Home Sweet Home (Kixi)

[member="Kixi Rajki"]

"I am glad you are okay." He replied as he saw that she looked exhausted and was dripping with sweat. "Are you sure? You look exhausted?" He then continued. He could sense that there was something else but he decided to let it go. They needed to focus on the mission at hand so no distractions.

"Would you like to go for a shower now? Refresh before we do our final preparations?" He asked seeing she looked a little worse for where for the time being.

"Well there is something Master."

Kixi would eventually admit. She was hopeless at hiding her feelings. At least to people who cared about her anyway.

"But now is not the time Master, it can wait for another time. I am okay, this I can reassure you."

He then asked her if she wanted to take a shower before their final preparations.

"A shower? Well come to think of it, yeah that would be great actually. I'll do that now and get all ready in my gear once done, so we can then get straight to it."

Kixi would then leave her master and shower. She took her time as the water felt nice. Very nice actually, even if it was mostly recycled water. She put her hand on her right hip. The scar from the stab womb from several years back inflicted by the young boy stood as a constant reminder of her past. One of many reminders of her turbulent past. Her face saddened as she thought of the boy who she had tried to save, but had died when he had tried to kill her. She shook her head in sorrow as she finished up and dried herself up. She very much then put on the same clothes and boots as before and did her hair as per the usual, bob and fringe and then went back to find her master to prepare for the final preparations for the mission.

"Good choice, there will be plenty of time to discuss everything when we return." George replied as Kixi made the decision to go for a shower. As he waited for her to come back he meditated, practising hiding his force signature. Something he would soon teach his young Padawan.

Not too much time passed and his Padawan was back looking much better than before with her hair done and her prep done. "Alright Padawan follow me." As he motioned for her to follow him. He took her into a smallish room that was lit only by one small light. Leaving the room in quite a dark state. Perfect for this lesson. "Alright Padawan we have an important lesson to learn before we head out for Glee. Force Concealment. Can you guess what it is and how it works?" He said as he sat on the floor cross legged as he waited for his Padawan to sit down.

Kixi followed her master [member="George O Rourke"] into the small almost fully dark room. He sat down first on the floor and then Kixi followed suit and also sat down.

"Sure Master, you hide yourself, or better said your presence from the Force from other Force users. Such as in this case the Sith."

Kixi then cranked her head a fraction to the left and then back causing a small crack to be heard as she continued to speak.

"Now I have no idea how to do it, I take it this is what you are going to teach me but umm, I do come to think of it recall doing it before actually. That time when me and some Trandoshan thug and someone else that I can't recall who, infiltrated some Jedi temple somewhere so I could steal some device to____"

Kixi suddenly cut her own speech off short, not finishing off her sentence. She realised that she had been babbling on just a tad too much. However she shook her head all confused as too what she just said.

"Uhhhh did I just really say that?

She paused still all confused.

"I did say it, but why? For a second it felt like I had done that before, what I just said, but ummm, hemmm, no I doubt it, otherwise how would I be here now."

She convinced herself and hopefully her master that that was in fact really the case. Yet questions by her master would probably no doubt be cast upon her later on. This was simply by the sheer nature that Kixi had initially convincingly spurred out those words regarding using the Force, probably the dark side to hide her signature to steal something from the Jedi temple. Intriguing if it were indeed true.

"Okie-doke then Master. Let's begin then. Show me how it is done. I would love to know how to do a Palpatine, and use it to our advantage against the very same Sith who pride themselves in such deceitful tricks."

She giggled a bit as she had mentioned the name Palpatine at a not very good attempt at sarcasm. Palpatine, the name of a Sith emperor from hundreds of years ago, who had succeeded in bringing down the Old Republic and the Jedi by living a double life. Posing as the Supreme Chancellor, yet at the same time deceiving the Jedi as he was really a Dark Lord of the Sith.

As he asked the question the reply he was expecting to get was offered. The fact that she knew what it was but not how to do it was not overly surprising. However what came out of her mouth next was quite so. She explained about possibly using the ability in an attack on a Jedi Temple. That raised the Nautolans eye a little bit, but now was not the time to nit pick about stuff from the past. Kixi had proven to be quite the Jedi so far and if that story were true it would be highlighted upon another time.

"We shall discuss your Jedi Temple shenanigans another time. We must focus as there is much to learn in a short amount of time." He replied with a somewhat troubled look on his face. In a matter of moments it was over. He closed his eyes and began working. "You must focus on the force." Breathing evenly and deep. "Feel it curl up inside. Instead of letting the force flow out of you, hold it in, let it flow within you. Hide it." The Jedi Knight said as he did just that. It took some time to bring the aurora of the force within but he managed to do it without too much of a hit.

Kixi listened to her master attentively as he explained to his Padawan the technique on hiding the Force. He then demonstrated the ability and invited Kixi to try it. Kixi closed her eyes and focused on the Force. She let it flow through her as per the usual norm, but then remembered what her master had first said, who soon after had demonstrated by curling the Force within him so it would not flow out. Made sense she thought for someone wanting to hide themselves from being detected from existence from within the Force. She then proceeded to build a mental barrier from within, stopping the flow of the Force, and thus trapping it inside of her so it curled within her and stayed there.

"That ought to do it Master, Sinalyyyk zin, oops um I meant I believe, that what I'm don't is working."

Kixi momentarily confusing her language between Basic and Züncålidiom, something she often did when speaking and concentrating at the same time.

"Am I invisible in the Force Master?"

Kixi asked in a very sarcastic tone trying to be funny, but at the same time mantaining her high level of concentration and seriousness.

"Yes I do believe so. I can not feel any aurora coming from within you. It seems like you are any other citizen of Glee to me." The big Nautolan replied with a smile as he saw the success on his Padawans face.

"Keep your focus, but also maintain vigilant. These Sith may not know that your a Jedi through the force, but if they can see you as a Jedi there will be another problem." The Jedi Knight reminded. It was time to finish their last preparations and get some rest before the ship dropped from hyperspace in Glee.

"Alright Kixi relax a little and get ready. Soon we will be behind enemy lines. We need to be prepared." George said as he walked back to his quarters.

Kixi had succeeded in hiding her signature from the Force. Good. She thought to herself. Although the mention of the Sith still concerned her.

"Master just one thing?"

Kixi would add just before her master left to go back to his quarters.

"What if being in the presence of the Sith triggers one of those reactions I had when we were training? What do we do? It could blow our cover."

Kixi sounded fairly concerned as she said those words. Her master had only mentioned the Sith on several occasions in the past, and it had triggered reactions that had frightened Kixi. Those images of battling the Sith, along side Mako, getting captured, and what then appeared like an execution, it felt so real, it always frightened her.

'You are strong Kixi. Don't take yourself for granted. I believe in you and if anything happens I will be right beside you." The Nautolan said reassuring his Padawan before leaving the room.

She had nothing to worry about. George had faith in his Padawan and he felt that nothing could stop this mission from being completed.

Kixi nodded to her master to acknowledge his last sentence of reassurance to her. He clearly was confident in her. That gave her some confidence too.

"Very well Master, I shall get myself ready now. By the time we exit hyperspace, I'll be prepped and ready sir."

Kixi gave her master a half grin as he left for his quarters. Kixi would then slowly get herself ready. It wouldn't take long. She was already dressed, her hair was done, she just needed to get all her weapons and gadgets.

As she went off to get them, she paused. It only lasted a second but she saw something flash in her mind. An image of an object. What the heck was that? I'm certain that I've seen that before? She said to herself a little stunned at her revelation. What she saw momentarily in her head appeared to be some sort of orb. A Sith artefact. She made note to investigate it later if she got a chance as she rushed over to her own quarters to ready herself.

As she readied herself, she attached a small device to her chest. It was a body force shield device. She brought it for the just in case, but given her recent Jedi training probably wasn't going to really require it. She then got her recently constructed lightsabre out and concealed it under her vest. Instead she put her small blaster and attached it to a small holder just above her right knee or on her leg. She wasn't too sure if her master would like the fact she had a blaster in the first place, but thought it would be a good way not to appear to look like Jedi which would be vital in their mission. Then she put her long bladed Katana weapon on her back and a couple of stun grenades and a small baton to the opposite side of her lower belt from where her now concealed lightsabre would normally lay. That side of her belt where the lightsabre would normally go remained empty. This lower belt was the belt holding up her pants, not the secondary belt she also wore on her vest that she wore above her hip level. Lastly she put on 2 side braces on both her arms. These contained electronic gizmos for various things.

All readied, she finally sat down and waited for her master to return, not sure what he would think of her once he saw how mercenary like she was dressed. In fact had her lightsabre not been concealed, with all the stuff she had on her, the way she was dressed, with the exception of no insignias on her clothing and no barret, she looked like her former self before she had become a Jedi. A Sajnen Züncålazin warrior. He's not gonna like this at all.. Kixi quietly said to herself as she waited for him to return, a touch of sadness would be undoubtedly seen on her face once he saw her.

George rested for a while which allowed him to mentally and physically prepare. As he awoke he quickly changed from his grey Jedi robes into a black robe. One that would cloak him from head to toe. He would hide his lightsabers within the robes. However not at his hips. Rather attached to the inside of the robe itself. He now looked the part of a dark Jedi or Sith.

As he made his way back into the room with Kixi he saw that she too had added some unique equipment to her outfit. Blasters. grenades. I think she is preparing for the next Galactic War. He thought as he looked at the Padawan. "You look like a walking armoury." It wasn't intended to be an insult. Rather a very obvious description. He was somewhat surprised by her choice of weapons. " I guess we are going for the bounty hunter look. I am sure that will work." He said as he thought about how the both of them would look walking down through Glee. Not a bad situation to be in. Bounty hunter and Sith both actually Jedi.

"Anyhow, we should get ready. The ships about to pull out of hyperspace." He said as he walked towards the cockpit.

As he walked in and sat down there was a few moments before the ships exited hyperspace. "Hold on." The exit of hyperspace was always a little bumpy for the unprepared. Not that he thought she wasn't. Was more out of habit. Especially after piloting Coci around she did not like it at all.

"Alright lets get to the surface quick. Don't want to get caught up out here." He said as he got the ship quickly down to the surface.
Landing the ship on a piece of land just outside the city of Pieralos. The pair of them would have to head underwater to get there. Which was normal for the people of Glee and for guests. Although there was a huge city above the water where the two Jedi needed to go was indeed under the surface. Somewhere George liked to be.

As George returned to go get Kixi, since they would soon be exiting hyperspace, he commented on how Kixi was armed to the teeth. He himself looked like a Sith Lord. A good combination Kixi would agree. A Sith and a bounty hunter.

Kixi got up and gave her master what was a clear fake smile. A tear could be seen in her eyes as she acknowledged him and then followed him to the cockpit.

"The way I'm dressed, I feel nothing but shame. This very much sums up my past, and the little puppet of a tyrant I was."

Kixi would say the words with her head down as the two walked to the ship's cockpit.

"I have no choice I guess, since even a slight use of the Force in any way, like a Force Push for example will alert the Sith. This Master is the only way without the Force I can fight. Yet I can't wait to get the hell out of this Sajnen warrior crap. Thought I would tell you this in advance Master. I'm in a lot of pain at the moment. Mentally that is."

Before Kixi could think further regarding the situation, the ship had exited hyperspace and had landed.

"Okay Master, this is your territory we're now in. Take the lead and I follow you. If anyone asks, you are the Sith Lord and I'm your hired gun. I think it's best that you do all the talking."

As the ship exited hyperspace Kixi commented on the hatred she had for her uniform. "Don't think of it as your battle armour of old. Think about your mission now and how it is your disguise. You'll be fine young Padawan." He replied trying to return her focus. He was interested more in what she said, but now was not the right time for it.

As the ship landed the ramp lowered allowing the pair of them to leave. George with his head completely covered in darkness exited first. Followed closely by what looked like some hired muscle. Guns, grenades. She was prepared for anything. Although their disguises were good, if there were to undertake combat Kixi would be in the better position. With her blasters she could continue her disguise, unlike George. If it came to a duel and George wielding two lightsabers, one green and the other blue it would place doubt in anyone's mind that he in fact who he said he was.

George's feet touched an all too familiar ground. It had been some time since he had set foot on the lands of Glee but he never forgot it. With only a few meters before reaching the edge of the water he turned to his Padawan. "Here use this earwig. We should be able to communicate normally, it should sync up with your re-breather." As he handed over the little piece of equipment. It would allow them to communicate under the water without the aid of the force. Something that could end their mission quickly.

It was now time to enter the water of home. George walked towards the edge of the water before diving in. The water was just as he remembered, cool but not cold. Beautiful it still was, but not quite as much as it was. The Sith had turned the beautiful world dark. The darkside crawling through every inch of it. Destroyed George to see it, but he had a mission to do. And here it started.

Kixi didn't speak much from the point where she followed her master to the cockpit for until they exited hyperspace. Rather she listened to her master regarding first her uniform, and then the final preparations for the mission. She only nodded when necessary to acknowledge him.

As they exited the ship's cockpit, it was evidently clear that without the aid of the Force, that Kixi was in a far better position to fight than her master. As her master handed her an earwig so underwater communication could be achieved without the use of the Force, Kixi would spreak a few words to her master before diving in the water and following him in.

"Despite the circumstances, I look forward to seeing your home Master [member="George O Rourke"]. A person's home usually defines a lot about an individual."

Kixi smiled politely at her master before adding one last thing.

"I'm quite adapt at fighting minus the Force with all the weaponry that I'm carrying. I've had the training and so forth. You have nothing but your Jedi lightsabres on you."

Kixi emphasised the word lightsabres as she continued.

"If we get into a situation where you can't talk your way out of it, please allow me to intervene and fight. I won't like it, but I know I can."

Kixi finished off saying putting her left hand on her master's shoulder, facing him and looking him dead in the eye with pure seriousness and determination in her eyes, before then taking her hand off his shoulder and activating her body shield. Clearly she didn't want to get wet, and the body shield would prevent her from getting wet as she would eventually swim under the water with her master to their destination. George, after acknowledging his padawan, then dived into the water. Kixi immediately followed.

"I'm not so sure if this place defines me any more. The Sith have turned this place to the darkness. It almost doesn't feel like home any more." The Nautolan could feel the darkness from his home planet sinking into him. How the times had changed. Once upon a time it was a safe planet. Under the watchful eye of the Jedi like George's parents. But that time was long gone.

What Kixi had said after that was absolutely true. She would be their best chance at survival if combat was to begin. "I understand, I'll do my best to let you deal with it." George replied as he jumped into the water.

As he made his way to the underwater city the lights of old were now barely lite. It seemed more like a slum than a city. Which ironically was lucky for them. They fit in with the dodgy community that had come to live in the city. And just as quickly as they made their way to the city they were faced with trouble.

"Oi you. I don't recognise you. What are you doing here." The brash looking young Nautolan said. He looked ragged, as if he had lived on the street all his life. He looked a few years younger than George, around sixteen.
"Non of your concern. Now please allow us passage... Unless you have a death wish." The blue Nautolan said calmly. He did not wish to harm the young adolescent. But in order to keep up with appearances and hopefully avoid conflict he tried to intimidate the young man.
"Oh yeah whatever, don't go messen around. We don't have time to deal with you scum." He spat back as he turned his back on George and Kixi.
"As you wish." George replied as he walked straight past the small gang that seemed to be following the young Nautolan leader.

"Delightful aren't they Kixi?" George said quietly through his coms keeping face to avoid suspicion.

There was one obstacle that they had already managed to avoid. Surely there would be more. But preferably after seeking out the informant and getting the information they risked their lives to get.

Kixi stood behind her master and made herself look as menacing as possible while George spoke to the young troubled Nautolan. It wasn't a hard task for her since she clearly looked like the menacing one, a walking armoury so to speak, yet the young Nautolan wasn't at all menaced by her presence, her alien human presence for that matter. I don't wanna have to kill this kid, nor his buddies already, were the words that popped into Kixi's head, and it was then to her upmost relief that she didn't have to, as her master had successfully got them walking.

"Indeed."

Was Kixi's quick reply to her master's sarcasm regarding the young Nautolan and his gang.

"Those were just juveniles Master. We should try and take as much cover as we can when moving around. I think it will not be as easy as it was this time to dismiss the next curious lot we run into if they happen to be older and wiser. This informant, where exactly do you intend to find him or her now that we are here?"

Kixi slightly nudged her master as she spoke to further emphasis the urgency of the matter, while thinking to herself and shaking her head at the same time. If he doesn't hurry up, it will mean more company, which means a fight will be inevitable.

Kixi was right, to some degree. George knew where he was going, but had no idea on what he was looking for. Male female, droid even. George had no idea what he was looking for. "I have a set of coordinates, that is where the informant should be. Don't fret Padawan. We'll get there." He tried to say somewhat confidently but Kixi could tell he wasn't 100% sure of what he was saying.

"There isn't too much further." He reassured his Padawan as they continued.

For another 5 or so minutes they walked through the streets of Glee making their way closer to he coordinates that George was given. As they arrived George saw a small building. All windows and doors had been covered so there was no looking in and no looking out. "Looks like we are here." George said as he walked up to the door. He gave the door a quick few knocks as he awaited a reply.
"Who is it." Came a deep voice from the other side of the door.
"I am looking for someone, can I come in?" George replied.
"State your name."
"George."
"George who?"
"I am a courier of information, if you don't have it I'll be on my way." George said getting slightly ignorant with the situation. I thought this would have been much easier. He thought to himself as the door slowly peered open.

The room was dark and two beady eyes peered out looking past George and Kixi looking to see if anyone else was watching. As they entered the shady man closed the door quickly behind them, leaving the room completely shrouded in darkness for a few moments before a single light on the opposite wall to the door was lit.
"I need you're help Jedi." A females voice could be heard from the dark corner of the room.
"What is it you need?" George replied curiously. This mission was changing rapidly. First information, now for help.
"I... I need you to take something back with you." The woman still shrouded by darkness in the corner of the room.
"Please show yourself. I would like to know what I am dealing with." George replied as he waited for the woman to show herself.

George and Kixi managed to get to wherever the co-ordinates had led them too without arousing any further attention. They entered a dark building, although it's occupant initially had been hesitant to let them in. What sounded like a female in a dark corner of the room now had asked the question of help, even though they had initially come here seeking only information.

"Master it's not that all uncommon for a prime objective of a mission to change during a mission."

Kixi clearly making reference to the fact that this individual now had asked them to bring something back with them. However Kixi didn't like the fact that she nor her master couldn't see the would be woman shrouded in the dark corner. Kixi immediately turned on a small, but powerful torch that was part of her left arm brace, and then pointed her arm in the direction of the woman, so the light could shine at her, revealing her.

"Now what do we have here Master?"

Kixi would immediately say to her master once the light from her torch revealed the mystery person.

[member="George O Rourke"]

[member="Kixi Rajki"]

"That I understand, can just be frustrating not knowing what your actual objective is." George replied quietly to his Padawan.

As Kixi illuminated the woman in the corner a middle aged Nautolan woman holding an infant could be seen sitting in the corner. And as soon as she was illuminated what appeared to be her husband rushed to her side.
"Please, please turn that off. If the baby wakes up you'll alert them all." The man seemed worried and quickly pestered Kixi to turn off her light. George decided that would be best to follow his instruction and motioned for Kixi to lower her touch so it was pointed directly at them, rather at the floor allowing enough light for everyone to be seen.
"So what is it you need help with? What do we need to take back to the Coalition?" George asked curiously as the infant managed to continue sleeping.
"Our daughter. She's different. The people here, they want to take her. Apparently she is special."
"Special how? Do you know?" The Blue Nautolan replied still curious. He had his speculations but didn't want to assume.
"We are not exactly sure. We over heard them talking about being strong in the force. But how we do not know anything about the force. How is she?" The woman was clearly scared and could be seen trembling as she tried to hold he baby still.
"It is alright ma`am. We'll protect her." George replied confidently. It was his duty to protect the innocent and help destroy the evil one Sith. If t meant keeping a force sensitive away from them it was what he will do.

"Please say your good-byes. If you want her to be safe staying here is not the best idea. They will track her eventually." It was time for them to leave and say good-bye to their daughter, hopefully not for the last time. As the baby remained a sleep it was time for them to leave.

Kixi made no argument at lowering her torch once she could see the situation. She listened to her master and the Nautolan couple converse attentively. The baby is Force sensitive. That's a clear given. Her master accepted to take the baby back with them, there was no doubt if it were discovered, and eventually it would be if they didn't take it, that the Sith would take it.

"Okay Master, it's time to go now, before we are all discovered. Since I'm the walking armoury, you take the baby, that way if any unexpected trouble should find us, I'll be ready to fight. Besides I have no idea how to handle a baby, let alone a Nautolan one."

Kixi would then end her conversation motioning for the door.
