- Long, Long Way From Home: The tracking fob has advanced locating properties. Bouncing signals off of satellites, planetary communicators, and space stations, the device is able to track down targets across numerous stars and systems. Once the ping is caught, the device can locate individuals down to the planet.
- Time After Time: Persistence is the name of the game. Until a target has been found and the bounty has been collected, the device will not stop tracking. Long term survivability for the device and the signal ensure this.
- Here Without You: What the tracker makes up for in long range capabilities, it loses in close space. This tracker is meant for locating targets that are halfway across the galaxy. Not targets who are three doors down. Once they have been narrowed down to a singular planet, that is when a short-range tracker should be used.
- 8675309: In order for the device to work, a target must still be pinged by the bounty hunters' network. Each target needs to have a BIC (Bounty Identification Code.) If the bounty is not in the system, then they are not able to be tracked.
The HL-86 Tacking Fob, most commonly known as the "Hitlist," is a highly specialized tracking device that is used for bounty hunting. Created out of necessity by the Bounty Hunters' Guild and Black Market engineers, the Hitlist was designed to be the ultimate tool for hunting down individuals, items, locations, along with any-and-all bounty targets.
The galaxy is full of poorly encrypted signals and relays. By utilizing these open transmission paths, the device is able to bounce information all the way across the galaxy. This allows real time tracking data for hunters, no matter what the target may be. Hitlist will track targets until the end of time, or until they are caught. Once a bounty is in the system, it stays in the system. Hyperspace storms, asteroid fields, Space Weird interferences, none of it will stop the signal from being transmitted. This makes the device the perfect tool for bounty hunting.
