PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Emits low-frequency neurosonic and EM pulses that agitate cognitive centers used in Force concentration
  • Radius of effect: ~25 to 30 meters, depending on local interference
  • Provides a secondary effect of interfering with enemy electronics, such as commlinks, sensors and guided missile systems
  • Radius of effect: ~40 to 45 meters, depending on local interference
  • Provides a tertiary effect of disturbing certain species of wildlife, discouraging them from approaching the device
  • Radius of effect: ~35 to 40 meters, depending on local interference
  • Multi-unit resonance scaling for team deployment
STRENGTHS
  • Anti-Force: As was intended by Selrik Lorcas's previous iteration of the deice, the obvious draw of the HNDA-Mk III/T is its ability to disrupt a Force user's ability to focus, causing difficulty concentrating on advanced Force techniques like telekinesis, mind tricks, or Battle Meditation.
  • Team Amplification: The use of multiple units in a single location can either extend the effective range of the device or amplify its anti-force effect on a particular target.
  • Hard to Resist: Much like the technology it was based on, the HNDA-Mk III/T targets the user's mind, not the Force itself—bypassing some conventional Force defenses.
  • Electronic Jammer: Unlike its previous iterations, the HNDA-Mk III/T provides electronic disruption capabilities, boosting its versatility.
  • Wildlife Repellent: The HNDA-Mk III/T has the curious effect of repelling certain species of wildlife, causing them to avoid the HNDA-Mk III/T entirely. This feature may have future applications against Sithspawn.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Effect on Non-Force Sensitives: The HNDA-Mk III/T offers no known advantages against Non Force-Sensitive targets, besides its ability to interfere with electronics.
  • Shielded/Resilient Minds: Highly trained or enraged Force users (especially Sith) may power through the disorientation.
  • Fragile: The HNDA-Mk III/T is highly fragile and susceptible to being damaged, even from accident knocks and bumps.
  • Temperamental: The HNDA-Mk III/T requires constant adjustment to ensure that it is working at maximum efficiency, and may require frequent recalibration of its systems.
  • Indiscriminate: The HNDA-Mk III/T does not differentiate friend from foe. All force users, regardless of affiliation, will be targeted by the HNDA-Mk III/T, and friendly electronics must be calibrated against the EM pulses and frequencies used by the device.
  • Inconvenient: The HNDA-Mk III/T is too large and bulky to be carried by a single trooper for extended periods of time but is also too small to require specialized transport, making it perfectly inconvenient to carry.
DESCRIPTION

The anti-force technology created by Selrik Lorcas was certainly impressive by any stretch of the imagination, and is highly sought after by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. However, there exists real fears that access to this technology may be disrupted, which has led Mahporeem to develop its own version of the technological marvel, the HNDA-Mk III/T.

Combining the best elements of the HNDA-Mk I and the FDL-Series Modular Suppression Grid, the HNDA Mk-III/T has been upscaled to provide its users with a larger radius of anti-force suppression, tripling the effective reach of the HNDA-Mk I . As a consequence, the HNDA-Mk III/T can no longer been worn like its predecessor can, and has instead been converted into a deployable tower. The HNDA-Mk III/T is designed to be statically placed in strategic locations, giving anyone within its radius the benefits of anti-force suppression.

Besides combating force users, the HNDA-Mk III/T also offers other tangible benefits to those who use it. The device is capable of scrambling enemy electronics, nullifying the advantages brought by using commlinks, scanners and guided missile systems. Of course, friendly electronics must be calibrated agains the EM pulses and frequencies used the HNDA-Mk III/T, lest they be caught up in the interference range of the device.

The HNDA-Mk III/T has also been seen to repel certain species of wildlife, and may have potential applications in combating Sithspawn, though this particularly application of the device still requires more testing to confirm. Nonetheless, the HNDA-Mk III/T builds upon the storied legacy left by Selrik Lorcas, and will undoubtedly prove its worth over the coming conflicts between the Imperial Confederation and the Sith Order.
