OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Update an older NPC
  • Image Credit: Click - Wowpedia
  • Role: High Warlord of the Daeux Los'ar
  • Links: Previous Submission
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: 60
  • Force Sensitivity: Non-Force User
  • Species: Sithspawn Graug
  • Appearance: Monstrous and cruel, the visage of the God-Splitter has grown only more grotesque over the years as his body suffered under enemy fire and the hand of his insidious masters. The wounds inflicted upon him at Thyferra necessitated intervention by the Zambrano Kings, who took his broken body deep beneath Khar Delba and subjected it to horrid infusions of Dark Side energy and biomechanical technology born from Yuuzhan Vong biots. The result of these experiments was an even greater monster, Malgrog's body now littered with razor-sharp protrusions, his skin as sharp as beskar, and the Hssiss skull he once wore as decoration now permanently fused to his right shoulder.

His right hand, lost on Thyferra, was not replaced as one would imagine. Instead, the wound was allowed to gape open obscenely, biomechanical cables pulsing with energy around the entry point while the skin scabbed and flaked away periodically. Within his forearm existed a modified Yaret-Kor organic plasma cannon, capable of spewing molten rancid bile generated from within Malgrog's own festering internal organs. It was hot enough to melt through durasteel and other equivalent materials.

The modifications to his body also increased his size as well, with Malgrog now standing at roughly four meters upright.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: High Warlord Malgrog; the God-Splitter (Gab Svr'kkou), Chief of Chiefs (Cl'ogag Cl'ogt)
  • Loyalties: The Sith Empire, the Dark Legion
  • Wealth: High
Malgrog has amassed a huge fortune from near constant raiding and plundering of systems throughout the Mid Rim and Expansion Regions, waylaying entire economies to fill his own personal coffers.
  • The Graug of the Dark Legion also pays tribute unto him by donating a quarter portion of whatever plunder they accumulate after a month's worth of raiding.

[*]Notable Possessions:
  • Bleached skull of his sire, Warlord Goth'vor
  • A collection of broken lightsabers from the Jedi he's slain over the decades
  • One-Handed Serrated Beskar Axe

[*]Skills:
  • Malgrog is a seasoned warrior and is highly proficient in close-quarters combat, utilizing his alchemized claws or his serrated axe to dismember his foes.
  • A capable battlefield commander, Malgrog is noted as being above his Gruag brethren for his use of traditional military tactics to coordinate the Dark Legion. This is in due part to his tutelage under the Zambrano Kings.

[*]Personality: Cruelty and rage incomprehensible churn and boil within the mind of the High Warlord, poisoning his thoughts with visions of barbarity and destruction on a scale incalculable. These dark impulses have long ruled him, exacerbated by those who gift Malgrog a vehicle through which to channel these desires. He knows no other life but war, brutal and ceaseless conflict rank with the foul stench of decaying flesh and stagnant pools of blood and filth.

He would prefer no other life, for the Graug were born to idolize such monstrosity. The scars on his mind are as twisted and grotesque as the ones littering his blistering flesh, the faintest glimmers of the red haze of battle ever present upon the periphery of his vision. Weakness is anathema, fit only for the lowliest of vermin to wallow in.

Malgrog abhors the law and order that his masters impose upon the galaxy, but he has no choice but to bend the knee to them. For he is shackled in both body and spirit, a slaver who in turn is a slave. He and his kind have been leashed to the whims of the Dark Lords of the Sith, and only can they revel in their basest desires when that leash is loosened.

But never removed.

COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weapon of Choice:
    Alchemized Claws
  • Serrated Axe
  • Plasma Cannon Arm

[*]Combat Function: More akin to a beast than a true warrior, Malgrog wades through the carnage of war like a devil of legend, hacking and breaking bodies almost indiscriminately. He shrugs off shells and blaster fire as if they were nothing, his skin hardened and alchemized to being nearly indestructible, while his claws can easily rend through armor and flesh with a single swipe.

Though he is capable of formulating battle strategies, he is not content to merely watch them play out. The front lines of any conflict are more comfortable a home than any he had ever known.

STRENGTHS
  • Monstrous: Malgrog's body has been twisted and warped into a gruesome new form, hulking and brutish. This new body is perfectly suited for battle, his skin hardened by alchemical means, sharp spines jutting out from his hide, and his claws and teeth made to easily shred through metal and flesh.
  • Commander of Legions: Despite his bestial appearance, Malgrog has been allowed to retain his former intelligence as a battlefield commander and strategist. As a servant of the Ruinous Lords, his mind was needed to be left intact to better serve their goals and ambitions.
WEAKNESSES
  • Only a Warrior: Malgrog has no aptitude for anything other than war, the purpose in which he willingly devotes every fiber of his being towards. He cannot serve in any other capacity.
  • Dark Rage: When the stink of blood clogs his nostrils and the sound of sundered flesh rings in his ears is when Malgrog is truly in his element, and the red haze descends over his vision until all that he can comprehend and experience is blissful carnage and violence. It takes considerable power to bring the High Warlord down from that high, to the detriment of his soldiers and allies.
  • Force Light: With his body alchemized to monstrous proportions, the High Warlord is acutely susceptible to the power of the Force Light; even more so than his un-altered brethren. Yet, he has been conditioned to not shirk before the power of the Light, and though his body may recoil his mind possesses a high tolerance for the agony accompanying the Light Side of the Force in his presence.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Little is documented of Malgrog's early life on Gratos, as the Graug have little patience or desire to record meaningless information. What is known is that Malgrog was sired into the Imperial Clan of the Horde Mother fifty-four years before the advent of the Great Galactic War, bred and raised to be a warrior with little other station in life. Surviving oral recollections recount Malgrog's ferocity and tenacity in battle, describing him as a great warrior worthy of recognition among Graug society.

What information that is accounted for comes from the archives of the Eighth Sith Empire prior to its collapse, when the Sith Lord Darth Vulcanus journeyed to Korriban with several Graug hordes to fight on behalf of the Sith.

Malgrog was but a meager captain during this period, one of the hundreds that followed Vulcanus across the stars. It wasn't until his talents were noticed by the Sith Emperor, Kaine Zambrano, that Malgrog was proclaimed a warlord by decree of the Emperor himself. Zambrano took a liking to Malgrog, eventually bringing the nascent warlord under his control along with all of his Graug warriors and siege engineers.

They would serve Zambrano well following the fall of the Sith Empire, serving as the backbone of his army to conquer his homeworld and claim the Epicanthix throne for himself. In exchange, the Graug was granted the world of Fornow to do with as they pleased, reshaping the land to accommodate their needs and wants.

Malgrog was commanded with expanding the size of the horde and to this end, he dug massive breeding pits across Fornow to expedite the procreation of new Graug soldiers, smiths, engineers, and other creatures to bolster his ranks.

He faithfully served the Zambranos for many years after, often providing the vanguard and siege forces for Kaine's dark army as it waged war across the galaxy under the One Sith and later the Tenth Sith Empire. It was during the Razing of Thyferra that Malgrog was brutally wounded in battle, his right arm reduced to a bloody ruin and his body nearly broken beyond repair.

Taking Malgrog to Khar Delba, the Zambranos experimented on their damaged servant. They infused his genetic material with the Dark Side of the Force, greatly increasing his power and transforming his body into a hideous deformity of what it once was. Despite this, they preserved his mind in order to allow Malgrog to serve as he once did before his injuries.

He was appointed the High Warlord of the Dark Legion, a confederation of Graug warbands and their beasts that would scour the galaxy of the Sith's enemies through brutal reprisal and annihilation.
