. It was odd though and constricting but she was told given time that Keziah would get used to it.

The moment she lifted her helmet off of her head hair spilled down onto her shoulders blades. The red head shook her head a brief second before getting on her tiptoes to give Calico quick kiss on the lips.

Turning to the rest of the group she ran a hand through her hair which she knew had to be a complete mess.

Helmet hair...ugh

"Aww, it's so cute. I would love to learn something new." Keziah was always up for learning and perhaps it would get her a little pet as well.

Calico returned the quick little kiss, if nothing more than to show the new boys and girls that Keziah was off limits. He gave Krest's new friend a passing glance. Under normal circumstances, he would have stopped to ask about the thing...but the Chieftain was growing used to the oddities.

He set his helmet back on his head, and turned on his heel. Reports of OSTs scraping up a certain someone's ( @[member="Listeri Dalane"] ) ship were crackling through his helmet. He opened a quick channel to @[member="Dieter Jusik"]. "Hey, Jusik, your boys are wrecking osik. Keep them on tabs ner'vod." He grunted, and made a sharp turn to the left.

The bridge was nothing miraculous. Work stations sat untouched, sprawled across the room. A fine layer of dust had settled over seemingly everything in the room. The view-port shower a dusty, rough landspace that dropped off from a steep incline a few meters in front of the ship. "This is Chieftain Tal'verda, found the bridge." He mumbled into the comms.

Let's see if she'll start.

Calico motioned toward those with him, and marched on up to the central command terminal. "I like the messy look, Kez'ika." He added off the cuff, sounding a bit satisfied with himself. The standard activation codes to these old vessels had become almost public knowledge even before the Gulag plague. Calico punched in the correct digits, and for a moment, there was nothing.

Then something deep within the massive frigate came to life. A deep rumbling reverberated through the ship. Its main reactors were still active, and that meant that it could be repaired in a relatively short time. Lights came to life throughout the Star Destroyer in the sections that still had them. Others remained in the dark. Status screens all over the bridge lit up, fighting to display the mix of colors through the dusty coating.

"Alright...so...who wants to see if the Caf machines still work?"

Jusik looked at his com's with a puzzled expression. Scratched a vessel? That was very out of character for the professional soldiers under his command. Annoyances.

"Fine. Sounds odd but, I'll punish whoever "scratched" the vessel. Also, don't speak Mando Tal'Verda. Jusik out." Jusik replied more than a bit angrily to the Chieftain's com.

With a sigh the General continued along his path to the ordinance bay, keeping tabs on his OST's progress as he did so. They'd only run into local wildlife thus far, nothing that had posed much of a problem, and simply continued their trucking along towards their designated clearing zones.

As Jusik turned the final corner along the decrepit hallway and arrived at a huge caved in door, behind it lights were showing from still active bombs and various other horrific weapons of war.

Jackpot.

Krest nods to the girl, a grin on his face. Man did he love teaching. He waves her over to the big cat, a hand on the side of it's head already. "You just need to reach out. Feel for it's mind. We'll practice on this one cause I'm sure the wild one we're going to get you would love to maul your face." He wasn't joking.

Alliera joined the crew on the engineering deck after a little bit, "Sorry, Got sidetracked by the wildlife." Alliera said, getting under a console and starting to work on getting it put together. After a few moments, Alliera joined in the singing, they were all pretty much songs she knew. before long, Alliera was working deeper in the engines, having put the console back together. The Young Soldier started using the force to move things around where she and the others counldn't reach, and other stuff that was just too dang heavy.

Still with a scowl on his face, he nodded at Calico to signify his thanks. He turned to Krest, with a questioning look on his face. His fingers stopped drumming. Suure, you can control a wild beast using your MIND powers! He thought. "So: Two things, what's your name, and you said that the one of those animals is gonna' want to maul her face, but your gonna make it her pet or something." He said, his eyes narrowed.

Josh had accompanied Calico, just working from the shadows. He laughed a bit at the "quick kiss". "So is she one of the off limits ones you mentioned?" he cracked with a grin. "I'll keep that in mind, promise"

"Looks like this thing isn't as destroyed and desolate as we thought" he commented toward the condition of the Star Destroyer. "Might not take as long as we first thought at this rate"

@[member="Calico Tal'Verda"]

Krest peered at @[member="Listeri Dalane"] for a moment, then laughed, looking back to @[member="Keziah Denko"]. "The Force is stronger then you think. No reason to doubt it. And the name is Krest, you should really learn the name of those above you in ranking."

"It's cute, I could raise a little wild feline of my own." She smiled reaching out to gently pet the feline in @[member="Krest"] arms. "I can kind of mind meld with the animal so we can communicate. This way I can tell them that we aren't going to hurt them that we wish to be their friend and can bond with them."

Continuing she turned to look to Calico. "Now that we have the lights up shouldn't we go check out the rest of the ship. I have a feeling that there are more of these cute little fuzz balls around." She not only wanted to look for one of her own but she wished to explore what was to become their new home. It would take a lot of fixing up but Keziah had faith that they would be able to do it relatively quickly and without much trouble.

Suddenly Canal heard the ship coming to life. "Oh, yeah. Can you hear that lads?" Canal said to his team as they smiled at the ship coming back from its long rest. No time to celebrate right now, we still have to fix the engines.

Then a woman came in and join them in repairing the engines. The more arms, the better. They were now done with the engines on the right and began fixing the engines on the left side. They continued singing as they worked their way on the engines. They were now doubling their efforts since they just needed these engines and that would be it.

Listeri grinned, looking at Krest. " Thanks for the demotion, Boss. Name's Listeri." He said extending his hand, for a good ol' handshake.
"What are ya' thinking about namin' her?" He said, giving a nod toward the animal. It was scruffy and wild, its hair sticking out everywhere. His smile grew wider as he noticed how dang happy it was. Seeing things happy, made him happy.

Krest smirked, shaking @[member="Listeri Dalane"]'s hand firmly. "Krest. This guy's fang though." The little mess was actually kind a big. Almost to the Zabrak's chest in height on all fours. He ruffled the big cats ear, grinning. "He likes everyone at least."

@[member="Krest"]
His smile grew a little bit wider. " Pleased to meet ya'." His hand moved in to pet it, but it bared it's fangs and growled. He jerked a back, a look of surprise and a little bit of fear, when he slowly put it back forward. It growled once more, but began sniffing, and eventually allowed him to pet it. " Friendly, isn't he, or she. Whats his or her species?" He said, wondering if he knew what it was. "Wait... Manka cat?" He said, guessing off the top of his head.

"Not manka, Bha'lir. He'll be a good friend, that much I'm sure of." He smiled at @[member="Listeri Dalane"] briefly before looking around. @[member="Canal Tal'Verda"] was still working on the engines it seemed. He should be able to get those up soon. Anyway, the ship was online again due to Calico, so why not explore the ship?

@[member="Canal Tal'Verda"] @[member="Krest"] @[member="Canal Tal'Verda"]
" Daaw', cu- YES!" He said, raising his fists in the air. His hand darted for his wrist, pressing a couple of buttons as a hologram from inside the ship started up. He pressed a couple of more buttons, as the engines revved up. " Alright, now that this place has started up, I'm gonna' go back into the rust and ruin to see if I can scavenge anything. Who wants to come?" He said, gazing around the hallway.

"Indeed she is, Joshy." Calico gave the Knight playful shove, and turned back to the console. There was a....lot more information to be processed than initially thought. Calico reached up to scratch his chin, wincing down at just what it all said.

"Good idea, go explore. I have this handled...keep in mind of falling dust. Our lads will be setting the outer plating in place soon." He paused before activating the centeral command mainframe, and glanced back at Keziah. "Be careful Kezzy." His gaze then settled on Josh. "Better find a room you like ner'vod. I'm claiming mine as soon as I'm done."

With that, he plunged himself into the mound of information. Every minute or so another system would come online, courtesy of Calico's work.

"And Krest...you better clean up after that thing."
