- Recharge It comes with wires to plug into a power cell and recharge.
- Blast Blast The first two shots are to burden a lightsaber-wielder with the potency of the blasts.
- Stun The third shot is a stun.
- Non-Lethal But the concussive blasts will hurt like a Hutt's barrel roll on top of you. It was made to be concussive so it can be felt even through (most types of) armor.
- Energy demanding It drains a power cell almost instantly to shoot such powerful blasts. Cannot be re-used so easily.
- Recharge Takes several minutes.

The whole idea behind the weapon is: To burden a Sith, or any lightsaber wielding individual, with two powerful blasts in quick succession so deflecting gets harder and harder, and then the third shot is to stun the enemy, giving Hild time to flee.
In theory that's a perfect plan. In practice she might meet a master of deflecting, or someone with immunity to pain. But fingers crossed.
So she had this custom made for her from acquaintances in the underworld, detailing how it was to work but not the why.
